I called Stellar Plumbing. Someone was sent to my home on June 12, 2017 and looked at the problem. The access to the pump was in my closet. They opened the panel to check, but found that the pump was located to the right of where the panel was. If I wanted them to check further, they would need to make another opening in the closet to access the pump. If they still couldn't reach the pump, they would need to somehow remove a marble panel from the skirt around the tub.. I asked what the charge might be for a new pump and was given an estimate. I couldn't afford the $300 or $500 now so I told them, it would have to wait. They were very courteous and I thanked them for coming out. Their service call was approximately 15-20 minutes and charged $110.00 for looking at the problem.
Description of Work: The jets were not working on my Jacuzzi tub.

Pleasant to work with. Responsive.
Description of Work: Installed pressure reduction valve. Reduced water pressure from 90 to 55 as desired. I excavated the location where the valve was to be installed and Eligio was very fair to me on pricing. Eligio and his team were prompt and followed through to do the job as requested.

He told me I didn't need a permit, I thought great that will save me money! This was not true and I got in trouble with the City. He also illegally bypassed the gas meter in his connections. This is actually stealing gas and highly illegal. I did not know this until I went and met with the head plumbing inspector the next morning. I am not a plumber and I expect when I hire a license technician I am paying him per an hour what I make in a day because of his expertise and ability to advise me on how to do things legally and safely. There have been a total of 14 phone calls and numerous text messages where he has demanded payment immediately. As usual I offered 30% at first and then the rest after inspection. He has unduly yelled at me and harassed me, typical of plumbers who have done something wrong. Even when his illegal work resulted in the gas company turning off my gas to my entire facility (commercial kitchen) I offered payment as soon as he pulled a permit and he fixed the work. I even offered to pay for the permit and $125 for his time to get it. He still refused saying he had other jobs. Of all outrageous behaviour he even had the audacity to call and ask for payment before he went and got a permit. I told him he had two options: 1. Get the permit and make the work legal (about 2 hours of work since the actual repair would take 15 min) and then get paid for his work plus the cost of the permit 2. I would report him to the better business bureau for doing illegal work and misleading customers. He told me he would call his attorney and sue me for non payment. I actually laughed at this because if he sued me he could lose his liscence or be fined up to $5,000 for what he did. He obviously was lying and had no intention of getting his permit or fixing his work because later my cameras show he came and removed the work he did and left everything disconnected, including connections to my old ovens. Because I hired this plumber to tie in my new oven to the gas meter (gas lines had already been installed a year ago) the result is five or more days until gas to my facility can be turned back on the the entire facility (I already had 2 ovens and a stove connected and running fine). Can you imaging a commercial kitchen that provides cooking space to seven companies (large and small) being shut down for five day and the economic impact, not to mention the economic impact to my business of this? I had to hire a new plumber on Friday at 12 noon and then there inspection at 3 did not pass, so this plumber dug up all kinds of problems with the city and my facility and has cost me thousands just in plumbers fees to get someone working at my facility at the last minute and on overtime.
Description of Work: He connected my gas piping to the gas meter.

Will use him now for our commercial and rental properties, and other family member plumbing needs. We have been in business in Austin for 45 years and are still prospering because of good customer service. Eligio ( a master plumber) will do well, and also can deal with medical gasses and installations.
Description of Work: Eligio repaired the shower in our master bath that has been working poorly for several years- and through work of 2 other plumbers who did not fix it correctly. The hot and cold water were not mixing properly, and the single knob control worked sporadically. Another plumber said they would have to cut a hole in the tile, to make the repair and wanted to charge $500. Eligio managed to find a part ( after much effort) and made the repair and everything works perfectly now, and we are so happy not to have to have taken down a wall. He was great about communicating where we were with the process, and he even came out on a Sat ( same day service!!) to check out what needed to be done. Highly recommend.

Eligio came promptly and did a great job. The symptom was wet particle board in the bathroom cabinet. He found the source of the leak in the AC unit next to it. After he cleaned the drain and vacuumed up the water, everything dried out.
Description of Work: Cleaned air conditioner drain to fix water leak.
