Poorly, from start to finish. I wish I had done my homework. Would have been nice if I was using an Angies List back then.
Description of Work: I hired Pat Hudspeth who I believe is the owner. At the end of the job, there was a huge crack in the pool after they filled with water. Needless to say, I am an unsatisfied customer and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

HORRIBLE! Please do not let this contractor onto your property. He is absolutely one of the most incompetent contractors I have ever encountered. He is devious, too. My wife and I believe that he intentionally attempted to sabotage the polaris sweeper by placing the polaris intake AFTER the chlorinator outlet, thereby subjecting the polaris to pure chlorine gas and effectively destroying it; we watched him do it and waited until we get a competent pool serviceman out to correct the problem; all in all, it cost me an additional $30,000 to fix all that went wrong with the Unique Pool job, for a total of about $73,000.
Description of Work: Contractor agreed to build a 20'x40'x6'(deepest point) gunite pool; construction began almost immediately; when my wife and I noticed that the pool excavation before the gunite application was too shallow by 25%, we immediately called and wrote the contractor who assured us that he would take care of the problem; we again warned him of the insufficient depth of excavation prior to the "gunite shoot day" scheduled in the immediate future; when we returned from a short vacation and went to inspect the gunite application we were extremely dismayed that, despite our repeated written and verbal warnings that the pool was only 42" deep, not the 72" as set out in the contract; the contractor then attempted to convince us that the 72" of depth was measured in some cockamamy calculation that made no sense; we realized too late that this contractor was being, charitably speaking, disingenuous; that was in June, 2008; by November 2008, the absolute end of the swim season, the pool was still incomplete, as the contractor tried to get off without having provided a water-leveling supply to the pool. the waterfall was unfinished, there was no provision made for timers to the pool pumps, he placed the pool equipment in an utterly ridiculous location, he shortchanged us on the relocation of the pool waste drains, and on and on.

It took almost nine months for this company to do the job, and in the end, it wasn't completed because it leaked! After calling them, they haven't come back to repair the damage. They also didn't clean up well after themselves, and instead dumped the refuse over the fence!
Description of Work: A pool of 15' X 30' was installed.
