Have tried multiple times after visiting at Home & Garden show to schedule visit and can't get return phone calls or actual onsite visit. Recently had visit scheduled in a 5 hour wait time, and then no one showed up or called. I had to call to even determine if they were still in the area. Get tired of repeating my name and zip code to determine when or if someone can make it to my home. Big waste of my time sitting around!

Lupe did an excellent job. He came out and gave quoted price with discount. Said all were custom made and would be installed in 2-3 weeks. Also items were fully guaranteed. Job was completed as promised.

Came same day we called for estimate. 2 weeks later screens were here they took 30 mins to install super nice guy.

They came out and gave me an estimate in a VERY timely manner and were honest and thorough with their comments and suggestions. They even helped me pick out the colors that would work best with my house. They came out to do the job pretty quickly after I gave them the OK, with maybe 2-3 weeks wait for the screens to be made. I didn't even have to be home for them to do the work. When I did come home on the designated day for the install, everything was already completed excellently. Other than the old screens, which they left for us, there was no mess whatsoever. I also thought their prices were very reasonable. This is the second time we have had them do solar screens for us in the last year (the first time was on our business building), and they are wonderful. I highly recommend them.

Alamo Solar Screens was awesome! When I made an appointment to get a free estimate, the gentleman was on time and very courteous. He gave me some payment options and told me specifically when he would return to install the screens. He kept his word and it only took a couple of hours for the installation. I only wish ALL contractors would have his customer service!

Lupe came out to do initial measurements and estimated cost. Gave him the ok to do the job. Install delayed due to rain, but came out 2 days later, did install on 12 windows and one storm door.

I called to set up an appt for free estimate: They were flexible to make the appt fir my schedule. Upon installation they were once again wonderfully polite & professional.

Everything went very smoothly. We left a message initially and were called back promptly. Lupe came out the next day to measure and explain his product. The shades were ready in less than 3 weeks. Lupe came out an installed them in less than an hour. They really look great and we have noticed a difference already. Everyone at this company was friendly, professional and responsive-a real pleasure to deal with. We will surely be calling in the future when we need more shades. Excellent company and staff!

He got back to us very quickly and came out to give us an estimate within a couple days. He told us it would be about 2-3 weeks to order the shades, and it was about 3 weeks. He came and installed them in the evening after business hours, we didn't even have to be there since the install was outside. They look super, and we are completely satisfied with his work. We felt his pricing was very reasonable for custom shades. We purchased the higher-grade material for the shades and they have done a great job of keeping the room cool despite the afternoon sun that beats down on that particular set of windows. We would gladly recommend him, and we are even considering hiring him again for some windows at our home.

We wanted solar screens to help block out the heat that comes with the summer. The entire process went smoothly. We set up a time for Lupe to come out and take measurements. It took less than two weeks for all screens to be made and then installed. Installation was quick and they look great. Very professional company and friendly staff members. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Although it has not been very hot yet I can already tell that they are making a difference.

The entire process from calling for an appointment to get an estimate, to getting the estimate, to the installation of the product was just great. Donna, Lupe, and Steve were fantastic to work with. Lupe came out, measured the windows and gave me a very fair price. Lupe explained everything about the product, and the steps that would be taken to manufacture and install the shades. I told Lupe I would need to get HOA approval and it may take a week or 2 to give him an answer. Lupe understood and told me there was no pressure and for me to call when I had approval. Within a week I had approval and called Donna with the go ahead. In less than 2 weeks Donna called and said the shades were ready and Lupe would give me a call to schedule an install time. Sure enough within a couple hours Lupe called and we scheduled the installation for 11/12/14. On the initial installation trip every thing was going great until the large arched window was being installed. Lupe just couldn't get it to fit right and it was causing the screen to have folds. Lupe explained that the screens are made on a machine and the arches are perfect whereas the brick work around the arch was done by hand and of course would not be exact. Lupe installed the shade the best he could and said he would be back in a couple days with his partner to get the screen installed more precisely. A few days later Lupe and Steve came over and got the arched screen installed perfectly. I was so impressed by their workmanship, and professionalism. After seeing the screens on my windows, I liked the look so much I had Lupe give me an estimate for screening on 2 of my west facing windows that I initially didn't want screened. It took just 2 days for that shade to be made and installed. I really appreciate the quick turnaround. The screens work just as Lupe said they would. The amount of glaring sun is greatly reduced as well as the heat. And, they really dress up the look of the house. I should have done this years ago. If you are looking for ways to help keep your home cooler consider solar shades and give this company a call. You won't be sorry!

They came out the day after I called them exactly when they said they would be here. They thoroughly discussed how they would do the work and how the solar screens would perform and look--showed me pictures of a number of previously completed projects. They gave me an estimate--very reasonable. We set up an install date. They came out on the install date, in fact came a bit early which I like. They removed all the old screens and installed the new ones--no problems with install and they left no mess at all. They went over how to maintain them, the warranty they and manufacturer provide. They did a great job answering all my questions and concerns. Andrie and Lupe along with all the folks at the company were very friendly, great customer service and attention to detail with me and the product installation. They are great--I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Great! They installed my screens within a week of estimate. Andrew took care of our screens, there was an error on one of the screens, I called Andrew and he took care of it the next day. Nobody is perfect but this guys are close.
