When you're exhausted and stressed with moving, it's very helpful to have a company that not only does what they promise, but does it all with a smile on their face. Moving is back breaking work, but Square Cow seems to love it.

Someone came out to my house to give me an estimate, and he was courteous and professional. I did have to follow up several times to get an answer to my question about a breakdown in moving a piano and some beds and almost opted to choose another company. I'm glad that I didn't. Tim and Darton, the guys who came to actually help move me, were fantastic. When they found some money I had tucked away under my mattress, they quickly brought it to me in another room. They were polite, hard working, and did a great job. I will call them again when I move the next time.

After initial consult and price bid by phone, i called twice to make further changes to the move. And then, on the scheduled day, the elevator broke in the complex. The guys had to move everything down the stairs, or quite a little walk down to the further elevator which was small and practically half a block away. They handled everything very professionally, didn't let the lack of elevator stop them. packed up our precious articles very carefully, were very pleasant. would highly recommend.

Nic Keep arrived about a day after I first contacted him about a month earlier and did a walk through. He then emailed me a fantastic quote within 24-hours at which point I booked them. At one point I changed the date and there was no resistance or problem. Nic was great and very quick with email responses to any questions I had. On the morning of the move one of the movers called to inform me they were on their way. When they arrived I met them in the driveway where Kervin jumped out of the truck with a huge smile on his face to greet me. Elijah, the lead mover, and Gary also followed. After showing them the ways in and out of the house, Elijah went over the process, I signed the releases and they got to work. These three guys were working quickly, but they wrapped anything that needed to be wrap and took incredible care with all of our stuff. They were incredibly energetic and seemed to be having a fun time doing what they do and it made the whole frustrating process of moving a little more fun for my wife and I. They would take short breaks every so often, moving huge dressers down narrow stairs make those necessary, but they never wasted time. They took great care taken apart furniture that needed to be taken apart and we easily found all of the screws/bolts/nuts/etc. afterward. We were shocked when they announced they were finished. We then met at our new place and after the "getting to know the workspace" tour, they got busy. Again working quickly but safely and carefully. The unload was even faster than the load. When they were unloading I noticed they had taken the time to shrink wrap and/or wrap blankets around some things I didn't even consider necessary, but they wanted to make sure to protect it. Gary put our office desk back together. That was the only piece of furniture they put back together because it was the only piece taken apart we knew for sure where it's final spot would be. Elijah, Gary, and Kervin were tremendous!

It went fine and I didn't have any issues with them. They used their head to solve problems which I was kind of slightly impressed with. I decided to choose them because of the positive responses I read on Angie's List and their price.

They broke about three pieces of furniture. They were unethical to follow directions from my ex-husband. Their job should’ve been just to move my furniture and that was it.

I contacted Square Cow because of their rating. They were super professional and polite, and provided a quick over the phone estimate based on what I told them. Their price was higher than most others, but not the highest. i did not use them due to the price, but was very impressed with them. If I had fragile or higher end things I would definitely consider them and would keep them on my list for an estimate.

Wonderful. Since my husband and I are in our 60's, even after a very long day ,the guys put the beds together for us and made sure all furniture was where we wanted it so we didn't have to move anything ourselves.

I was very happy with Square Cow. We opted to pay them hourly for a three person moving team. Paying them hourly was a smart decision as the crew was more than happy to help us with small things that they probably couldn't do if we were paying them a flat rate (e.g. helping us put a new table together). The crew arrived on time, worked hard, and got everything done in a reasonable amount of time at a fair price. There were a few only minor dings and scratches, and the crew leader pointed these out to us rather than letting us discover them later. (One of the things that bugged me about a previous move with another company is they didn't show us the big hole they put in the wall. They waited for us to discover it.) The only gripe I have (and it's small) is that all of the loaner wardrobe boxes they provided were "short". It would have been helpful to have a couple of the tall wardrobe boxes.

The Square Cow Team was superb. Service was prompt plus they went the extra mile. For example, not only did they move items from the two locations mentioned above but they also helped me consolidate items remaining at the off-site storage from two lockers to one. A second example was the care they took to ensure that no damage occurred to either the items being moved or to my new home.

