AAA Fence Pros

Very pleased with the work performed by AAA Fence Pros. I met with several fence contractors and landscapers about replacing the fence along the back of my property. I have a significant slope in my backyard which complicated the project. From the beginning, Rey Heurta did what he said he was going to do and met all deadlines. I am very pleased that I met up with Rey. I recommend members contact Rey before deciding which fence company to use.

AAA Fence Pros owner Rey Huerta came to our house and gave us an estimate on replacing an 88-foot basket weave fence and old gate with a new, 6-foot-tall cedar privacy fence and gate. His crew, which consisted of three employees, did an excellent job and were very professional in their work. My wife and I are both very happy with the work done by Mr. Huerta's crew. I would certainly consider using AAA Fence Pros again and I would definitely recommend them.

The workers showed up on time and completed the job in 1 day. The installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would definately recommend these guys if you are looking for a new fence.

Rey returned my call quickly to set up a visit to do an estimate. We had another company give an estimate as well. While both were similar in cost, Rey's crew was able to do the job a few days after I accepted their bid (the other company did not have an opening for 2 weeks). We had 2 new dogs that had learned to jump the chain link fence so we needed the job done quickly. The crew showed up early in the morning and got to work quickly, we were not even home. I had discussed the details of a few minor changes with Rey by phone such as covering any rails that faced inside the yard so that the dogs would not climb the fence like a ladder. The job was done by ~7pm and it looked really good. They hauled off all of the old fencing and left the work area clean. The dogs have been safe and we have been very happy with the outcome. As an added benefit, the job ended up a little less expensive than I expected due to the 5% Angie's List discount that the company gave us. Win-win!

They stopped by and performed a site survey and provided an estimate prior to leaving. I couldn't believe the low price. After receiving approval from my HOA I scheduled the install and they came by. They worked very efficiently and did exactly as I had asked of them. I couldn't have been happier with their final product. When it comes to replacing my fence in the future, I'll be calling them first!!!

Rey Huerta was very prompt in returning calls; gave a thorough detailed estimate; and kept in contact. His crew was prompt, courteous and worked h****** an extremely hot day.

No problems or concerns. The crew knew exactly what they were doning, no guesswork, nobody goofing around. I assume they took a break for lunch but it was too brief for me to notice. The fence is guaranteed for one year which should be ample time to notice any boards that warp.

Dough Meiske and Rey Huerta arrived one day prior to installation of fence, to review work project area. Mr. Huerta and his men came the next day to work on the fence. The men worked in a professional and diligent manner. We are very happy with their work and plan to use their services again.

Excellent! Rey came to our house and discussed various options with us. He gave us clear written estimates. We made a decision as to which option to pursue, and he returned to our house to finalize the contract. The employees were excellent, and by utilizing three work teams, the job was finished in one day. Rey was there to set the job up, and then the owner came by three separate times to make sure all was going well. The employees did a good job of measuring the holes to make sure the posts were set 24" deep, and they used levels to make sure the fence posts were straight. They also did a good job of making sure the pickets had no splits or cracks. In addition, they did an outstanding job of cutting down the trees and clearing the brush. We took bids from three companies for this job, and one of the reasons we chose this company was that they had the capability to cut down trees and clear brush.

We called 3 companies for estimates. We don't like going with the cheapest bid as a lot of times you get what you pay for (poor response, shoddy material, etc) and AAA Fence Pros fell right in the middle. Rey was responsive and courteous and the crew arrived when scheduled. We showed them what we wanted, which sides needed special care due to utilities and bushes and then left. Upon returning home we found the new 4 x 4's set in place and all of the old fencing hauled off. Just as explained. We left for work the next morning and received a call mid afternoon that the fence was complete. Upon arriving home, we found a beautifully completed project. No trash left, no old fencing and a gorgeous gate at the front. They even went the extra step to dig out the dirt in front of the gate so it would have a flush swing. Outstanding job! Bonus too that while they fell in the middle cost wise, once the 5% Angie's List coupon was applied, they were the low bid after all! We would recommend AAA Fence Pros to anyone if they are looking for a quality job at a fair price. We were extremely pleased with the results.

