Crag Tripp's crew arrived on time and went about their work in a very professional and productive manner. The work is hard, hot, and very labor intensive. Craig has always kept intouch with us and has answered any questions with prompt and truthful answers. I always enjoy having a contractor that works this way.

Great because when they FOUND piers they told us and then made adjustments and repairs vs putting in new ones. Then when we needed adjustments they came back out and made them as part of their warranty. They gave us options and were happy to fill in the gaps in our knowledge.

Description of Work: They found existing piers, fixed what they could, replaced what they couldn't, patched concrete damage caused by a plumbing repair), adjusted their price down to reflect the work needed and executed vs originally expected. I'm sure it could have gone the other way!

We had a 600 SF addition to the house that had broke away from the original house foundation. They were not the cheapest but I feel like it was worth the extra cost to get it fixed correctly. Very responsive and explained the entire process and the limitations. They moved furniture and cleaned up after themselves inside and out. Very professional.

The work on our foundation had to be delayed a couple of months due to all the rain we had that winter. When they did come out, they did NOT mess around :) Anchor brought a crew of 6-8 men and really went to work. The size and depth of the holes they dug really impressed me, they did not skimp on the preparation work. The amount of dirt that was removed from under the house, and the amount of concrete that went in was very impressive. It took two cement trucks to bring it all in. They were very careful in jacking up the foundation prior to pouring the concrete; they were constantly checking that they were not causing any problems with the plumbing. After the the cement was poured and allowed to set for about two weeks, they came out and did a great job of cleaning the entire work sight, they even brought out some top soil to repair the small trench the cement truck made. I am writing this review in November (six months after the work) and our house is rock solid. Through the dry parts of summer and the rain of the fall, the doors and windows functioned perfectly. My wife and I are very pleased with the work Anchor did for us, and I feel they more than earned their money. I would recommend them to a friend.
Description of Work: "This is only a review of the inspection process, I will write another review after the actual work is done. | I was very impressed with the entire quote/inspection process. He took his time, and was very open about what my choices were, how much they would cost, and the expected results of the different price options. | I was also very happy (relieved actually) that the quote was much less than I was expecting. They currently have about 7-8 weeks of backlog, but I am looking forward to early January when they will perform the work."

Craig was wonderful to work with. He and crew chief, Luis, were very helpful in explaining to us what they were doing and when they found something that didn't look quite right they brought it to our attention and explained thoroughly what they thought needed to be done. However, they did not pressure us into making any instant decisions. We were allowed to talk things over and sleep on our discussions of what needed to be done. We were all working for the same goal and that was to make the house safe and sturdy. The whole crew was very polite and when they left for the day they cleaned up as if they had never been there. I can't say enough about how plesant it has been working with them. They gave us an estimate, approximate start date and the work ended up costing a little less than originally estimated and the start date ended up being muc sooner thatn originally planned. Craig called us a few days ahead of them starting to make sure it would fit our schedule for them to start sooner. I highly recommend Anchor Foundation Repair. They will be taking care of us for a long time.

I got him from Angie's list. I haven't had the foundation repaired yet as it is expensive. We had a drought in Texas that pretty much wrecked everybody's foundation as everything dried up under there. He came out and measured and did all of that whatever it was. He came in and talked to me and said, and lsquo; You don't have to do it right now, but you really need to do it in the next couple of years because your house has sank three inches in the back and the front is okay'. They had to put pilings and he said it will cost $11000. He also said I had to be prepared for few weeks as they are constantly busy and they don't have time to do anything. He was very nice and very professional. He was extremely great. It is a family owned business and it is never ever advertised anywhere and it is word of mouth. He was right here when he said he is going to be here.

They came out and looked at the bricks that were showing a vertical crack from foundation up to the window sill. He also came in the house and used a level to check the tops of doors, and found two small cracks in the drywall. He told me everything looked fine at this time and was just natural settling, especially with the bad drought two summers ago. He showed me how to watch the cracks in the drywall and if they appeared to be getting worse, to call them again. He showed me what caulking my husband needs to get to repair the crack in the bricks. Very thorough and professional and didn't charge me anything!!

Very impressed with the service I received. Had to wait several months before work started because of their backlog. Our area suffered a drought last year that played havoc on foundations.
Description of Work: Leveled our brick home foundation. I followed the procedure carefully and can report that everything that was to be done, was done, and then some. The employees of this company were very cordial and worked at a steady consisent pace even when the boss or superintendent was not on site. They put everything back to original position or improved as required.

Being relatively new at home ownership, and concerned by hearing settling noises and noticing a small line on the inside wall leading to the door to the back yard, I called Anchor. Elderly gentleman, owner of the business, showed up on my request. Looked at the slight crack line, mentioned that it was due to settling, which is normal, and that he could provide service for this but it would go on the home's history and needlessly affect resale value. He marked edge of wall crack line with a pencil and suggested that I call him again in Jun 2010 if the crack extended. It hasn't and I haven't needed this service after all. Brazos' business bureau ranks him highly and I will too, for his honesty and integrity.
Description of Work: House seemed to be settling, door to back yard was misaligned. I requested service for stabilizing foundation.
