I contacted Talbert Construction regarding shingles that had come loose on my roof and the very same day they were at my house, on my roof, replacing the shingles that had come loose. They were extremely punctual and helpful. I am very pleased and will use them again in the future. They also checked the rest of my roof to determine if there were any other spots that needed to be replaced or repaired. This is the second time I have had them at my house replacing shingles that came loose, and both times they did a great job and were very responsive.

We called multiple companies to get bids on the job after a significant early summer hail storm here in central Texas. 1 company didn't even show up for our arranged time to go over what we needed, another well known local company just sent us an estimate by email based on a satellite photo (hint- if you want a $30k+ job, at least leave your office to go meet with the customer who lives just 20 mins from your business), the third one spent a lot of time with us and were great but they based their "estimate" on "whatever your insurance company give you plus the difference in cost for the upgrades you want"... Oh, by the way, they wanted a 20% premium as a "contractor" as they were subcontracting the gutter job out... Basically, they wanted over $48k for a $33k job. When I pushed for separate job estimates and what it would cost had they not known what my insurance was giving me, they wouldn't budge or provide one. Their salesman's reasoning was "if your insurance is paying you that much, why not use it all?" I tried to explain that there is no reason for me to waste/give away my insurance company's money just because it is available as it has to come from us, the customer, sooner or later. He wasn't even listening. I d*** sure wasn't happy about pulling out $10-15k of my own money for upgrades (exact products and brand name) when it was included in another estimate for much less. Now, we come to Ryan at Talbert construction. Their company is based 40 miles away in Waco but they showed up the next day to go over the job. Ryan spent hours with us over the next week or so going over the different types of shingles, material (steel, composite, slate, etc), colors, quality, and associated warranties associated with each type. They even tacked up 3x6 ft areas of the "finalists" so were could take a few days looking at them all side by side to really decide what we wanted. When we finally chose the color, type, and optional items, a date was set for the following week. They delayed another few days because there was a chance of rain and they didn't want to take a chance of us getting caught without a decent covering and we appreciated that. They were worried about the customer and not just going ahead and taking the chance just to stay on schedule. That said a lot. The roof went on great and they even replaced our old hard wired roof vent fans with new solar ones. They are quiet and came with a great warrantee. The upgraded replacement gutter we ordered is not common (half round gutters with round down spouts instead of traditional gutter) so it took another week for the subcontractor (No "contractor" fee I might add) to get all the material and get them on but the finished product is incredible. Throughout the whole process, Ryan Pryor was either at the house making sure we were happy or talking to us on the phone making sure we were 100% satisfied. I can't say enough about how much that meant to us during the process. Spending $27k in repairs and $6k in upgrades is stressful enough, having second thoughts about, or having to second guess, your contractor just adds to the stress level. With Ryan and Talbert Construction, this worry was removed from the situation. We can't say enough about them and how satisfied we are. At this point, I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the central Texas area.

We interviewed several contractors and ultimately chose Talbert Construction to replace our roof (due to hail damage). Ryan made the choice easy. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and discussed the roof damage/estimate/replacement in detail. Ryan kept us up to date. We agreed and knew exactly when the work would be done. The work is complete. They did an outstanding job and we are very happy. We plan to use Talbert Construction in the future for additional projects and highly recommend them.

Mr. Talbert inspected my roof and chimney and provided minor repairs. After inspecting the roof he was able to assure me that it was in good condition and unless there is a major weather event should last several more years of wear. Cost was minimal.

Since many of the other reviews here cover the quality of Talbert Construction's work, I'll focus here on how much they helped us with our insurance company. When our roof started leaking after a huge hailstorm, Talbert came out and confirmed that our roof had suffered extensive hail damage. Our home insurance company, however, claimed that the damage had occurred previous to our moving into the home (less than a year previously) and therefore refused to cover the damage. Jared and Heath Talbert then helped us through the entire process of challenging our insurance company. I don't think we would have succeeded without them. It took months, but Talbert never abandoned us and their expertise helped us to get a new roof. Our insurance company kept stalling and stringing us along, hoping that we would give up. When we reached the final stage of arbitration before our case would have gone before a judge, our insurance company's representative said to us, "Well, we don't have a leg to stand on if this went before an outside judge. I'm authorizing a new roof." THANK YOU TALBERT. We would have been stuck without your expertise, persistence, and commitment to us. The work on the new roof was great and accomplished quickly with excellent clean up afterward.

