Response from Quality Control Remodeling
Dear member, its clear that you are not telling the facts here but you are right I didn't want to cut into a wall blindly when I can't see if there is plumbing, electrical or other things that could be damaged but you wouldn't let it go even after I offered you a refund you seemed like no matter what you wanted this ironing board in the wall at any cost so being me I wanted to make sure my customer was happy so after figuring out a way to get this thing in the wall we find out that behind the sheetrock was 3/4" plywood that we had to cut out also there was a 2x4 in the wall that we had to cut out so we couldn't just dive into cutting into something we couldn't see I wish I had x-ray vision so I can make sure I'm not cutting into your plumbing and then I could just dive right in but I took caution and was able to get this ironing board in the wall after spending about 2 hours longer than what you paid for and it's always the people that I work the hardest to make happy that has a problem with me. As far as the height I ask you where you wanted it I even put a measuring tape up to the wall and had you stand there and marked where you wanted it ..it was your ironing board so if anyone failed to account for anything it wasent me .. while we were there the ironing board was installed and we pulled it down and you said it was fine if wasent untill 4 days after that your husband called me and rudely called me a liar then demanded that I come back and lower it which I agreed to but I wanted compensated for my time because I already had worked 2 hours over at no charge. By the way you failed to mention that you gave me a $40 tip ... Why would you do that if I'm such a bad handyman ?
