Cedar Park Overhead Doors

We visited the showroom near Lakeline Mall and were given a complete demonstration of the garage doors that were in our budget and maintained the appearance of our home (slightly updating the look after 20 years). The owner, Don performed the demonstration and answered all of our questions and priced everything out for us. We called (2) other companies to compare pricing and supplies/recommendations. We appreciated the time and efforts that Don put in to educating us on our purchase so went back to him to ask for a price match; which he offered. We were struggling with design (there are so many choices) and that's when Chris Olari came in the picture. He insisted on coming over to talk with us and look at our house and he brought sample panels for us to look at/feel/and compare. He was very knowledgeble and helped us narrow down the choice quickly. He gave us his opinion of what he thought would look best and why when we had it down to 2 choices. We went with it. The doors took a little longer to come in than we expected (2-3 weeks became 5 weeks) however, they were worth the wait! They look fabulous...what a difference! Matt came out to install the doors and we wondered how 1 guy could do this job by himself. Not only did he do a fantastic job of removing the old doors and installing the new doors and openers, he was a perfectionist and very tidy and precise about his work. He gave us a thorough walk through of everything he did and how to care for/use the new equipment as well as all warranty information: he even reset our built in door openers from the car. I can't say enough good about him from his call to set up the install to the completed job.

Everything went great, the installer was on time and prepared to do the work. He was there probably about an hour, I probably would have spent that much time just cussing so it was totally worth having someone else do it!

The original installation of the old garage doors was of very poor quality with (in some cases) load bearing connections having been made directly to the dry wall using plastic anchors. The installer (Matt) did an outstanding job of removing these old doors and all their associated hardware and fixtures. Because of the age of the property (> 50 years), special care had to be exercised in removing these old doors in order to prevent undue damage to the structure. All the new hardware and fixtures were installed properly and in a workman like manner with all load bearing connections being made to structural members. Once the doors were installed they were thoroughy cleaned and inspected and their care and maintenance was fully explained, as was the operation of the openers and the remote controls. The old doors and all other left over materials were picked up and removed from the site.

I called CPOGD a little after 4PM and told them my garage door wouldn't lift to open. Ric said the tech would call when on his way. I asked " today?". He confirmed they would be there today. The technician, Matt, arrived about 5:30. He looked at the door and explained that one of the springs had broken that caused the problem and that he could fix it immediately for a cost of approximately $300. An hour later the job was complete. Matt explained and pointed out his work and recommended some regular maintenance. Then gave me the invoice with lifetime part and one year labor warranty for 60 cents less than the estimate. The door works great and is less noisy.

Everything was excellent. He explained to me that three times a year I should buy a blaster can, and he told me just what to use and showed me how to use it. They came quickly and were courteous, and professional. He was very thorough with everything he told me to do. The door was still under warranty so there was no charge for the work, but the information he gave me was even more valuable than the work he did. I was very pleased with them, and will absolutely use them again.

Perfectly, Rusty the technician was on-time, courteous and professional. He got everything done (and more) quickly and efficiently and I was very happy with the work he did. In fact, he called out an energy wasting issue with the door insulation that I wouldn't have noticed and we have scheduled to have that work carried out next week with the same company. Highly recommended.

Julio got'em aligned and working quietly in about an hour. He was very neat, professional and cheerfully worked around a pile of junk in one side of the garage.

i am very happy with the quality of service that i received today. the ONLY complaint that i have is that i wasn't given an estimated time window when i called and had to call back to find out about how long it would be. overall, i waited just under 3 hours for the service guy to arrive, but he was totally worth the wait. very professional, very courteous. i hope i don't have to use them for an emergency situation again, but if i do, i'll be asking for Darryl again.

I called on a Tuesday morning and a guy showed up that day to fix it. The repairman was very professional and answered all of my questions on the spot. The next day (5/27), we got a coupon in the mail for $50 off torsion springs. We called up the company and they said they would send us a refund for the coupon!!! You can't beat that!!! I would highly recommend this company for their fast response, professionalism and integrity. The cost was $319 BEFORE the coupon, should end up costing $279 after we get the refund. This was an excellent experience. I called around 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Someone was at my house within 30 minutes to review my problem door. He took my order and the installer came about 5-6 hours later to install the door. This was truly amazing considering that we were having a rain storm that day. Both men that assisted with this purchase/repair were very knowledgeable and professional.

One Garage Door was broken and both were about 15 years old. Instead of replacing everything talked to Rusty and simply repaired the springs and bottom seal and did general maintenance. They work like new. Thanks

Contact initially was timely, and I was able to review products online, select the type of door I wanted and after selecting a door that was not in stock, Rick suggested a more cost effective door that was comparable and the style I wanted and currently in stock. The technician came the next day to install and after seeing the 30 year old door that was atypically sized and installed poorly, Matt called the office to let them know the suggested door would not work and then Rick and Matt came up with a better workable solution and planned for installation the next day. On the following day, Matt arrived (despite severe weather warnings) and spent more than 4 hours removing the old door, rectifying the improper previous installation and even removing water damaged wood and installing weather stripping. He spent 20 mins showing me the installation highlights, new opener operation, instructions for safety and maintenance as well as reviewing warranty info. The door is perfect, and I can now park my SUV in the garage for the first time since moving into the house.

I needed to have a spring replaced on one of my garage doors. One of their technicians was at my home within the hour and finished the removal of the old spring and installation of the new spring in under an hour.

Service technician arrived within an hour of the scheduled time. I showed him the openers that were not working, he verified the issue and that he had the parts to fix them. He said it would take him about an hour. He gave me the cost involved. I helped him with both openers in the final adjustments. He did not have a ladder tall enough for one of the garage door openers and had to borrow mine. You could tell he had done this repair a number of times, apparently a common repair. It ended up taking him over 2 hrs to complete the job, so I spent a lot more than I had anticipated. I could have actually completely replaced both garage door openers with brand new ones for the cost of replacing just the gear. I learned a costly lesson. Plus the labor was over double of what I was originally told. If I knew it was going to cost over $400 I would have just replaced the openers with brand new ones. After it was all done, the garage doors openers make a lot more noise than previously.

I called Wednesday morning and Matt was at my house that afternoon -- in fact, he worked after 5pm to make sure the work got done asap. He assessed the problem quickly and gave an immediate estimate of time and money for repairs. He explained what and why he fixed parts on the door and gave us advice on how to keep it working smoothly for many more years. He was extremely courteous, professional, and friendly. Spending money on home repairs is rarely a pleasant experience, but I was so impressed by Matt and his attitude, work ethic, and attention to detail that I actually smiled as I wrote the check. (He also had only great things to say about the company and his boss, which was very nice to hear.)

It was a very good experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this Company. While the price was as estimated, I felt it was a little high. But then again, I think everything is high.

Great. Repairman was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He explained what was needed to make the doors work properly and quoted me a price that was accurate before performing work. Response time was within 3 hours.

We found them on Angie's List. They were punctual and they cleaned up after themselves. They were responsive - they came right out when I called the first time.

Looked up garage door repair on Angies List, called this vendor on Saturday evening. Was given the price and advised that a technician would call before coming on Sunday morning. Assured that no extra cost for a Sunday job. The new springs would be guaranteed for life. Technician called as promised, came, confirmed the price, and replaced the springs.

I had a bad first experience with this company, but decided to give them a call again for a second chance and I was not dissapointed. The serviceman, Les, was at my house within 15 minutes of the time I told them I would be home. Les, then told me that the labor charge for any work would be discounted because of my initial experience per the owner. Les was very friendly and professional and finished the job in a very short time. I am glad that I gave this company another chance.