Our experience with AAA Fence Pros was A+ all the way, from the initial phone call to req uest an estimate to the final cleanup after the fences were completed. Mr. Rey Huerta was prompt in arriving to our home to give us our estimate and even met with our neighbors who were interested in having other fencing done. The estimate was extremely fair. After we talked with our neighbors, we all decided to have Mr. Huerta and his crew from AAA Fence Pros to replace our fences. The crew showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule on May 29, 2012, and began removing the old fencing. They were fast and efficient. They began setting the new fence posts that afternoon and all in place before leaving. The next morning the crew began attaching the rails and then the pickets. I watched in amazement at how quickly the fence went up that day. I remember watching my husband and one of our neighbors put up the original fence and how much time and difficulty it took to dig the post holes and to make sure the posts, rails and pickets were straight and level. The crew of AAA Fence Pros were meticulous and efficient. They culled through the pickets and chose the best ones for our fence. After completing the fences, they raked the excess dirt up to the fence and smoothed off the area. They also cleaned up the entire work areas. My husband and I and our neighbors were extremely pleased with the fences and our experience with Mr. Huerta and the crew of AAA Fence Pros. In fact, we are planning to have the remainder of our fence replaced by AAA in the near future.

My wife called the company twice to get estimate to replace approximatly 150' of fence. Did not receive a return call. Went with another provider.

Great initial response to estimate visit, on time and professional. Received prompt reply to phone calls and emails throughout the entire process. Once contract was signed, work began within a week and was initially finished in 1 day. Did have a few major problems. Our contract written for 1" thick superior grade cedar pickets. Installed pickets were 1/2 inch. I was very specific in the size and depth of the holes for the posts, and how I wanted the cement to be placed in the holes. The proper way for quality holes in my soil type is to have them at least 12 inches in diameter and 24 inches deep, with the cement being smoothly sloped around the posts and above the ground level. Most of the posts did not meet this standard (see photo). During the first follow up visit to correct the posts, the cement was just slopped around the posts in a poor manner and not smoothed to a round slope at all (see photo). Mr. Huerta indicated that he did not want his workers to touch the cement with their hands. Apparently they don't know what a trowel is. Also, 2 of the gates had to be corrected on follow-up visits to correct problems with them closing properly. The workers arrived on the day they promised and the re-work on the gates was done satisfactorilly. The problem with the pickets resulted in us re-negotiating the contract for a lower price and an additional year of warranty on their work (I have 2 years instead of their usual 1 year). Their price was average among the 4 I had for this project, most of the workmanship was barely average to way below average in my opinion. I am concerned with the quality of the fence and posts and hope that I have 2 years of good response, support, and workmanship from AAA Fence Pros. Update Aug 2012: Had 2 issues with the fence (post holes from old posts needed to be filled in with more dirt and one of the gates would not open correctly). Post hole problem was from the workers not properly filling the post holes when the old posts were removed. Sent email to Mr. Huerta asking for repairs. Within a week both problems were corrected satisfactorily. Well done, and I hope this type of response continues.

ONLY complaint I have is w/myself! Forgot to tell Rey I got his name from Angie so hoping to get my 5% discount...if not, not his fault. Back neighbor & I went together to replace an old Texas wire fence separating our two yards. Neighbor has lived here forever & wanted wrought iron to keep open view to trees/shrubs. We wanted privacy cedar (mainly because rest of our fence is cedar). So, we got three bids for both. We insisted, however, the iron fence have cedar posts at 8' intervals (instead of iron posts) to get some tie in to rest of fence. Of three bids, Rey was in the middle...but I liked his responsiveness! And, we decided to go with the iron. Long story short: started all first week of May...end of May we've got a beautiful fence. The posts are expensive ($100+ per) but they are a tremendous contrast to the iron. This was NOT an easy job. Digging was into nothing but rock...and we had at least three large trees that fell right on our property line. Rey's team just did an incredible job. We're delighted and our neighbor plans to use AAA to finish the rest of their yard in same fashion. Only want to add: this was our third time finding contractors from Angie's list &, quite frankly, was barely satisfied with other two, including a $40K landscaping job and $2K tree trimming service. AAA fencing restored my confidence!

