Window Gang Austin

This provider provided service "well above expectations". He arrived exactly on the date and time requested after calling ahead to let us know he was inbound. He quickly but thoroughly cleaned all the windows with the appropriate equipment that he brought with him. We have had people clean home windows in the past and this was by far the best service we have ever received. We plan to use them again.

The service person arrived on time and performed the requested work. The driveway and porch looks good. I was slightly disappointed with the power washing. After the technician left, I noticed that the back side of the trim on the eaves hadn't been washed. Also noticed that an area of rust and scale around a drain pipe was not completely removed. The dirty water from the power washing left streaks on my windows and the screens. I brought this to the attention of the technician and he offered to spray off the dirt. I declined the offer because of my own time limitations. I appreciate that he offered.

I wasn't home for the service, but there was no debris on the ground afterward, so I'm happy. It did take a while to get an appointment, but it was very easy.

Went well - left no mess. Was not at home and just curious what they pulled out of vent! Dryer works great now.

Crew arrived on time and quickly got to work. Spent time at the end of the job with me on the inside pointing out any streaks while they were on the outside of the window. It's hard to get everything so I really appreciated them doing this to make sure it was all done correctly.

We had to wait a month for service, but they did a great job when they got there.

They were able to fit me into their schedule right away and the job was done well. Workers were polite and explained what they were doing and answered any questions I had.

It took a long time to get scheduled but it was due in part to all the rain. They did a decent job - it wasn't quite as thorough as I'd have liked. They were responsive.

I bought an "Angie's Big Deal" which included 100 linear feet of gutter cleaning and the removal of roof debris. Evidently this deal did NOT include cleaning up the debris afterwards! They simply blew all the debris, including tree limbs and twigs, off of the roof with a leaf blower and left it on the ground and on my patio for me to clean up afterwards. As they were leaving, I ran out to the truck to ask if the deal included cleaning up the debris. The said no!... but got out and did a cursory "leaf blow" of one side of the house, but not the other three sides. Too bad the "deal" didn't explain that clean-up wasn't included. This job was a very quick and easy $100 for Window Gang, which has left me with a lot of work to do cleaning up after them, including bagging of twigs and limbs strewn on the ground. I don't think I will ever be using Window Gang again.

Evan arrived on time, did a quick estimate on the cost of washing extra windows in addtion to what were covered by the Big Deal. The price was very reasonable. Then he started the work right away. He paid a lot of attention to details meticulously washing each window and screen. My windows became so clean and shiny that my whole house lit up. Window Gang is a top-notch company. They really care about their customers. So far I have used them for both gutter and window cleaning. Will definitely use them again in the future.

They did a good job. I would give them a 4 out of 5. There was a couple of things they could have done differently. They washed the side of the house but I guess they didn't clean up after what was left or at least spray it off to the sidewalk and then off to the grass. I'm guessing that would constitute the patio which they charge extra for. I think it's kind of silly when they do that but you know. I would tell a friend about them.

They arrived a little earlier than the set appointment time, which was perfectly fine. They immediately got to work and were quickly done with the job. The job was done well.

Please note, I had to choose yes to the question of whether services were performed, however, the crew arrived but did not clean my gutters. Purchased gutter cleaning. Not sure what happened, crew arrived but did not clean my gutters. I would recommend being at home to verify that the work has been done. I did receive an email from the owner of this company and he was very professional and apologized for the actions of his crew. Had to request a refund through Angie's list, as this is how refunds are handled for "big deals." Angie's list said they could only give a credit to get another service performed. They said that it was past the time that I could request a refund. The only reason so much time had passed is because this providers schedule was so full, that it took a long time to get a appointment. I was not happy with Angie's list about this and had to contact my credit card company to ask them for help to get a credit on my card. After I told Angie's list I had contacted my credit card company for help, Angie's list agreed to a refund.

I was very happy with their service and would recommend them to others.

There had been so much rain they were very busy, but they managed to fit me in quickly. They arrived on time and did exactly what I needed, and left no mess behind. I would certainly use them again.

Did a good job on the windows and did not make a mess. Very careful of furniture. Worked fast.

The crew arrived on time and explained in details what they were going to do. They did a great job cleaning the gutter. We had some heavy rains this year and our gutter still performs flawlessly. I'll definitely use their services again in the future.

Great. they were very communicative and respectful.

All windows/screens were cleaned just fine. When I fastened all the screen clips, I did find I needed to wipe out the sills a bit more but not a big deal - most the winter gunk was gone. All the rain gutters were cleaned out and they did a good job getting under the gutter screens I have installed. I did need to go and clean up where all the debri was deposited but I expected that so no complaint there. The power washing the front brick entry turned out great and we had no issues with the two of the decks that were to be sprayed off. We did have an issue with the lower main deck. They switched up guys that were running the sprayer and the new guy did not realize they were only spraying off, not power washing the deck. The lead picked up on it after he had done ~ 3 square feet and showed me. At that point, I said go ahead and power wash the rest. So ended up with a stripped deck that I had to follow up and sand/re-stain/seal. Not a huge deal, just had not planned on it. There was an issue I discovered after the job was done and it was the handling of that issue by Greg that prompted me to give them an overall excellent rating. Our big kitchen window is a little challenging to get to. We have mature scrubs that come up to the bottom of it and you have to carefully shimmy between the scrubs and the rock wall to place a short ladder and to do the window. We were sitting at the counter island eating and the guy put his ladder back there and climbed on. I happen to look right when he slipped off and there was a loud thud/bang on the wall. I thought ouch but he was fine. Located in the same area is an outdoor water outlet. A few hours after they were gone, I went to use that hose and noticed a significant drip coming out of the wall. I realized that that big bang was the guy slipping off his ladder and breaking the pipe. I broke out some rock around the pipe on the wall and found the leak, turned off the water, and had my plumber come - after hours emergency call. I called Greg of the Window Gang and he of course apologized for the incident but more importantly, deducted the amount I requested based on the plumber bill, etc. I was most impressed with this and would recommend and use The Window Gang again.

Very professional. Got the job done quickly and gave us tips for how to get better performance from dryer. Unfortunately, the linoleum was torn slightly during the process, but we did not notice it until the next day. My husband fixed it.

They were very easy to schedule, they confirmed the appointment, told me who would be providing the service, and though they were a little late, they did a great job cleaning out the gutters. I need my windows cleaned and would be willing to use them for that service.

We were not available when the crew performed the service. On the other hand, by an overall eye inspection, I think they did pretty well. They cleaned my detach garage gutter perfectly.
