Alamo did everything I asked and everything they promised to do. I actually had them back a second time for an estimate as I wasn't home on the first visit then left town for about a week. They came back, answered my questions, and we made the deal. They told me upfront that they were a little backed up and it would take about two weeks to schedule, and in just shy of two weeks they called. I only asked them to give me a call the day before so I could ensure the back yard was accessible and they called. What more can you ask. They did a nice job and the wife already told me when I got home that the screens made a big difference in how warm the room was and I'm hoping to see that reflected in a lower electric bill. Great job and really nice folks to work with. If you want Solar Screens, I'd recommend them.

The screens were well made and custom fitted. They were prompt (in fact, a full 2 days ahead of promised due date) and very professional in appearance and workmanship. Their product added hundreds of dollars to street apeal and value to our home, as well as lowering our cooling electrical bill. I have verbally recommeded them to several relatives and friends, and would insist on them should we ever again need replacement screens. We really got our money's worth on this deal.

When my husband and I called Alamo Discount Solar Shades, Donna was very polite and professional. She worked around our schedule to set up an appointment for an estimate in a timely manner. Lupe arrived promptly and took the time to explain the material used in the shades, the benefits of installing them on our house, and the method of installation. He carefully measured each window and was able to show us multiple samples, so we could envision how the shades would look once installed. The installation process was very smooth and we immediately noticed a temperature difference inside our home. We are very happy with the quality of the shades and the professionalism of the company.

When I called Alamo Discount Solar Shades to come and give us an estimate, Donna was very nice and helpful and set-up the appt. for Lupe to come out. He showed up on time and did a very nice job of measuring and giving me the estimate and sample of the 80 and 90 percent solar screen colors and metal finishes to select from and to show my husband . If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have use them. He not only gave great service but came back to take care of a small problem I had after the screens were installed. They were really good. They sold it and a couple of weeks later they came back and put them in. So they have just installed it. They were in and done; in and out real quick. The guy got a form that he gave me to fill out, and I needed to fill it out and mail it in, and I will do that as soon as I can. They are polite. They came in, made an estimate, I agreed to the estimate and a couple of weeks later they showed up, and installed them. In 45 minutes things were done and they left. They were really fast. I only had four to five windows done; we did not do the whole house. So they were in and out fast. Their price was okay, I am not complaining about it but they could have been a little cheaper.

The goal of this project was to NOT have sun heat beating down on the front of our house because usually we can't sit in our living room even with the AC on. So we had Alamo Discount Solar Shades come be and do an estimate for all of the windows on the front of the house including the attic windows. This company was extremely professional from the first phone call I made. They came out the same day for an estimate, gave me a quote and I ordered them right away. They told me it would be 10 days for install, but I believe they came in about 7-8 days - just in time for some really hot temperatures! They installed very quickly and were out of here. We immediately felt the difference in the home. I would totally call them again if I had a need and I have been telling everyone about them!

The workmanship and quality of these solar screens are absolutely excellent!!! We have very large-20 foot cathedral ceilings in out living room area with very steep window angles.

Originally, we were only looking at getting solar screens installed on a couple of windows on one of the bedrooms that get much hotter than the rest of the house due to the direct sunlight it received. However, once the guys from alamo discount solar shades came out and explained their installation process, the warranty associated with the shades, and saw examples of just how good the installed product looked, we asked for an estimate on how much the job for the total house would be. The price was reasonable, by my estimation and according to a few other estimates I had received. However, it was a bit more than we were planning on paying for at one time, so they were able to work out a installment plan with us, and we went for it. The installation was great, the guys were very professional, prompt, and called in advance to verify their arrival time. The business office called to follow up and see how the install went and to check whether or not we were satisfied with the final product. A very nice touch. We would highly recommend going with this company to anyone looking for a quality product at a fair price, with excellent customer service. ***Oh yeah, the sun shades really cut down on how hot the original room we contacted them for in the first place, got. We could tell the difference, right away.