It took them one day for the teardown/install and their job was second to none.

We had gotten another bid and were going to go through with it but the person would never return our calls so I called Rey. He came the next day and gave a quote and the work was done right away. We got 45 feet of fencing put in including two gates, plus the iron fence removed and hauled away. They even trimmed all the shrubs to do the work. It took a little over four hours. Overall, the fence looks great! They used treated posts and wide pickets with three cross braces instead of two like some fences. The only thing I wish is that they would have used screws instead of nails, but this is hindsight and I'm sure had I asked they would of. Rey is very professional and his crew is respectful and efficient.

The men of AAA Fence Pros did a great job on the fence work I required,they were pro fessional,polite. I would highly recommend them.

This company was the last of several I met with to get estimates for installing a new cedar fence and gates. So by the time I met with Rey Huerta I had an idea of what would be a fair price for the work I needed done. (One company was more than double what the others were quoting! Three, including this one, were in the same ball park, and one was a little lower. ) Rey was courteous and professional on the phone and in person. He was also punctual which I appreciated. Rey's price came in comparable to some of the other quotes I already had. Which was reasonable. The reason we chose to go with AAA Fence Pros is because I was impressed with Rey's pride in his company and the work they do. He was also quick to point out that he was on Angie's List and that he had a coupon, etc. When I asked him how much money he needed to start the job he said none would be necessary and that he would collect payment upon completion of the work. That speaks volumes to me as a customer and I knew that we were hiring a good company and wouldn't have to worry about getting the job done right. We scheduled them to come in on a Friday, but they had a cancellation and were able to come sooner on a Wednesday instead, which was even better. His crew showed up on time. They were all courteous, professional, efficient and polite. They worked quickly and before we knew it our fence was up. The crew cleaned up after themselves and did not leave any kind of mess behind. I was also impressed with the fact that they were careful about working around existing plants next to the fence they were putting up. There was no damage. My husband and I are very pleased with our new fence and gates and will definitely be lifelong customers. We will also be recommending AAA Fence Pros to friends and neighbors when asked.

I have to commend the owner Rey Huerta. In the beginning my wife and I could not agree on what type of fence and how much fence we wanted. This required Rey to make three separate trips to give us three separate estimates. My wife and I came to a compromise and scheduled the work to be done. We were delayed by a couple of days as we had to wait on the Companies who represented the various Utilities to come out and mark their lines and pipes. Day one was to remove the old fence and set the new posts. Day two was to install the new fence. We experienced a lot of moisture during that couple of days so we decided to wait a few more days to allow the wood to be completely dry before applying the sealant. Rey Huerta is a very personable person who conducted himself in a professional manner throughout the process. He had plenty of pictures of his past works on his website. While trying to decide on a sealant Rey gave us a couple of fences to go look at. Another reason we chose his services was because of the type of metal posts he uses. We knew from the beginning we wanted metal posts and Rey uses a metal post that is not a round post, is of a stronger material but yet can be incorporated into the design of the fence and you would not know it was there unless pointed out. It made such a difference in the final appearance of the fence. Upon completion of the fence Rey had us walk the fence and inspect in case we had any concerns or issues. The overall experience was great. We received a great product for our work and we are the envy of the neighborhood.

Mr. Rey Huerta responded promptly to our request for an estimate to replace our entire back fence and gave us a detailed breakdown of costs. He described the options we would have (width, etc.) and answered questions patiently. He and his crew had to complete our fence replacement in two visits since we were having other work done and one of our neighbors wanted the back fence done sooner, rather than later. Mr. Huerta was very accommodating and returned the second time to replace our side fences and our short "front" fence & gate. They did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly and took away all of our old fencing for us. We are extremely happy with how the fence looks. We will definitely recommend Mr. Huerta's AAA Fence Pros to our friends and neighbors.