The first day was a little slow but by day 2 they were going full steam ahead. They completed a big project in four days and were very professional and paid attention to the details of what I wanted for this job. I will definitely be using this company again!!

Pluses: Excellent customer service, responsiveness, and flexibility. Worked with us on scheduling and facilitated 90% of dealings with the mortgage company. Minuses: The job took longer than expected, and there were pieces of metal left in the grass. Overall, I would recommend Talbert Construction and would use them again myself.

Talbert Construction Company responded quickly to my call on a Saturday morning. Mr. Talbert figured out what was wrong and how to fix it, and by midday the job was done. He was concerned, courteous, and went the extra mile to help me. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has a roofing need.

I am a widowed senior and have had many experiences with contractors, builders, painters, etc. in my life experiences. In each of those occasions I was disappointed in the workmanship and integrity of the contractors always having to accept a result not of my liking. The continued stress and delays were such that you never wanted to engage another contractor. However, even with that skepticism in mind, I was in need of a replacement roof due to hail damage, so I went to Agnie's List as I have had good experiences through their reviews. Talbert Construction had so many exceptional reviews, I contacted them and was fortuitous in being connected with Ryan Pryor. From my first meeting with Ryan, I felt a sense of comfort and trust. However, I had been lulled into those feelings before with other contractors, so I still had my antenna up. However, for the first time in my life, I found an honorable man that was the same from the first meeting until the last. He was never condescending and overpowering with his knowledge being superior to mine. One of his earliest comments in answer to one of my concerns was ?I?ll take care of that for you. Don?t worry?. Those words were comforting to me. Ryan was surely a man of his word and he did just that--He took care of me in this undertaking. I had been thinking of having the exterior of the house painted and some rotten wood replaced, but had been postponing the project not wanting to undergo the associated stress. Ryan competently assessed the work that needed to be done and had Talbert?s painters perform the work. True to his word, the painters were excellent and finished the work promptly, neatly, and of excellent workmanship. I became quite fond of the supervising painter Jessie, a quiet well-spoken young man. I was so please with the work on the outside of the house that I added the painting of the interior of my garage including the concrete floor. Never hearing anything but horror stories about garage floor painting, I did extensive research. Ryan and the painters listened to my input and they professionally completed the garage. I have to tell you: I love my garage with the beautiful taupe paint tones. In conclusion, I highly recommend Talbert?s and Ryan Pryor specially. He?s really a ?sweetheart? (as a senior I can get away with this kind of talk.).

They did a good job, they were dependable, trustworthy and friendly. I really liked them and will use them again.

A hail storm came through our neighborhood and it was several months before we saw roofs being repaired. When we saw that, we phoned our insurance company for an inspection. They inspected the roof and said sorry. We found it odd that most of the homes surrounding ours had damage but ours did not. So, we called Talbert and asked them to come out and take a look. (We had no prior experience with them but did notice that they were present on many of the replacements in progress). They did so the same day. They did not even have to get on the roof to see that it was badly damaged. They contacted the insurance company, on our behalf, for a re-inspection and met the adjuster at our house within the week. His response was the same and approved on the spot the repair. From the initial point of contact, all the way through completion, Ryan Prior, with Talbert, kept us up to speed every step of the way. They came the day they promised, finished the job in a very acceptable time frame and left our yard in the same condition as when they showed up. It has been two years since the repair was completed and we have not had one issue. Based on our experience we would highly recommend Talbert Construction. Everyone we spoke to at the company was respectful and professional.

