I chose Square Cow based on reviews read here and on Yelp. From the initial point of contact, the team was amazing! I had some challenges on the scheduling of my close date, and the Square Cow team were so cooperative and willing to work with me in juggling dates and holding a few for me. That was incredibly helpful. When it finally came down to the move, Wade and Devon showed up on time and immediately started into the work. They were so impressive as a team, and in the 90+ degree heat of an Austin afternoon, crisply moved my furniture and boxes and set them into my new home without any damage whatsoever. This included some very large artwork, a heavy dining room table and other things. They disconnected and reconnected my washer and dryer, and no leaks or problems! They were very gracious about waiting for me to decide where I wanted the larger pieces placed. These guys were courteous, professional, polite and took care of my things. I highly recommend them. You will not be sorry. They definitely raised the bar on the meaning of customer service!!!

Square Cow Moovers was excellent. The two guys moved EVERYTHING--boxes, furniture, an upright piano, and four 55-gallon rainbarrels--out of our old house into the moving truck in just about 3 hours. They made sure to pad all the furniture very well and specifically showed me how they placed the china cabinet and the piano so that they would not be damaged. At the new house, they carried about half of the boxes and furniture upstairs and still managed to be done in about 3 hours. They were pleasant, friendly, courteous, and very professional throughout the move. It was a hot and humid day, but I never heard them complain about the heat (or about the heavy stuff they were moving). We have not found damage to any of our belongings. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them for our next move.

They gave me a 20 percent discount for using them for multiple moves. The service was great and they stayed until they got it done. There were a couple things that were minorly damaged with narrow hallways, but couldn't be avoided. They were very on task with this big move.

Very good moving company. Bryan, Ryan and Cameron were on time, worked hard and very professional. I moved my house along with a custom motorcycle and a dune buggy. They made 2 trips and worked 7 hard hours to complete the move. Overall I am pleased with the move and I would recommend them to friends and family. I spoke with Josh in the office to set up the move. They came out the next day and did a great job.

It went excellent. They were on time and reasonably priced.

They are really efficient. They have good trucks and good equipment. Everything went very well. They charge $100 for 2 movers for an hour.

They didn’t damage anything. They were very pleasant young men who were very polite and showed up on time.

I have moved several times and used all the big name interstate movers. The Square Cow crew was excellent. They were very timely, responsive and communicative - very professional, trustworthy and most importantly took great care with our belongings (and new home) while performing the load and unload with great skill. They even disconnected and reconnected my washer, dryer, fridge and all the bed frames. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My experience started with Josh (very professional) who worked with me to schedule the move and determine what options would be best for my particular situation. He was very helpful in getting all aspects of the move lined up. Emails were sent with information concerning my move and helpful documents on Square Cow Moovers service and moving in general. He called prior to my move to confirm details of my move including date, time and location. Matt and Derrick were my movers and they were great. They were right on time as scheduled, reviewed my move, and asked if I had any questions or requests. Care was taken to wrap my furniture so it would not be damaged in transit. They worked hard getting my things loaded. Upon arrival at the new address, they asked for instruction about where I wanted things placed and again went straight to work. These guys were very professional and took good care of my belongings. Not only would I recommend Square Cow Moovers, I would use their service again!

Updating after the company reached out to me in order to make things right. While I did experience issues with with my move, Square Cow's management sought to make sure I was satisfied in the long term. I have every reason to believe the issues I experienced were related to a personnel problem that has since been resolved. My thanks to Square Cow's leadership for accepting ownership and their willingness to work with me after the fact.

When we found our about the flood, we called our realtor for help. The realtor called Square Cow Moovers, and to their credit they were at our house immediately (late in the day) and moved our furniture to the garage. That part was great. However, when it was time to move everything back into the house, the men they sent were less than professional and I believe one of them was drinking on the job. There was damage to two custom leather chairs, and a lost 'key' for an antique armoire. I tried calling them several times, left messages, and was never contacted by them. So, now I have 2 very expensive chairs ruined, and still haven't found the key. Overall, a very bad experience. I would never recommend them. UPDATE: After submitting my report to Angie's List, I was contacted by one of the owners of Square Cow Moovers. They apologized for the lack of communication, and offered to come to an equitable resolution re:damage to our chairs. While the monetary reimbursement was nowhere near their actual value, it was more than they were required to pay. As a result, I have changed my original rating to a 'B'.

