Description of Work: I was very happy with the service and repairs provided by this company. We are out of state landlords and had an air conditioner that needed to be replaced. I called and spoke to several companies. Jose was always very prompt in getting back with me. He also was willing (and patient) to explain and teach me the things I needed to know in making this purchase. He had a competitive price as well. My tenant was happy with the communication from them during the installation and the technicians were very nice and polite. I would highly recommend Aggieland to other people.

Description of Work: I had a small gas leak in my attic next to the furnace. Travis diagnosed and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. Very thankful for his help. Will DEFINATELY use ACC in the future.

Description of Work: We received an inspection of our HVAC needs and quote for services. After the salesman inspected, there was no contact or follow-up except for the quote. Unfortunately for them, they missed out on a $35,00.00 order.

Description of Work: ACC put in freon for $255. The compressor still froze with ice on the outside. Then they put in a valve for $850. When the outside temperature is at 32°or less it's still cold in the house.

Description of Work: They inspected the two AC/Heat pump systems and advised me on the best way to upgrade the thermostat to improve efficiency. The initial verbal report was very professional and courteous, although the technician did get lost on the way to the rural property... but this has been a common problem with first time services, so I do no hold it against them. However, they were supposed to email a follow up report detailing the power usage of both units since one of the fans was apparently drawing a bit more than it should, and the report never arrived despite a phone request several weeks later.

Description of Work: We called in the morning with a problem with our A/C, he showed up that afternoon at exactly the time he said he would ---> that alone gives him a gold star :) | Our A/C was checked, and it turned out we had a blown capacitor which he replaced on the spot. He also checked our freon level and said it was fine, I was surprised (and pleased) that he didn't try to tell me I needed to top it off. | I have nothing to say but good things about Aggieland Climate. We used to have AirPro take care of our heat pump, but it seems they are out of business. I now have a new company that I trust to service our heat pump.

Description of Work: Replaced the half of the system in the attic. Two years prior they replaced the compressor outside. Gave me the option to replace it all then or wait for this half to go out when I could afford it. Very helpful. The price they quote includes tax, labor, and no hidden surprises.

+ -1 moreRepairman checked filter, coils, and coolant. Stated that air conditioner was approximately 1996 model. It is operating correctly but just can't keep up with the heat. He stated there was no charge since no repairs were made. He did not try to sell me a new unit. When I decide to replace the air conditioner, this is the company I will buy it from. They stated they would come at 1 pm the same day I called, but asked if they finished another job earlier would it be ok to call and come earlier. I said yes sure enough, they called and came about 30 minutes earlier. (Yeah!) I am happy to have found this company.
Description of Work: The temperature in my home would not go below 78 in the hottest part of the afternoon, even though I had the thermostat set on 74.

+ -1 moreI called and they said they could be out the next morning. Around 3, they called back and said they could be there in 30 min. I was impressed. The technician that came out was very nice, and worked hard to make the work done of the utmost quality.This is not the first time I have used them. 2 years ago, I returned from the hospital of a full abdominal surgery to a very hot 98 degree home. They came out within hours when I explained I couldn't walk and was just home from the hospital. The unit needed to be replaced. They called ever other AC Contractor in the area to get me a replacement that day. They could not find the correct size, so the owner sent an employee to Houston to get one to put in the following morning. I could not have asked for a more wonderful or nicer group of guys.
Description of Work: Repaired leaking unit by rebuilding the drain lines and replacing the drain pan to correct fittings.

Description of Work: Thermostat was not working. Contractor inspected system including in my attic and determined it was just an old thermostat that needed replacement. Told me that we could probably install the thermostat ourselves as it is easy to do but I chose to have him do it. From the time he came into the house until he finished installing it after going to purchase it was only about an hour and a half and he was not a minute late for the appointment.

+ -1 moreAnswered the phone the day after Christmas when most other heating/cooling contractors were closed. Came out the next day and replaced a fuse in the heat pump -- and waived the service call fee. This was a nice Christmas gift and we will call them first the next time we need work done.

+ -1 moreCalled company on Saturday at 10 am. Was told they have 2 calls and am next. Their website advertised a free estimate and free service call and 30% off service charge. I was charged $200 for a capacitor that costs at most $30. Why the $200 if I weren't charged service call, estimate and had a 30% discount. Their invoice is vague at best. I was ripped off and don't appreciate their dishonest business practices, trick you with a great coupon and then rip their customers off.
