AAA Fence Pros

In a word: 'superbly'. AAA was on time, had the plans ready to go, performed the teardown/construction in a workman-like and professional manner. There is nothing bad about the experience or the crew/company. An absolute pleasure to do business with.

The evening before the work was done, Mr Huerta called to ask us to ask our neighbors to let our neighbors know that the fence would be down for only one day. He also told us that because of the bad weather that had been forecast, he would send two crews to complete the work. The crews arrived on time to replace our fence and the next door neighbor's fence. In less than three hours, both fences had been taken down and hauled away. Both fences were completely replaced in approximately eight hours. The crew and the supervisor were extremely polite and took care to not damage plants, patio furniture, etc. That evening Mr. Huerta called to inquire how the job had been done. We told him that we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the material and the work his crew had done. The next day, he came to our home to inspect the work his crew had done and to ask if we had any questions or concerns about the work. Only after he had been assured that we are satisfied and pleased with the work did he accept payment. When asked for a recommendation for a sealer, he gave us information on the one that he uses. He even emailed us a picture of the can's label.

It went great overall, though they got a later start than expected and the work took a day longer than expected.

Top notch from start to finish. Professional. Efficient. Polite. Reliable Hard working. Took care of everything promised. Easy to work with. Fence is gorgeous. Wood that was used was nicer quality than what was replaced, which was standard new house contractor budget wood. Especially liked the depth of holes that were dug in order to sink posts in firmly in plenty of cement. Don't expect them to lean anytime soon even with all the ground shifting we get here. Added on boards along the bottom per my request to absorb the abuse that comes from grass trimmers at a reasonable added cost. Crew was honest, respectful, and very, very efficient workers. Everything cleaned up nicely and now my fence is the prettiest one around, thanks to AAA!

Rey Huerta and his crew are friendly, professional, and very good at what they do. The design of our two gates is pleasing, and the workmanship is excellent. The project was completed on time (actually, a bit ahead of schedule), and the cost was, we felt, reasonable and comparable to what another contractor would have charged. We recommend AAA Fence Pros highly.

This company was very professional with very competitive pricing compared to other estimates that I had. They were on time each day of the project and Mr. Huerta kept me informed on each day of the project with morning status updates and any changes that occurred throughout the project. Before the project began Mr. Huerta spent a couple hours taking my wife and I to various projects they had completed and explained each, and their pros and cons, with recommendations for our project. The workmanship and quality of the product sold is second to none. Each piece was thoroughly inspected by the technicians before they were used, with flawed pickets, etc. taken out of service. The company used steel posts to secure the gates for a stronger and more lasting product instead of just wood posts. In addition, quality parts for the hinges, etc. for the gates were installed using a three hinge installment instead of two. The installing technicians were very proud of their work and took great attention to detail before, during and after each days work, to make sure the product was solid and strong and that the work area was cleaned each day prior to departing the area. They stained the fence with a cedar stain, and a few days of cure and wasn't applied until weather conditions were conducive to do the application, and the overspray was to a minimum of none of all . To date I have not found any problems with the project. AAA Fence Pros is a quality company that backsup their advertising in sales, pricing, worksmanship and friendly professionalism. I would recommend this company to anyone above the other estimates and companies I contacted.

Job was done in exactly the time frame promised by Fred, and the gates themselves look great. After a few days, one of the gates had settled and the gate would no longer close. I called Fred and he had his guys come out and fix it within 48 hours. Great service, great value. Will definitely use again when we end up replacing the rest of our fence.

Unprofessional. Scheduled an appointment but didn't show up. I just flat don't understand that mentality. Can't imagine there's much integrity to their warranties, they certainly don't display any integrity when it comes to professional courtesy.

Of all the types of contractors I?ve had to deal with, roofers have been the most difficult. Fencers are next. However, I?ve had nothing but great experiences with AAA Fence Pros. I?ve had them install new fences and perform fence repairs on two houses over the last few years. Rey and his team have always been extremely professional, diligent, responsive, and their work has been of the highest quality. They return my calls and their prices have always been fair. I give them my highest commendation.

