Response to my purchase was almost immediate and arrival was punctual. The owner is a very fast worker and completed a great deal of tasks in a very short period of time. Overall I was very pleased with the his work can recommend him unreservedly.

Was great. I picked LH because of his existing excellent reviews and they were right! LH was on time, on budget, deliberate, accurate and flexible. He is really making my house look great again and I am looking forward to continuing to work with LH.

Louis was great. He got the work done in the time he estimated and it was all done like you would expect from a professional. We love the new attic ladder and the bathroom cabinet looks amazing. Even the patch up work he did in the game room, with the hole that was once there, is like the hole never happened. Would highly recommend him to others, for any handyman job around the home.

Louis is personable, diligent, and vested in quality work. He knows his business and his good advice kept me from using the wrong caulk on my siding. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

He arrived on time, bought all the required materials from home dept, was very professional throughout. He only took a short break in between for lunch and completed all the tasks on time. Highly recommend him for any type of handyman job.

Punctuality: Louis showed up on time, he was scheduled to be at my home at 9 AM, and he was there at 9 AM ready to start. He worked for a full 8 hours. He had good suggestions on how to take care of the projects. He bought all the materials needed for getting the projects done (charged the cost of materials to me separately). He was very accommodating when I had to reschedule him two times. He worked out his schedule and accommodated me. He was very friendly and nice to work with. He did a quality work from what I can tell and left the work areas fairly clean when he left. I would be happy to hire him again if there is a need but the Angie's list deal wasn't really much of a saver though.

Louis installed a door and lockset for us. The installation of the door was ok, but the lockset was another story. He installed the handle incorrectly, so it was facing the wrong way, he claimed it was the lock manufacturers fault. And it was beyond his pay grade to fix that. I then noticed that he had taken a part from another lockset we had and the inside and outside trim were not the even the same. After using the lock twice the entire lock fell out of the door. Also two additional locksets were ruined because parts were missing. Never would use again!

He did a great job and was very nice to work with. He re-hung some of our blinds, adjusted some exterior doors, did some touch-up painting, hung a large picture, removed a bunch of old screens, installed a couple of locking door handles, did some caulking around door frames and baseboards and other miscellaneous tasks.

I somehow had put in the wrong address to begin with. He waited over 40 minutes at my old place. He was very nice and did an excellent job of putting everything up. I would recommend him to anyone and will be using him again in the future.

He was very nice and forthcoming ahead of time about his limitations (there were several other tasks that I wanted a handyman to perform, however he did not feel comfortable doing many of them). He also was very professional and well meaning. He broke one of my outdoor faucet timers, but he mailed me a check for the cost of the timer so I could replace it. Maybe I had too high of expectations, but I had high hopes for how much could get done in 8 hrs with the Angie's List deal. However, it took him the full 8 hrs to install 2 light fixtures, 1 TV antenna, and an outdoor faucet timer. The TV antenna was in an awkward place in my attic... but it took a lot longer than I would have expected for him to do this. The light fixtures were installed fine, but when I asked him to touch up paint the ceiling around the one in the living room to match the new color I painted recently, he also painted around the one in the kitchen. Well meaning and honest mistake, but I am not planning on painting the ceiling in the kitchen yet (and may use a different paint). So I have a patch of ceiling that is a different color than the rest. When sanding the 2 pieces of wood, he also broke a tile I had on top of a cement block that helped support the wood (for a bench I made out of wood and cinder blocks). The tile was free, a throw away piece from a friend, and he glued it back together - but the glue added a sliver of height to the pile now so the wood doesn't lay perfectly flat anymore. Overall, he was worth what I paid him, but that's only because of how much of a discount I had with the Angie's List deal. He was very nice, professional, and upstanding. If you use him, expect a pleasant encounter with someone who is honest, will make good if he messes up, but unfortunately may not meet expectations with quality/speed of service.

The rating box above shows how great Louis was in all those areas. Plus he is a really nice guy and easy to get along with, which is always a bonus when someone is working in your house. We've already scheduled another days' work for March.

