+ -1 moreThe purchase of the home went well; the problems started after the sale. I identified many items that needed to be fixed, but the warranty department at D.R. H Horton is terrible. The workers are never on time and it takes multiple visits to your house before any work gets done. It took 7 visits to my house before any work was done to have my cabinets and counters leveled. Each contractor wanted to see their part if the job and then argue about why they shouldn't have to fix it. The same thing happened when I pointed out some crooked walls. The framer argued that the walls were straight and then refused to believe that his own level was working properly when it showed that the walls were crooked. The framer checked with three different levels before he agreed that the walls were substandard. It took over two weeks to get the walls fixed even though I was told that the work could be done in two days. In the mean time, I had damaged walls in my entryway and living room

Description of Work: I have lived in a new Horton home for barely two months. Within that time I have had a door knob come off in my hand, the AC unit fail and need a replacement part, the dishwasher leak all over the floor, the toilet in the master bath taken out for leveling since the tile was not laid evenly, and all AC ducts were closed off requiring service. All requiring time off from work each time the repairs had to be done. All in two months. I am thoroughly disappointed in the quality and will not buy a Horton home again nor recommend.
