CLEBURNE AIR-COOLED ENGINE SVC

Took lawn mower and trimmer in for maintenance service. Both clerk and apparent owner told me they would not work on the trimmer because it was not worth the trouble. They would, however, sell me a new one. The clerk said that all trimmers only have 50 hours of service life and the owner seemed to concur. I check the service manual for my Troy-Bilt TB75SS trimmer and they warrantee it for 2 years. If i use it for only 1/2 hour a week, that's still double what these "experts' said. The manual calls for maintenance at 10, 25, & 50 hours. This would seem to indicate they expect the product to give far more than 50 hours of service. I am assuming this was a BS refusal of service just to get me to buy a product i don't need. I have done business with this place before and they always seemed reasonable and had actually service this exact same trimmer last year. I will not be giving them my business in the future and will not recommend them to anyone.