It went very well. They were very efficient and very polite. They seemed skilled about what they were doing. Their office was very easy to work with.

We chose Square Cow based on their stellar online reviews, no hidden fees policy and availability. This was the first time we used professional movers. We got a quote from one other company, but Square Cow didn't have extra fees. They let me know when I signed up that they couldn't guarantee a time for an afternoon move, which was fine with me. Two movers arrived in the late afternoon. They were friendly and efficient in moving all of our furniture and getting to our new home quickly. We really appreciated that since we went with their hourly rates. All of our furniture arrived intact and there were no scratches to the brand new wood floors. They did a great job. After the move I called Square Cow about a billing issue. They were courteous and prompt in addressing the issue. Other movers may have ignored me, but I think Square Cow deserves an A+ for moving our belongings with care and for customer service.

They have been awesome so far, and their prices have been very good.

Very professional, pretty punctual, crew was very good and very professional. We were promised 2 trucks, but 2nd one was late, so the first truck loaded and unloaded twice. Not the crew's fault, just a scheduling/mechanical thing. Overall a very good experience, and they earned their money. I would use them again. They were the lowest price out of 5 bids, but they did not cut the service or cut corners. The whole house was packed by homeowners, so this was a load/umload move, but there were LOTS of heavy pieces and boxes and equipment. I was satisfied with the job and do recommend them.

Square Cow owner Wade Lombard came to our Austin home & looked at what we wanted taken to Northern Calif. The list included 3 antique clocks (one is a large grandfather--all are over 100 years old), some fragile depression- glass stemware.antique oil paintings, old photographs sculptures,cameras, new computers etc. as well as usual household belongings. He gave a firm price at that point (which included insurance--at our request). Few Austin movers, locally owned, have experience moving nationally. There are stories of large moving company chains giving a quote and then increasing the price for final payment. My husband and I consider Square Cow/Wade to be reputable, trustworthy and unusually careful in seeing to it that any/all packing is carefully done and safely delivered & unloaded. The two men: Aellan & Rey who drove the truck (with 26 ft. cargo) were very fast, careful & polite. I enjoyed sharing the day with them as they unpacked everything here in Calif. They were happy to put items where I wanted. In a couple of cases, they even moved some heavy things they'd just unloaded to a different room or even down into the basement. Square Cow pays its employees well (they also pay overtime-which not all movers do) We like to support businesses that treat their employees with respect. What's there not to like about Square Cow Moovers?

These guys are great. We had an awful experience with another moving company and were relieved to find Square Cow Moovers was quick, efficient, careful with our things and very polite. They worked on a day that they normally do not work and treated our items and home with respect. In researching the other movers (unfortunately, after the fact), we found they violated a lot of laws and standards set forth by DMV. The other movers also damaged many of our things. Square Cow Moovers is legitimate and was compliant on the regulations a moving company is supposed to follow.

OK, they're movers! A couple of scratches and a broken handle on a cabinet. other than that, fine.

Square Cow Moovers are the only movers I'll ever use! This family owned business raises the bar on the whole moving experience. I have moved more times than I ever cared to move (due to work, etc.). I had come accustomed to expecting my things to get banged up and broken by the bunch of hooligans the typical moving company always send to man-handle my stuff. In the past I've felt that moving is bad enough...and then the movers show up. This time was completely different. I was so pleased and surprised by how highly professional, careful, and conscientious these guys were. They wrapped my husband's award winning hand carved bed like it was priceless (which it is!). They don't use sub-contractors (no unknown persons handling my items), and that means the same people who packed my stuff, stayed with it from loading to unloading (even cross country). Plus, everything arrived without the slightest damage ? Yay.

They arrived promptly and were very professional. They worked quickly, but carefully, especially when handling my great-grandmother's writing desk. Everything arrived at the new location in good shape. The move was very economical because of their efficiency.