Overall everything went well. The guys definitely cared about doing a good job and making sure I was happy. There were a few small items broken but they told me about them up front and didn't try to hide it. They also apologized. Overall the move was a good one and I'm happy with the care and speed they moved my items. Thanks to Kyle, Sean H, and Sid!

Expert movers and good communicators. The move started later than scheduled but I was kept updated. Very helpful and careful with possessions.

I used Square Cow to move items from a storage facility to our new house. Everything was fine exept they were unable to make the move on the originally scheduled date.They were able to make the move 2 days later, and worked it out with the storage facility so that I wasn't charged for the extra days.They are good movers, but be sure to get specific dates and times from them.

They were within 1/2 hr of scheduled arrival time. It rained off and on that day and they tracked mud onto carpet of home I moved from. Only 1 of the 4 people knew how to take apart the baby grand and it has new scratches on it. Neither the piano nor the bed were put back together correctly. Should have covered either the carpet or their shoes.

My experience with Square Cow started well, dipped slightly in the middle, and finished strong. I called a number of highly ranked movers to get me into my new home. I was located on the third floor of a one bedroom apartment. I didn't have too much stuff (the regular...couch, two recliners, three dressers, queen bed, 25+ boxes, etc.), but there were some bulky items that I'd rather leave to professionals. The one special request I had was to pay special care to the home's newly installed bamboo floors. I have been working on the place since buying it, and with a handful of service professionals coming and going, I quickly noticed a number of scratches, divots, and indentions due to the softness of the flooring. I passed along this requirement to each mover I discussed with. Square Cow initially said they could accomodate by laying down cardboard. When I finally made the decision to go with them, I spoke to a different gentleman than I had initially discussed the situation with previously. In this, the second, phone call I was told that b/c my job was small and due to their unfamiliarity with bamboo, the risk/reward in performing the move wasn't enough for them to take on the job. Confused and frustrated, I called back again and spoke to the gentleman I originally discussed the situation with. He apologized for speaking prematurely and reiterated the most recent conclusion. I wanted the move done though, so I proposed that I sign off any liability...that was enough for them to agree to the job. During the same call, they maintained that they would take all precautions they could with regard to the floors, i.e. no dollys inside the house, cardboard on the floors. I was nervous in signing off, but they did have good reviews, so... On moving day, the whole process could not have gone more smoothly. The two guys arrived on time, worked hard and never slowed down. No kidding, but on more than one occasion, I joked with them how they did not have to run to pick up each successive load (which they were literally doing). Once we got to the house, things continued on the same course. The truck was unloaded in no more than 20-25 minutes. They put down cardboard on the floors as promised, and did not seem put out to have to carry in each box individually once at the front door (though I imagine it wasn't the easiest method, it was greatly appreciated). Both movers were very personable, even though it was getting on in the afternoon, they had already completed a move, and had another ahead of them. Though not a big gesture, I appreciated them offering congrats on the new place...and appreciated it even more that they came in almost an hour under the estimated overall move time. Never hurts to get a bill for a good deal less money than anticipated. So overall, despite the initial sour impression with the front office, the movers themselves made me glad I stuck with Square Cow. I wouldn't hesistate to use again.

