Description of Work: Moved the circuit breaker panel and fixed several electrical wiring problems. The project took over ten days once work was started. Their quote beat the next best by half and they stuck to their quote. The individual electrician that worked the project was the saving grace. Very professional, detail oriented, and accommodating. The problem was determining what days he would show up. The company would just randomly assign him to other jobs during the project without notifying us. About halfway through I would just call the lead electrician every afternoon to find out if they were coming the next day. Maybe I'm being tough but I thought it was unprofessional.

Description of Work: Simply EXCELLENT!!! We had gotten a written quote from another electrician but the scope of work kept get smaller and smaller while the price kept creeping up. I was becoming very concerned about keeping our rather sizable construction project on time and on budget. In frustration I said a prayer for help. The next day I was headed to work and saw a Dailey Electric van in a neighbor's yard. I dialed the number on the van and they came out that day to give an estimate. Best thing I EVER could have done. Dailey's estimate was a LOT less but fair (I thought all along we were being robbed by the other guy) AND Dailey did an excellent job!! They finished on time and on budget! The young man who did the work at our home (Jason) was professional and knowledgeable and the company employees work well as a team. I don't even think about who to call for electrical service...it will ALWAYS be Dailey. Everytime I see one of their vans around town it gives me a good feeling inside because I know that whomever is driving it is a quality person who cares about the work that they do. We've all seen those good guy cape commercials. The Dailey guys can wear capes AND halo's. I will NEVER even think about calling anyone other than Dailey electrical for my electrical needs. I only wish that all contractors were as good. Just today I needed to get an electrical problem addressed. I gave Dailey a call and I was still typing this review when the young man ( Red) showed up with a smile on his face, and yes wearing the Dailey halo! I was amazed at how quickly he got here. Once again the care and service we received was EXCELLENT!!! I don't know who owns Dailey Electrical but I do know that quality and customer services attitudes are set at the top. This is a well run organization. We've worked with nearly 30 contractors and sub contractors on our old house restoration projects...two stand out as excellent...Daily Electric and Lupe Garcia!

+ -1 moreThe two guys did a great job and it looks great. The younger guy seemed to do most of the work and the senior guy gave orders and was not very professional. The senior guy seemed to be a bit grumpy about doing the work. He may have been a little ill, or something.
Description of Work: We had an outdoor socket and a box for a ceiling fan installed in our pavilion. It required a new circuit breaker and wiring through the attic and out the eve, down the wall, under the ground (we installed the under ground conduit) and to the pavilion. Installed a 4 outlet box, a 2 switch and a ceiling box for the fan. We hung the fan.

+ 0 moreA broken shoulder, about a year ago, interrupted all in-progress electrical upgrades, which I generally do myself. My lady was not happy! During a bathroom remodel earlier this month, H. Bond Construction installed our new "Walk in (Geezer) Tub/Spa." During the process, a young electrician, John Budzisz, was brought in to make final hookups.. His enthusiasm and ingenuity was infectious; and my lady immediately accosted him about all the "stuff that I wasn't able to finish." Of course, as most craftsmen will, he said, "Sure, call me when you're ready." Well; we contacted him through H.Bond last week, and he showed up this morning at 0830, and just before 1100, started packing away his tools... He was done!! New stuff was in place, old stuff was working; there was no evidence that he was ever here, other than a new bathroom light/vent/heater, ceiling fan/light/new switch in the bedroom, and a new light and switch installation in the hallway. He presented us with an invoice for 2.5 hours work; $140.00... I was stunned. Maybe years of experience have made me cynical when having to call in "professionals." I expected to get "soaked," and this experience renewed my faith. Am not able to comment on the totality of Dailey Electric's work, as this was my first experience; but you can d*** well bet your booty that the next time I need electrical help, 979-694-4404 will be the number I dial first. When more than one kitchen appliance was running, the kitchen lights would flicker and sometimes the circuit breaker would shut off. She and her roommates called the landlord, and a handyman visited and said everything was okay—he didn't fix the problem. Worried that the house might catch fire, I found Dailey Electric (Bryan/College Station) on Angie's List and referred them to my daughter. She called them and set up an inspection appointment for the next day. Two electricians arrived promptly and for the cost of a one-hour service call, plus a few minutes more, they rewired some electrical outlets, checked the entire electrical system in the house, including the circuit breaker box, and the problem has been fixed. She reported that they were courteous, and very thorough explaining what they did and how the repair had been completed. Next stop: get the landlord to reimburse us for the cost of the inspection and repair.

+ -1 moreSunday afternoon one of my lights started flickering. Going around the house, there were several lights and outlets with flickering or no power. In some instances, turning one light on or off would dim or brighten another. It was very bizarre. There had just been a storm and a tree branch was down on my power line, so I had the city come out and remove the branch and test my connections to see if that was the cause. They assured me that it wasn't. On Monday afternoon, at about 2:00 I called Dailey and he asked if I was at the house. I wasn't. I was at the office but I could head home if needed. He said he'd call me back to let me know if he had a guy available. Sure enough, within 5 minutes I got a call that he had a guy available and I headed out. When I got home, his guy was waiting for me. He got to work testing my plugs and switches. It took him maybe 30-45 minutes to ID the problem and then about that long to make the repair and replace all of the switches, plugs, and faceplates. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I now have Dialey's number on my fridge and will be using them for all of my electrical needs.

He did a great job, cleaned up all the dust he created, and gave me great information on how everything works. He even hooked up my TV, cable, and dvd. I highly recommend this company.

+ -1 moreWent very well overall - the service tech was at our house within 48 h of my call, and he spent several hours diagnosing the problems with both the doorbell and the lighting. The lighting problems resulted from faulty initial installation that went on to destroy the existing fixtures. He explained the problem and recommended a reasonable solution (replace the light fixtures), as well as how to maintain the system in the future. He was also very friendly and courteous - on the basis of my experience with this one tech, I would certainly call them again in the future.
