MORGAN EXTERIORS

Buyer Beware: It went VERY badly! Tim Morgan's crew -Used rotting (delaminating) plywood for the ceiling, -Patio cover roof leaks, -There is a fist-sized gap in the fascia where wrong-sized board was used, -Shingles at peak of roof peak stick up 3" into the air from rest of roof, -Only 1 of 2 fans are installed and ability to turn fans on/off (wall controls) "will cost extra", -Work crew broke a water pipe and tried to disguise damage rather than report/fix it, and -Cement steps are uneven and discolored with several layers/types of cement all thrown together with no tuckwork to conceal forms used or rocks in the cement. To help Angie List readers, I'll give more details about "breaking a water pipe" above: While driving stakes for the cement forms, Tim's crew broke an underground water sprinkler pipe. Instead of telling me of the damage and, of course fixing it, they packed dirt tightly around the broken pipe, dug a trench to drain off the standing water, and then, quite literally, covered up the problem. However, within a few days my family noticed the constantly-wet patch of dirt. As we began using our hands to remove the wet dirt, we became soaked with water as the wet dirt holding the 2 broken ends of the pipe near each other was removed and the broken sprinkler pipe GUSHED water all over us. I ask Tim Morgan to fix these many problems, and his eventual reply was that he'd rather withdraw from the contract and go on other other work and let us find some other contractor to fix/finish the work (i.e. The remaining money we owed him was not enough incentive to fix/finish the job he contracted to do). I would gladly attach photos to this review to show these problems and to help other homeowners avoid using Morgan Exteriors if they want to use our experience to inform their decision whether to use Tim Morgan's "Morgan Exteriors".

They gave us a competitive quote. They did a good job. It was exactly what we wanted. It is Nicol constructed. They were very professional and polite. They cleaned up after themselves.