From the initial phone call to Rey, then subsequent conversations and texts with Fred, this company is top notch. Between my boyfriend and I, we?ve owned and rehabbed six houses in Austin, Dallas and Houston. In that time, we?ve used at least 30 contractors of varying skill, price and efficiency. I?ve never encountered a faster, more efficient and courteous experience than AAA Fence Pros. You get what you pay for. Pay for quality and you?ll get it. Fred Huerta met with us and shared different options at different price points. AAA Fence Pros put up a beautiful cedar fence with metal posts and a side front fence and enclosed our car port with cedar. It looks incredible. And they DID IT IN ONE DAY. In this day and age of companies that get over and hustle consumers, speed and quality are things that almost never occur in one transaction. They did such an amazing job at a great price point that our neighbors got their fence done too. AAA Fence Pros are Texas family owned and they are as good as it gets.

Rey Huerta (owner) is a personable young men. He arrived at our home on time, took measurements and made sure we were on the same page. He promised a quote the next day, and didn't disappoint. He quote was middle of the road. We agreed on a day the following week, but, were delayed 2 days due to rain! They finished another job about mid-afternoon on Friday and Rey called to ask if his crew could come by right then. My husband removed the cedar fencing, but Rey insisted that his men remove the posts to make sure the post holes were the right depth, radius and location. They cemented the posts in on Friday afternoon and came back to install the fence and gate early Saturday morning. They did a great job and we really like Rey and his workers. I would recommend AAA Fence Pros to my neighbors and we plan to use them again or our side yard. The previous owners had another fence company to install the iron fence across the backyard. We called that company, their salesman quoted us a price over the phone and then never followed up. I did speak to that company's manager and found out the salespeople are on commission and the installers are outside contractors and not company employees. AAA Fence Pros is owned by Rey. It is a small local business. Workers/installers are employees of Rey's.

I reached out to a couple of fencing companies I found here on Angie's list. This is the second time I have used Angie's List. Last year I needed to make a very expensive A/C purchase and signed up to make sure I was getting the best reviews. I had very good luck and decided to use them again for my fence project. I spoke to another company listed here first...TNT Fence. I spoke to the gentleman on the phone and he asked me to send photos of my project. I also then went ahead and emailed the same photos to Rey at AAA Fence Pros. Rey got back to me right away. The other guy...never heard back from him. Not professional. Rey was very responsive. We discussed my photos and then he was out within a day or so to give me an official quote. We had received some quotes a year ago and Rey's pricing was much more attractive. We liked his ideas on how to build the fence and we had AAA Fence out within a week to do the work. The workers that came out were very professional and they did an awesome job. We are very happy with the work done. We still want to replace the rest of the fence at another time and AAA Fence is the company we will call to do the work. Very professional and responsive.... we highly recommend and plan on telling our neighbors if they need a fencing company.

Rey's team was neat, dependable, on time, and performed quality work.

The fence is beautiful, my neighbors even came out to compliment. They team started early, expected finish at 1500hrs. I cam home on my lunch break to check and they were already finished. The crew cleaned up the fence line, better than what I left for them to work with. Very efficeint, very professional, comparable in price, but the quality exceeded my expectations. The company also worked with me for financing and since we had bulk pickup scheduled in my neighborhood, they discounted some cost and utilized the city service. That helped me considerably. This company works like a family owned business. They take pride in the work and really went out of their way to ensure I was pleased with the job done. Good Job! I recommend them 100%.

From the initial contact thru the completion of the job, Fred was very professional and his crew did excellent job. I had contacted AAA Fence to construct a fence at the back of my yard that backs up to a green belt. I showed a couple of pictures of what I had in mind and they did a great job of building a great looking fence and custom gate. When the new 6 ft. fence did not keep my Houdini dog contained, Fred came up with a couple of suggestions to modify the fence. I eventually went in a different direction, but greatly appreciated the effort Fred put in to assist with my predicament. I had recommended AAA Fence to my Mother, but unfortunately she already had an agreement with another party. I will recommend AAA Fence and Fred to everyone I know who needs fence work! I wish all my experiences with contractors went as good as this one did.

