It went great. He was very friendly and courteous and installed the light fixture quickly. We used the extra time toward another project. I bought 2 faucets and he installed them and also did a great job on that. I had him come over the next month and paint my living room walls and trim and repair a piece of trim in the kitchen. I would highly recommend Louis!

Sounds simple enough but the new window was not installed correctly and Louis framed it so that it not only appears correctly installed but looks really good. My wife thought we should take it out and have it reinstalled but after Louis finished the frame out, she was really tickled that it turned out so good. And, Louis jumped right in with a can-do attitude - I really appreciate that. Very happy with the work.

Louis arrived and we went over a list I had made. He got to work right away and had me check his progress through out the day to make sure I was satisfied with his repairs. He did a lot of repairs for the one day (eight hours) of service I paid for. Louis was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend him and would use him again. Very good bargain for the work performed.

Louis is a solid citizen and a real good guy to work with. Although neither of us together could figure out how to install the timer electrical switches for a single pole light switch, his major strength is in carpentry works. The doors he modified look very professional. When the cabinet came out of the box with a cracked mirror, he accompanied me to Home Depot, we picked up a new one, he recommended other materials for future DIY projects I had, and he stayed until the evening as we tackled the rest of the house projects we both originally agreed we'd finish together. A gentleman and a scholar Louis is.

Overall all went well. There were a few items on the list that he mentioned he could not do. We had plenty of things so we will use someone else for those items.

He prepared the stairwell for painting, taping and covered the carpet Did a great job. He made several measurements to hang the stone fixtures and had me approve the lay out. He was fast and courteous.

Louis showed up on time and completely prepared to do the job. We communicated a few times through email and I sent him a picture of the door so he could see exactly what the problem was. He worked very quickly and clearly explained to me the reason behind how he fixed our door, and also gave some advice on what to do if any other issues came up. We would definitely use him again.

He was on time, very conscientious of his work. Went above and exceedingly above with great pride in all he did. I greatly appreciated his attitude.

I was very pleased with Louis' work. He definitely knew what he was doing and had all the right tools. He was clean and detail oriented. The two small jobs had been needing to be done for a while and he got it right the first time!

Great Communication before our scheduled appointment, provided the exterior door prices from different vendors along with recommendations. He did an excellent job with the door installation. He answered all our questions we had during the job, provided recommendations and left the area extremely clean after he was complete with the installation. The new door was fitted perfectly, seal is tight and his installation was better than the original door installation done when the house was built. Would highly recommend to anyone, extremely friendly, experienced and professional. Will definitely call again for future projects.

I had an existing attic hole in my garage but have always wanted a attic ladder so I hired the LH Company to do this work. Louis called before the scheduled date and help me identify exactly what I needed to pick up from Home Depot for this job so that I had everything ready for his arrival. Louis arrived on time and was a pleasure to interact with the entire time of the project. He successfully cut out the attic ceiling to support this brand new attic ladder and installed the ladder by himself while finishing up with all new molding. The new attic ladder looks like it came with the house. Louis is super knowledgable and a pleasure to work with.

My complaint is that this provider needs to change the service area on Angie's List and their website. I called on a Thursday, leaving my location, and got a call back that evening that I missed. There was no message left. I called back on Monday and the phone was picked up right away. I was told that they've been too busy in Cedar Park and that driving to my area was too much time on the road for them. This is fine, but I made sure that I was in the service area map before I called (North Austin area), and I double-checked again when I got off the phone. They need to update their web info, and leaving voice mails would also be good (I know it's possible that they tried but failed to leave a voice mail).

Louis was great! He helped me make sure I had purchased the correct size door (even measured my dog) - was very patient and did not charge for all the preliminary work. The job was done flawlessly even though he had to cut through two studs and build a frame around the door. Great job and great company. Very responsive and would use again and recommend without any hesitation!

This was our first experience using Angie's List. Mr. Louis at LH Company was easy to talk to, knowledgeable of the job and wasted no time getting set up and getting to work. We were very pleased, and we asked him for bids on some future planned home maintenance improvements.

He was very honest about the few things he would not be able to work on, due to them being out of his specialty. He professionally completed all of the work I requested. He was very meticulous and did a very professional job. I am always leery about new contractors, etc.; but, am very pleased with his work. His prices are very reasonable; and the quality of his work far exceeds the price you pay. Update: Second service performed...truly a pleasure. Louis did a phenomenal job. You can tell by the time that he puts into the most tedious of tasks that he is truly vested in what he does. The overall outcome exemplifies the pride that he takes in doing what he does...EXCEPTIONAL! He is definitely on our list of Go-To contractors.

L. H. is Louis Huggins. I found him on Angie's List and took advantage of a 4-hour special offer. The job was not a very complicated one. It involved disconnecting the disposer and lines from the existing sink, removing that sink, putting in the new sink and reconnecting the disposer and lines. He simplified the drain line assembly under the sink so we have more storage room than we had before. Louis showed up right on time at 9am. He worked straight through to lunchtime, took a short lunch break, and finished up the job shortly after. He kept the work area neat while he worked and left the kitchen the same way when he was finished. We felt very comfortable having him in the house and are pleased with the job he did.

He was more than accommodating when it came to scheduling. I explained to him that I was on a tight timeline and he was able to move some things around and accommodate me on my desired date. He was exceptionally friendly, bright, and very helpful. I didn't expect to need to have drywall work done at all. It wasn't until he took the mirror off and we saw that the people that installed it literally glued it to the wall and once removed took the dry wall with it. He ran home and grabbed his texture hopper and fixed it right up. He really saved my a** and I can't thank him enough for it.

From the moment I met Louis for an estimate I knew he was the repair guy I wanted to use. He was professional and honest about what needed to be done. Since I was having to get the furniture delivery company as well as the furniture store involved, it was a headache getting a time scheduled to get the work done.
