 + 0 moreWe hired Aggieland Carpet One to replace the carpet. We were so impressed with them, from the store, to the salesperson, to the installers. Everyone was so friendly and personable. The salesperson, Miriam, came to our house with several samples and helped us choose the color and style. She was so knowledgeable and knew what we wanted, even when we didn't. The installers came exactly on time and finished the job in 1 1/2 hours. We highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: We had to replace the carpet on our stairs.

 + 0 moreThe sales representative was very helpful during the selection process. Room measurements and the estimate seemed inexact but everything worked out well. The workers that installed the flooring did an excellent job of flooring installation, surface cleaning, and then cutting and installing the trim and repairing the carpet connections. There were no problems.
Description of Work: Engineered Hardwood flooring was installed in the living room and the hallway.

 + -1 moreI never received a call back, so there was no work performed. Therefore, I cannot comment on the quality of their work, but their responsiveness was less than satisfactory.
Description of Work: I phoned Aggieland Carpet to see if they could perform repair work on my shower, which had one floor tile that had "popped up" due to water getting underneath it (grout was cracked). I was referred to someone in their tile department, to whom I described the work that needed done, and who told me that the work cost would be in addition to their minimum charge of $150, and that she would be calling me back later to schedule a visit to my house. No one ever called back, and I had no further contact with the company.

Description of Work: Although this happen a few years back and hopefully things have changed at this company. We had our entire house re-done with tile floor in the living areas and carpet in the all three bedrooms. Prices was quoted, written down and signed off on by myself and the salesman not once but twice. He came out to the house for the estimate and at the beginning of the job. Workers showed up on time in the beginning until one of them got sick then there was a delayed in the work when none of them came for a day so worked slowed down. In the middle of all this..our salesman quit and another salesman was assigned to our account. At the end of the job, the new salesman came and did a walk thru and sat down and said we owed 3800.00 MORE! WHY? Misquoted he said...Sorry a contract is a contract and I refused to pay. I had already paid them 16,000.00 for what was quoted. They left a small gap in the hallway where the tile meets the carpet in one of the bedrooms, they said they would come back to repair but never did after a few phone calls. I guess they were not happy after I refused to pay additional 3800.00 and all communication shut down.

 + 1 moreThe work was done by 2 different crew since I was having both carpet and tile installed and they both were very professional. The owner also came out that day to see how the work was going and if I had any problems. It looks wonderful and I am very pleased.
Description of Work: I moved into a home that needed new flooring. I went the Aggieland Carpet looked at the different kinds of flooring and decided on carpet for the 3 bedrooms and tile in the master bath and walk-in closet. The rest of the house has tile and I found a prefect match that went with the existing tile.

 + -1 moreI contacted the company and made an appointment for a salesperson come out for an estimate. She brought flooring samples along. I had done research previously, so I was sure of the type of flooring we wanted. Within a week or so, we chose the color and placed an order. The wait took longer than we first expected, but I understand that was beyond their control. About four weeks after placing the order, the floor was installed. We were excited about the new floor and our color choice. About 3 weeks later, I was sitting on the floor in the kitchen and I noticed a crack in the flooring in the corner, under the toespace - hidden in the shadows. I checked the other corners. Each corner that was "hidden" by the toespace was cracked. One corner has a 1/2 inch wide triangle of flooring missing. The installer did a horrible job. I have called and emailed the company numerous times. The installation manager came to our house, took some pictures, but now 6 weeks later, has not returned my calls/emails. How long do I have to wait for a fix to this problem?

 + 0 moreWe have used this company in the past and were very happy with their performance and product. The performance, workmanship, and product were executed in the proper fashion. However, at the completion, the floor had an inconsistent haze throughout. When I contacted the owner he came over immediately. The problem was too much glue used leaving "patches" of haze. The owner made my house his #one priority. He provided a glue remover which his workman used. The workman was here at the house daily for about 2 weeks consistently. It took some "elbow grease" and daily time but the finished product is beautiful. I am so impressed that a company in this day and age truly stands behind both their product and workmanship!

 + 1 moreWhen I first walked into the store I was greeted, and I soon had a sales professional guiding me through the racks of products. They came to my house and did a measure the next day and offered me some very helpful advice with colors, etc. I decided to go with them because of the installation guarantee and they had the products that I loved, and so I signed with them about two weeks after I first walked in. I special ordered some products that came about a week and half later, and they had all the products installed within 3 weeks of signing. It took longer because of the different products. Of course with remodel a few things came up, but their installation manager and my sales person was always available to discuss the problems, and we resolved them very quickly. Overall I'm very pleased with my experience and would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: I had tile, carpet, and hardwood floors installed by this company. Their sales people were very knowledgable from the beginning, and helpful throughout the process. They have a huge store with tons of products in every price range. Their installers were very good.
