Gas Logs Express & BBQ, LLC

I am HURT and appalled at the experience that my husband had at this establishment today. We live in Georgetown and for years have made the trip to purchase pellets from this establishment in the effort to support an independently owned business. We have purchased 3 smokers from them and have referred 2 friends who have purchased a smoker each. Today my husband made the 50 mile round trip journey to the store to ask about an issue with the ignition switch and upon arrival, realized that he had forgotten to bring a mask. He opened the door and attempted to ask David if he would charge him for 4 bags of pellets. He did NOT enter the store, nor would he have. He was rudely informed that he should've called first. My husband tried to tell him that he has recently had brain surgery (scars of which are evident and obvious) and has been rendered 100% deaf in one ear and has only 20% hearing remaining in the other ear rendering conversation via phone IMPOSSIBLE. I am angry and heartbroken at the HUMILIATION and RUDENESS that was heaped upon him. Buyers BEWARE- this establishment extends no help to HANDICAPPED!!!! Veterans should shop elsewhere. Do yourself a favor, shop where your business is appreciated and you are treated like a human instead of a petri dish!!!!

Our fireplace tech arrived on time and did a great job. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to hire again!

We were really happy with our experience with Gas Logs Express & BBQ Grills. This is a true family business and one that really deserves community support. They have a very nice showroom and are able to answer any questions and provide helpful input to guide you to get what will work best for your situation without trying to upsell you. They have a good selection of fireplace sets and grills in stock, so you can see just what you're getting. Then they do the installation (ours was within a few days of purchase) carefully and professionally, again answering all your questions and offering helpful suggestions. Everything is done by a family member and an owner of the business. They are friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely go to them when we need to replace our grill.

The guys were amazing! They were very prompt and professional. He gave great recommendations. They were very thorough and instructed me on how to do maintenance. He is very helpful and great service all the way around. It is very rare to find people like this guy that actually care and put their heart behind their business.

What a great company with knowledgeable and friendly experts! I appreciated the education they gave me on how to trouble shoot in the future and how to maintain the gas logs, etc. They were also very careful in our home and laid out a blanket to place the logs on. Everything is working beautifully now, and they even added more rocks to the base of the logs to cover the bare spots. Highly recommend.

Family business, very responsive, able to make an appointment within a few days of calling. Young man took measurements, had a brochure of styles, was knowledgeable about different log sets and about gas hook up. I was offered the option of seeing the sets in the store (Cedar Park), but chose one from the pictures. Able to order and install two days later - very prompt, very patient and informative about the set and use. Have been pleased with the results, both aesthetically and in warming the room better than wood fires.

The person that replaced the starter pipe was on-time, quick, efficient, and friendly. I really appreciate the friendly and professional attitude. He answered my questions in detail and helped me understand how things work. I would do future business with this company when it comes to my fireplace needs.

From the moment we walked in the door at their store to shop for the gas logs until the moment that the installers walked out of our house after they finished the installation, we have been super impressed with every aspect of this business! This is a family owned and run business. The son, Mike, that was working the store the day we walked in, was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He patiently answered all of our questions and was upfront about all of our options but was never pushy in any way. We left their store and went and shopped several other stores around town. The prices at Gas Logs Express were very competitive and the quality seemed to be higher than other places. Plus they were the most helpful of all the stores we shopped. So, we went back and purchased from them and we could not be happier! Today they came out and installed the logs. A son and daughter in the family were the install team. They were also extremely nice, polite, knowledgeable and efficient.. They were very respectful of my home and everything was cleaned up just perfectly by the time they were done. They were super quick to install it and took the time to show us all the features of our new fireplace and go over proper usage. I am extremely impressed with this family run business and I will highly recommend them to anyone I know based on this fantastic experience.

This is a family owned business and it's obvious customer service is most important to them. Even though it started off bumpy, just a minor scheduling issue, they provide the best service I've had in a while. The son, Robert, came out and gave me a quote on a set of logs and explained all of the features, included accessories and warranties. Once I made my decision Robert scheduled an installation date and time. On the day of installation Robert and his assistant Joey arrived with my log set and withing 30 minutes the log set was up and operational. Both guys were very personable and professional and love breakfast tacos. I provided the breakfast tacos cause the two gentlemen took time out early on their Saturday morning to install my log set. I am definitely going to ask for their help again when I save enough money to buy the glass doors for the fireplace.

I called the company, explained I wanted my gas fireplace up and running. Couldn't get it to turn on anymore. They set the appt the next day, came out ahead of time, came in, replaced the batteries in the igniter box, checked everything to make sure all was well, rearranged my gas logs for better flame, light the pilot light and all was well, just in time for the cold weather we are having here. The $65 service fee was well worth it. Great company to deal with.

I wanted to get gas logs as a Christmas present for my husband. I looked at the big box stores. I saw log sets there $300 and up, but then saw there were various installation kits plus specialty tools that were needed as well. Considering there was gas involved, I wasn't really keen to attempt the installation myself. I knew I could hire a plumber, but I decided to research Angie's List for a company that focused on this service. After reading reviews, I decided to get an estimate from Gas Logs Express. The day of the estimate, Dave showed up on time, measured my fireplace and then we discussed log sets that he had in stock. He actually can order an amazing number of log sets, but I was looking to install quickly. He had several in stock that were very attractive. I selected a set I liked from the catalog photos. We scheduled a time for installation the following week. On the day of installation, Dave and his crew showed up promptly and got to work immediately, spreading protective tarps on the floor and hearth. Start to finish, it took him 30 minutes to install the entire assembly. He removed the end off my gas starter - he had a special tool for this - and then attached the gas pan that spreads the gas through the gravel bed. Then he spread the gravel, set in the 'coals', put in a new grate and arranged the ceramic logs beautifully. At this point he left for his next job and his son stayed behind to explain how to operate the set safely. I had never owned gas logs before and had several questions which were all answered. Dave and his professional staff made this entire process easy. The product installed is highly detailed and realistic looking. My husband was so pleased with his present! We love the set and use the fireplace now on every cold night!

Installed gas logs in living room fireplace. They are beautiful, the service was fantastic, and the price was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Dave is experienced (32 years), efficient, and personable. He suggested exactly what I needed and I'm very pleased with the gas log set up. I highly recommend him.

We are absolutely blown away with the results of the two fireplaces. After looking at Home Depot, Lowes, BBQ outfitters, Churchills ect... We drove out to Gas Log Express. We knew that the do it yourself sets from the home improvement stores looked like what you paid for them and that we couldn't afford to buy TWO sets from the expensive places. Gas Log Express is run out of a golf driving range and Google maps sent us to the wrong place... By the time we found it, the husband was almost ready to say 'forget it!' But when we met Dave and he walked us through our options/his recommendations for our dimension fireplaces, we were both impressed with his knowledge and honesty. With our fireplaces large width, he could have shamed us into going with a larger set, but we could have only afforded to then purchase logs for one, of the two fireplaces. Dave and his son arrived exactly on time, after adjusting the time to accommodate our kids soccer schedule. *his son proudly served our country in Iraq and was medically discharged after suffering combat injuries.*. **not relevant to our project, but I absolutely stand behind our US veterans and gratefully support their service** A previous customer described Dave as a and quot;mechanical artist.and quot; And she was spot on! His eye for detail and desire to make the set look as real as possible is awesome. Both sets are beautiful. They are almost as pretty turned off as they are on. We have the A/C cranked and are thoroughly enjoying looking at a beautiful burning fireplace.
