Cedar Park Overhead Doors

Scheduling by phone was quick and easy. The technician showed up on time and was courteous and professional. He worked for about an hour, then brought me out to demonstrate the improved performance of each door and review the bill. The price was reasonable for the amount and quality of work that was performed. We also discussed pricing for a few improvements I might like to make in the future. Door #1 is now operating perfectly! Door #2 is also running more smoothly but is still noisy. This is apparently due to the very old motor (20 years) which has far outlived its expected lifetime.

Didn't do more than was necessary and didn't bill me for unnecessary work.

The technician was on time and very pleasant. He discovered that the tech who had given us the estimate had measured the door incorrectly, but promptly went back and brought the correct size door. Our plan had been to replace a dented panel in our second door with one from the door we were replacing but he pointed out that the panels were different size and it might look odd and probably wouldn't be worth the cost. He also added cables to the springs on our old door so they would be safer. Later we discovered that the light wasn't working in either opener. Don Grenier called and assured us he would make everything right. After a couple of missteps, the technician was busy and couldn't get out in the scheduled time; Don showed up at our house around 7pm and determined that we hadn't screwed the light bulbs in well enough! Very embarrassing but he was cheerful and reassuring and took time to explain everything. He even installed an outside controller for the doors at no charge!

I called Monday morning and Jeff was at my house that afternoon. It only took him an hour to complete the job. He was super nice and I am very pleased with the outcome. He even showed me how to maintain my garage door.

The rep on the phone was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to identify an appropriate replacement within about 3 minutes of phone conversation. Also, he was able to have an installer out to my house within 30 minutes of my call! The installer was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Since we couldn't identify the color of the door on the phone, the installer brought two different colors. Unfortunately, neither door matched. These guys were so helpful; they identified the brand of the previous doors, looked for them in their warehouse, and even called the manufacturer to see if my original color existed. I found out after contacting the previous owners of my house that the doors are painted. After finding out that they were painted, I called again and again had someone out within 30 minutes and the door was replaced approximately 40 minutes after that. The installers even swept up after themselves! This is how dealing with any contractor should be.

They did a great job replacing the garage door, tracking system, and remote control door opener. I was very pleased with their work. I gave them a B in professionalism because they are just country boys. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I was very pleased with them. He came out here twice on two different occasions and for me to use someone more than once, is a very good thing. I am very picky about whom I let do work for me as the work has to be done right and they did an excellent job.

I hope this company does not schedule their workers for long days because the person we had to do the work on our garage seemed like he had been working too long. He showed up late and just had a bad personality the whole way through. The work was finished and done well, but don't hire this company if you want someone with a personality.

The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and thoroughly explained the different types of garage door openers to me. The installer arrived on time and completed his work quickly. He was very professional and courteous. The garage door opener is very quiet and works great.

My door quit opening because the extension spring on one side broke. I called Angie's list and got the recommendation for this company. They answered and were very helpful. They had a technician in the area and he was able to swing by and repair my door on his way back to the shop. I was impressed with the speed of service and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and the service person, Rusty. The service tech did not try to sell me parts for my other garage door which also needed a spring, because I explained that we rarely opened that one. He left a used part, spring, that I can use to do the repair on this door myself, if I choose to do so.

I heard a horrible sound and discovered that the spring on my garage door had broken. I went to Angie's List to look for a service that would repair it. After reading many of the comments I decided to call right at 8am this morning. At 9am the repairman was here and by 9:45 the job was finished. I can't believe how quiet the door opens now. Not only did they replace the springs, they lubricated the wheels and tracks to reduce noise. There's no reason to call anyone else!

I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THESE FOLKS TO EVERYONE.

After trying unsuccessfully for 6 weeks to have another garage door company come out and replace our garage door (picked them due to close location to our home), we received excellent service from Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors. We received a quote the day after our initial call and they showed up exactly when they said they would show up. The door was a fairly rare door (17 years old) but they were very knowledgeable and came out and replaced it exactly when they said they would. There was a minor adjustment needed after the installation, but they were back out the day after I called them to make the adjustment. They were very easy to work with. We have two other doors that will need to be replaced and we will be calling them to do this work also.

CEDAR PARK OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS' technician Bobby is very pleasant & seems competent. I trust that if there is a problem with the part(s) or workmanship that CPOGD will stand behind everything. Mary in the office was also pleasant. I called a second, highly-rated garage door company on the list located closer to West Lake/Bee Caves area, but I felt better talking with Mary. How grand to have both garage doors functioning again!

Excellent! I was surprised when the worker showed up, but it might have been my fault in not noting the day. We discussed the work, I got an estimate, the work was done, I signed the work order, wrote the check, that was it. Quick and professional.

Phone call was very clear. They patiently answered all my questions and even educated me on the varying quality of garage doors (e.g., metal gage) and options for installation. All possible fees were discussed in advance. Installer was friendly, courteous, and even addressed an issue that turned out to be a problem with my existing garage door opener. The installation ran a little bit long (in part due to my issue). We love the new doors.

Working with Gloria (aka Rhonda Rose) has truly been a pleasant experience. From the first time I called, she has had the same demeanor: helpful, funny and sweet. She sent a CD showing different styles of wood doors, gave me her email address for questions, and politely answered any (dumb) questions I had. We've even shared stories about children. They showed up twice to measure the current door and Gloria sent email updates along the way. I highly recommend Cedar Park Overhead Doors because they have the "small-town" feel, with family-owned service.

Initially we had a repairman come look at our garage door. He did not pressure us into buying a new door but there was no guarantee on how long the repair would hold up and it did not seem worth the cost. We decided to get 2 new doors so they would match. The installer was several hours late and a phone call would have been nice. Once he got here he was very good to deal with though. One panel was dented and the weatherstripping had been missed on the order so he had to come back the next day to replace the panel and put the weatherstripping on. He did a good job and we are happy with the new doors.

I was very pleased. The company rep went over the options with me on the phone, I made choices, the doors were ordered and installed promptly and cheerfully. The total cost was a bit less, than I had estimated.

The spring on our garage door broke around 8:30 pm one evening with the door closed and our cars trapped in the garage. Since my husband and I both needed to go to work the next morning, we needed the garage fixed that night. I called Cedar Park Overhead Doors, who had done work for us one time before. Despite the late hour and the fact that he hadn't even had dinner yet, Don made the long drive from Cedar Park to south Austin to fix our door. He arrived when he said he would, gave us a reasonable price on his labor (no after hours charge) and the parts. After he made the repairs he explained what we should do to maintain the door properly and told us what we might want to consider for the future. He didn't try to sell us anything extra or pressure us into anything. He didn't rush and didn't complain about how late it was, though he was here until 10:30 pm. I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.

We called to set up an appointment, and a worker arrived right on time. He had the parts in his truck, gave us an estimate we agreed upon and did the work in two hours. He did a great job.

We were satisfied with the sales of our new garage door and the price was fair. They were quick to come out and install our new garage door. They also did an excellent job removing the dent in our other garage door. We were able to save several hundreds of dollars. They were very honest, reliable, and deserved a good recommendation to others in the neighborhood.

As soon as we called Cedar Park, they sent someone over to take a look. He had to find a matching panel, and once he was able to do that, the installation took less than an hour. He did a fine job.

Cedar Park Overhead Doors fixed our garage door opener. I think they replaced a part but I m not sure exactly what. I asked if we needed a new garage door opener and he was honest that I did not. He said he could easily fix our garage door opener. The garage door sounds better than it has in years. It took him about 1 hour to complete the job. He also gave me some spray to use on the tracks free of charge. I would recommend this company to others.