My husband and I were really nervous when we started looking for a moving company. Five years prior, we had used another moving company that was very popular, but they only caused us nightmares. The other company had sent two movers that took all day to pack our 2 bedroom apartment. One of them took NINE hours just to pack our kitchen. So needless to say, we were very scared when we started to look at movers. My husband suggested that I look at Square Cow, because he liked the funky name. Luckily, they also have great reviews. I asked for someone from another moving company and someone from Square Cow to come over on the same day and give us packing and moving estimates. Wade from Square Cow came over first. He was very nice and didn't mind our suspicious cats sniffing at him and following us around. A few hours later the second company came over. They were also very nice and promised to have our estimate to us by the end of the day. We chose Square Cow because not only did they have good reviews, but they were half the cost of the other company! Once we let them know that we wanted to hire them, we set up a date for packing. We asked for packing supplies to be brought to the house since we wanted to do some of the packing ourselves. We had a slight hiccup getting the boxes to the house at the time discussed, but they did get there by that day, so it was no inconvenience. A really neat thing that Square Cow does is they recycle wardrobe boxes. It does mean that you don't get them until the day of the move, but as long as you return them to the movers on the day of the move, you don't have to pay for them! Seeing that they're pretty expensive boxes, this is a very nice service to offer. Also, every single person that we talked to on the phone was very nice. It was really good to be dealing with a group of people who care about their business. We had the packers come on 11/14/12 and the movers come on 11/16/12. We quickly showed the movers around and then we agreed to the time they had started and off they went. They couldn't believe that the other company had taken all day. They started work by 9 a.m. and were finished by noon. I believe their names were Travis and Freddie and they were very polite and professional. On moving day David and Todd showed up right on time and very quickly got to work. They did an amazing job! They took about six hours total to get us from our rental to our new house. And even though the work is hard, David and Todd remained really upbeat and nice! I'm really not a fan of moving, but Square Cow made it super easy and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Brian and Justin arrived on time and right away began moving items into the truck. They were very careful with the boxes marked fragile and did an excellent job with the furniture. They were very professional and worked right through lunch. I have nothing but praises for Square Cow from beginning to end. The best thing about this company is the hourly rate: $105 for two guys. We were packing and figuring out what was coming and what was going to Goodwill right up until they arrived (and a little after they arrived). It was good to know that there wasn't going to be a guy "checking items off a list" and charging me for the inevitable items I missed (or mislabeled on the inventory sheet). Brian and Justin actually finished an hour earlier than my 7.5 hour estimate, so I ended up paying less than I anticipated.

As always, they showed up on time on the 1st day and packed everything in the house. The next day the moving crew finished anything that was left, packed, moved and unloaded the truck at the new house. They stayed as long as it took to finish the work the same day they started it. I think they finally left around 11PM. They are always on time and take great care of our property. However, I think what separates them from the competition is the customer service. The owner of the company should write a book on the subject. You will never hear a sentence finished without the words "Yes Sir". I'm not sure how the owner teaches this but the word "No" is never used. I have never tried this personally but I'm pretty sure if I asked one of them to make me a cup of coffee or go grocery shopping they would just say "Yes". They really are the most polite and courteous employees I have ever come across in any business. I would feel comfortable recommending them anyone.

Overall this was a great moving company. Probably the best we've had over the years. Kenny came out to give us an estimate and determine availability for our preferred move date. He worked hard to find availability for our timeline. In addition, the movers were great. The following help Square Cow Moovers to stand out over other moving experiences we have had in the past:1. Local company with their own drivers and loaders (no one was brought 'off the street' or subcontracted to do the work)2. Our items were not put on a truck that is shared with anyone else3. They arrived on time, loaded our items, got in the truck, drove straight to our location and unloaded (truck and drivers don't change)4. The driver gave us his cell phone number and throughout the move gave status updates of his location and estimated time of arrival5. Drivers were courteous, professional and always willing to listen to any requests we had6. There were never any comments about additional needs that came up during the move (no hidden costs)7. Loaders took time to carefully load items rather then rushing to load/unload and risk damage They are more expensive than the other moving companies we looked at, but this extra cost is worth the quality and hassle-free moving experience. We would definitely recommend and use this company again.

They gave an estimate, were accommodating when we needed to reschedule, came on time, were efficient and came in on the original estimate. The crew was very polite and easy to talk to. Dealing them them was a relief compared to all the other complications that have occurred during our move!

Overall, Square Cow Movers were great =) From the moment I contacted them (I think it was Ryan I spoke with) and the moment they finished unloading our belongings, it was smooooooth~ After all of the other headaches I had with this big move into the house, the only thing I didn't end up worrying about what if something was damaged and mishandled. Cameron C. and Tyrone were very professional, polite, courteous, and diligent. There was no dilly dallying but just a great attitude. I was 110% satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend Square Cow Movers to anyone =)