Louis showed up on time and immediately accessed the damage. He clearly went over all things that needed completed. After inspecting the old trim he informed this trim may be hard to find. To get the matching trim Louis drove all the way to Cedar Park from my house in North Austin. To save time he even ate his lunch while driving to get the materials. After getting all the materials he worked late to finish the job. Never did he complain or say that cant be done, always had a positive attitude. This was my first experience hiring a handyman and it went very well.

Purchased and 8hr package and he was here for 8 hrs, don't think he took a break while working on the 3 doors. Would hire him anytime. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Louis properly repaired the staircase and made sure that everything was in acceptable condition before he finished.

The window sills were more of a job than I thought. But they look way better than I could have imagined when it was all done. The bathroom looks new and now I am more organized. I'm confident everything will be in good shape for a long time.

Louis communicated clearly regarding his arrival at the job site. I was having flooring installed in a separate room from the one he was working on and the two installers worked in harmony. He informed me of his lunch break and assured me that his lunch break was not charged as time on the job. He was also clear on payment of any time over the 1/2 day paid in advance. The project looks spectacular; friends and relatives who have seen his work were very complimentary regarding the finished job. I was happy enough with the first room that I have already contracted with Louis to do a second room. Indeed, he will be hired to do the rest of my home!

Louis is prompt and stays in communication with you regarding your job. He is friendly and courteous and does a very good job at a fair price and stands by his work. Best handyman I have ever had perform work for me. I will definitely use his services again if the need arises as I am sure it will since I have an older condo!

The company is highly rated on Angie's List. I'm very pleased that I followed the recommendations. Louis arrived when he said that he would, and went over my to-do list with me. He worked constantly all day, going from one item on the list to the next. Some items, such as repairing holes in the wall (cut by electricians to add new outlets), Louis would work in stages, allowing time for materials to dry. He would go to the next item on the list. He worked constantly all day. He is thorough, professional, does a good job, and charges a reasonable rate. He is a really nice person; and I already have a new list for him to do. I certainly recommend him.

Mr. Huggins was right on time and came prepared. He was courteous and professional. He worked steadily for the entire time we had agreed upon, and completed all the repairs that I had requested. He was able to repair the exterior areas without having to tear out and replace any wood. Both repairs look perfect! No one will be able to tell there has ever been any damage. He reattached the cabinet molding that was loose, and also found and repaired another piece that I had not noticed. He cleaned up after the job completion, and double checked to make sure he had not missed anything or left anything behind. I will definitely contact L H Company again with future business, and I would highly recommend him to others.

The service went great. In advance of the repair date LH Company contacted me to ensure that either he or I had all the right materials. When he arrived he worked on my to do list starting with the most critical item which was the caulking around the exterior back window and around the window next to the front door. Then he fixed my front door which was sticking when opening and closing. He also fixed the opening for the front door lock which was causing the key to stick when locking or unlocking. Next he fixed 3 toilets including replacement 2 handles on 2 of the toilets, the flapper on 1 toilet, the inside part of the toilet is that controls the level of tank water, and 3 toilet seats. Lastly he replaced a ceiling fan. Overall, it was a good value for the price. I look forward to having LH Company come back in the future.

Louis was easy to communicate with. He responded quickly to all of my questions. He installed cabinets in our laundry room plus a shelf & rod. He came by to discuss the project before the scheduled appointment. Also, he provided recommendations for items we needed to purchase for the project. The project took all day and the cabinets look good in the space.

Louis is very responsive and wiling to say when he doesn't think he can accomplish a specific task. I appreciate his honest assessment of each situation. I have used Louis on two different occasions and will use him in the future.

Louis absolutely went above and beyond. He did a fantastic job. His work was top notch and he is extremely trustworthy and has amazing integrity.

He arrived on time, did all work asked and then some. He found a lock on a door that did not operate properly and fixed it without it being on my list of repair items. I am a realtor, and have found handymen hard to count and wanting to overcharge, but Louis did a great job.