As a contractor and investor I often find myself in areas outside the reach of my normal sub-contractors and resources. That was the case with the property in San Antonio. I had initially been referred to another fence builder by a local builder but the communications were poor and the price was out of budget so I turned to Angie's List as I often do in these situations. I deal with a lot of contractors and my experience with Rey was stellar. From the original appointment to the completion of the work he and his crew delivered. Professional communications and competitive pricing. They are so good that I'm hoping to have them build another 300' of fence. They have truly earned the name AAA.

Rey made the estimate at the appointed time and completed the work on a house that I own that is rented to a long-time tenant.. The tenant texted me pictures and commented that they did an awesome job, very professional.. He was very pleased and so am I.

Overall we are very happy with the installation, quality and style of our fence. In the end, we feel a bit overcharged (even with the $150 ?discount?) and somewhat dissatisfied with the customer service of the sales staff. Areas that we appreciated: 1.Quality of the fence. Very sturdy and good looking. The wood fence posts are heavy gauge metal and are concealed by wood slats. 2. Quality of the installation crew. They did a great job. They answered all my questions and dealt with any concerns immediately. Very professional crew. We even treated all of them to lunch one day and some snacks the second day. 3. Friendly and responsive staff. Some areas of frustration: 1. We felt we were overcharged for the brush clearing along the wooded sections of our property. We addressed the issues at least three times total before and after the installation. We even presented numbers to them regarding the number of crew and hours it took to remove the brush. 4 crew-members took just under 4 hours and the cost was $1500. $94/hr per crew-member doesn?t seem reasonable. They told us we could hire a cheaper crew to remove it. I?m sure we could have, but it would have been more effort on our part and getting the correct property line cleared so they fence could be installed would have needed to be coordinated. They said in the estimate stage, if they could use the bobcat it would save money. They brought it and used it and our cost was still the same. 2. Our original estimate was to box in only a portion of the property. We later changed it and asked them to revise the estimate to box in the entire property. From that point the estimate changed 3 times with reasons like, ?I made a mistake measuring? and "I forgot to include the portions of fence where the gate will be installed." Those unexpected price jumps totaled over $2,000. Just before installation, I made them commit that my bill would not change anymore and they gave me their promise. In the end, the mis-measurement came back again and they didn?t try to charge us extra but instead said that would be a discount to our bill. 3. We were a bit frustrated at all the plastic wood tags from the fence planks that were laying in the yard. They have staples in them as well. With 4 small children and a dog, we would have preferred a little more diligence in this area. 4. The discussion of gate locks never came up prior to installation and after the installation we realized we didn?t like what was installed. We addressed it and all we got were excuses of why the locks/clasps couldn?t be changed even though they can be. There was no attempt to show us different designs or make any adjustments.

I worked with Fred Huerta on the replacement of my fence. I pretty much loved everything about this company. The day that Fred came out to give me an estimate, it was a Saturday morning. He was able to accommodate my schedule which was great. He came out and as we discussed what I would like to do, he was very thorough in explaining the process of the job, the timeline, and the materials they would use to give me the best quality fence. He told me it would take a couple of days to put together a price proposal, he got it to me by Monday afternoon. He was then quick to reply with follow up questions about the work that would be done and pricing. I did get another quote that was a bit lower, but went with AAA anyway because they seemed to be much more professional. He kept me updated as we were getting closer to the date of work. When the guys came out, they worked quickly and were very polite. The fence looks great.

The workers were on time, very respectful and did a great job. Upon inspection of the job there was one area of the fence that showed to the outside which I wanted to be covered. They went and got additional material to complete the job the way I asked and finished it all in one day. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have fence work done.

Fred was very responsive and worked within our schedule constraints. We had a work stoppage (caused by us), and he worked his schedule so we wouldn't have to wait to finish the job. The fence is stronger than before, he and his crew were prompt and professional, and did an excellent job cleaning up. They went above and beyond what any contractor we've hired before. I wish they did more than fences so I could hire them for other projects.

Great service and quality product. The team arrived on time and finished in one day. The area was picked up and looked great after the fence was installed.

Everything went well from quote to finish. Workers arrived timely, took down approximately 130 feet of fence that was in terrible shape and replaced with better 3 rail cedar fence and new posts. All done in 1 day and besides the new fence, you couldn't tell anyone had been there - everything cleaned up and nothing broken or messed up.