I?ve replaced my roof 3 maybe 4 times since I?ve lived here. The quality of work, professionalism and courtesy shown by Talbert Construction in the form of Ryan and Jose and his crew exceeded my greatest expectations. I strongly recommend them for any roofing needs. The work done here is far better than I have ever seen before. I saw that minor damage was done to my fence during the repair. I was going to mention it to Ryan fearing the worst, but before I had a chance both Ryan and I were told by Jose of the incident. Ryan contacted a repair company and all damaged material was replaced with new without me having to say anything. Honesty, integrity and responsibility, we don?t see a lot of that with companies very often now. No one but Talbert will ever work on any on my roofs from this time forward.

I called Talbert construction to assess what was going on with our roof as we were finding pieces of shingles on our lawn. Ryan showed up on time the following day (Wednesday) and let us know that we had a few shingles that needed to be replaced on the roof but apart from that the roof was still in fair conditiion and did not need replacing at this time - which was a much needed relief for us. We arranged for a time for him to come out and replace the shingles and turns out he was able to come out the Friday of that same week to replace the shingles. I was not home at the time that he replaced the shingles and Ryan was nice enough to send me a picture of the completed work when he was finished. Overall, I was very impressed with the services provided by Ryan and would use Talbert Construction again- he was punctual, professional, courteous and easy to work with. I could not have been more impressed with the prompt friendly service provided from Talbert Construction. The customer service was impeccable. I can tell you as a single woman it is hard too find people that are honest and DEPENDABLE!! Ryan was kind enough too show me and explain exactly what the problem was. The service was excellent and was done in a timely and professional manor. He went up and beyond he service required. I would recommend them to anyone.

Preliminary estimate was quite detailed, and every item was addressed to satisfaction without and change in cost. Communication was great throughout a weeklong project, and special requests were met without hesitation or complaint. Also, Parsons worked well with the insurance adjuster, and that phase of business spared the customer any pains and proceeded without a hitch. Overall, quite an impressive performance. The final result, the construction itself, is exemplary. Highly recommended.

Everyone from Talbert that we worked with has been so helpful and knowledgable with the whole process from start to finish. They were overly patient with all of my husband's questions and with him watching them constantly. The quality of work is superior to many remodels I've seen. Michael and Noe finished the window trim exactly as I asked even though it might not have been what they normally would do. I really appreciated that. I also really appreciated how clean they left everything at the end of each day. Always picking up and sweeping off sidewalks and porches. We appreciate the attention to every detail. I would recommend them to anyone and I can hardly wait to get started on a new kitchen remodel!

Outstanding company and customer service. Went above and beyond my expectations.

The ridge vents were installed within days of my request. I have had a problem of excess heat in my attic. I previously tried unsuccessfully to solve the problem at significant expense with a solar power fan. Didn't work! Talbert Construction was aware of my over-heating attic problem and gave me a significant cost break. The work was done fast with quality and the temperature in my attic area has dropped at least 15 degrees (Outdoor is 95, attic is 130, previously attic would have been about 145). Highly recommend them.

Ryan was very professional and kept me updated on everything. It was the first claim I have had to put on my house and Ryan made the whole process stress free and simple. I would highly recommend them to anyone else needing any type of repairs to their house and if I need any thing done in the future, I'll use them again.

If you want a construction project completed professionally, timely, and well; call Talbert. I'm still beyond pleased with the finished product as are my neighbors (weatherwood is beautiful). The roof looks amazing. However, the process exceeded my expectations. Honestly, the project from the bid to the final nail was stress-free. Ryan arrived on time, every time, was prepared for everything and took the process off my hands from start to finish. Thank-you Talbert and Ryan!

The work was done well, everything works as expected. Heath Talbert was on-site much of the time. He communicated well throughout the job, and both he and his crew members were friendly and professional. While doing the roof work, they also caulked and painted the siding-clad chimney at no additional charge. There was some miscommunication about both the estimate and the bill that followed the work. But the company was quick and eager to correct it. What stands out about this entire experience is Talbert's strong focus on customer satisfaction, and the willingness to go "above and beyond" to achieve it. I would hire them again.

Heath had the cap custom made and installed the Chimney cap in a timely and professional manner. The cap Looks Great and the cost was extremely reasonable. I will use Heath and Talbert Construction again in the future for all my roofing needs. thanks Heath
