They never accessed the true problem but kept charging me call fees. When they repaired one thing it was done wrong and it shorted out everything. They came and repaired that short and it worked for a brief day or two and they had to come a third time...this time they said it was the air handler in the attic and they attempted to repair but stated needing more parts. While the worker was in the attic, he missed his footing and came in partially through my ceiling and again through the side of the attic stairs (here he went clean through with his leg) and he came down and tried to say that all was okay until I showed him the damage. I made him sign a statement of what he did and he stated that his company would pay for the repair of my ceiling in the hall of my home and the ceiling in the garage by the attic stairs. After calling Choice Home about the damages they stated that it was not their responsibility and that I had to go to the company they had sent (AirMax Inc) to get them to pay....many calls to AirMax Inc and they as well did not want to pay and then stated that the air handler had to be replaced so they were not going to do it or come and make the repairs to the ceiling either then Choice Home stated that they were not going to replace or repair the air handler either and offered me $250.00 for the air handler. Choice Home is a monkey operation...even when I tried to apeal my claim there was a mess....it was really courious to say the least that the same named people that are call reps, their supervisor and the arbritration with the escalated claim are all one and the same people so essentially I would never win (neither will anyone else). On top of the $3500.00 I had to spend to get the A/C fixed and the airhandler replaced, it cost me an additional $1,700.00 to have the ceilings repaired.
Description of Work: one of the A/C went out and after the third time stated it was the air handler in the attic. The first time they said it was something on the A/C that burnt out and they replaced it. The second time the part they replaced was not put in properly and shorted/burnt out so they had to fix that and all else that it damaged on the A/C. Third time they went into the attic and repaired partially the air handler and had to order additional parts...to return at a later date...never did.

They gave me a deal where they charge me $320 a month and then they are giving me a month free. It's a good deal and their service calls are only $45. I haven't had to have them come out yet, but they are very responsive I get and email or they call me back within 5 minutes.
Description of Work: I have my home warranty through Choice Homes.
