Garage door opener was making some grinding sounds and one roller was jumping off the track about once a week. It got to the point where it was jumping off on a daily basis. It finally jumped completely off the track and would not move - up or down. My wife was not real happy about that. I called CEDAR PARK OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS at 8:00 am. The door was fixed by 11:00 am the same day. The service man found our house and called to report he was there and ready to get started. He adjusted the door, serviced the opener, called back to say he was done, and took my CC info. The opener now runs quiet and smooth.

They were very easy to reach. They were professional with us. The price was very competitive.

Dwayne, the installer showed up as scheduled and installed the door very efficiently and with good workmanship. With his years of experience installing garage doors, he was able to complete the job in an hour and a half and used high quality components (commercial-grade roller, pulleys, etc.) And just as important, the pricing was extremely fair especially compared to work I have had performed by competitors in the past. I would definitelt refer this company to others needing garage door service.

Our garage door opener wouldn't work in the heat of the day and an internet search indicated that the problem might be in the unit's circuit board. I called Cedar Park Overhead Garage Door Openers on Friday night, after hours, to see if this is something they could fix, and they said they could come out Saturday morning and do the work at no extra cost on the weekend. Josh called first Saturday morning to make sure we were ready and arrived on the dot. He explained that replacement of the entire unit costs about the same as repair of the old one. He completed the entire replacement within about an hour. Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors was courteous and professional throughout and did a superb job.

They arrived mid morning as expected, completing the work before lunch in the time they indicated upon arrival. They were able to do the installation with one of my cars (a Classic Mustang) in the garage with some furniture moving pads covering it against the dust. The system is quiet and runs smoothly, just what I was looking for.

I had a good experience all the way through with this company, from the repair of the old door to the sale and installation of the new door, which we love. All of the individuals that I dealt with were very customer service oriented and I would highly recommend them.

I had a positive experience but was surprised that 22 minutes of work would cost $275!!! That's $12.50 per minute and is after redeeming the Angie's List coupon!

The motor on our garage door opener went out. The mfg replaced it under warranty, but only sent out a new one - no installation, no instructions. We installed the new motor, but it wasn't working quite right and could not be adjusted correctly. After hours of messing with it and rereading the instructions over and over, I called Cedar Park Overhead Doors on a Saturday. They were very helpful over the phone with my original problem (getting the track on correctly). But my expertise with openers is limited to pressing the button; I could not get it adjusted properly. I called them back and arranged for someone to come on Monday. Jeff came out and spent some time on the problem - crossed wires. He also programed my car to the opener in minutes! The charge was below what I expected for the time spent.

The overall service was very quick and responsive. I called in the morning and they were out later the same day, it took him (Les) about 1 hour to get the entire thing resolved. He then oiled everything and we were back to better than normal.

UPDATE, after I had the company return around October 15, 2010, when my garage door opener quit working. This experience was more than satisfactory; Les was again the technician who responded, and he determined the problem was with the electric eye. After re-calibrating it, he gave the opener a tune-up and even replaced a piece of 2x4 that had been used to mount the opener to the wall above the door opening, with a piece of angle-iron that is now much more stable than the old piece of wood. Les was quite prompt in arriving this time, apologized for the way the previous visit was handled, and again discounted the price charged for the work he did. He went out of his way to make sure the door and opener worked safely, taking the time to perform a repair that I had been unaware needed to be done, at no charge to me. I am very pleased with the work done on the issue that prompted the call, and the concern for safety that prompted the repair to the mounting plate. I have upgraded my rating to reflect the excellent work provided by Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors. The company has a 24-hour answering service who took my call at around 10 p.m. and promised to have someone call me back first thing the next morning to schedule the repair--nice touch. I was advised at that time that I would be the first customer of the following day. Sure enough, I received a phone call from the scheduler at promptly 7:30 the next morning, and was told that a service technician would be dispatched at 8:00, and he would be coming directly to my house with no other stops prior to mine. Knowing that the business is less than 15 minutes from my house, I thought he would arrive no later than 8:30. I waited until 9:00 before calling back to ask where the tech was; I was told he should be there any minute. At 9:11 I received a call from the tech saying he was about 10 minutes from my house. Another 30 minutes passed, and no technician; I called the company and asked what was going on, only to be told once again that he should be "just around the corner". He finally showed up at about 10:00, saying he had been finishing up a job from the previous day, and that the dispatcher should have told me that (although he did not mention this when he had called 40 minutes earlier to let me know he was "10 minutes away"). That being said, the work done was excellent. My door now rolls up smoothly and much more quietly than it had before the repair was made. I opted to have the rollers replaced because the old rollers were damaged after 15 years of wear and tear; the old rollers were not only noisy, but possibly also contributed to the incident of the door coming off-track. I can also see that the tracks no longer pull towards the center as they had been doing before the repair. No other parts such as cables or tracks were replaced. If needed, I would use this company again. The charges break down this way: $100 for the new rollers, $129 for the labor to put the door back on its track, a fuel (I think, it is difficult to decipher on the receipt) fee of $5 and tax of $8.66. The tech took $20 off for a "coupon" from a local advertising service, although I did not present a coupon or ask for any kind of discount--perhaps he was trying to assuage my obvious disappointment with his late arrival. The work is warranted for 90 days on the labor, lifetime on the parts. The tech (Les) was very nice, clearly good at his job, quick and efficient, and he left a tidy work area when he was done.

Julio was great and fixed everything in less than one hour. We also discussed my need for new garage doors and he said I would need some soon, but could definitely push it for several months. He answered all my questions and made suggestions for my future purchase.

Not only was Cedar Park Overhead Doors was on Angie's list but they came as a referral as well from a friend that used them for the same issue. Great response and quickly fixed with a new beltless technology.

I give this company an A+! Jeff, the technician, was prompt, courteous, and very good at fixing my door. He didn't try to sell me a new door or opener, got mine working very well, and gave me advice when it SHOULD be replaced (when the spring breaks). I was very happy with the whole experience, and would recommend them without reservation

The experience was awesome from the moment I called. They promptly answered the phone and sent a technician to my home in less than 30 mintues. The technician discussed the options of fixing the door versus replacing it. He also mentioned that if it had to be replaced, it might be hard to find one that matches the other door since some companies have gone out of business during the recent recession. He suggested that we first see if he could fix it. Then, if he couldn't, we could look at trying to find a door that would match the other door. He explained that the labor for fixing it (if he could) would be $97.50 plus any parts that might be needed. Within 30 minutes he had the door fixed (reinforcing it with a metal brace @$10 and a new hinge @$18). The total bill with tax was $138.64 less a $20 discount (for mentioning that I saw the company's add in the yellow pages) for a final total of $118.64. The door is working perfectly. The workmanship was first-class, and you would never know the door had been damaged. He could have easily told me there would be no way to fix it and sold me a new garage door for about $500 or possibly even 2 doors for $1000 so that they would match. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough in explaining everything, and very courteous. He also looked at the garage door openers to verify they were in good working order and lubricated the rollers at no extra charge. It's refreshing to find a company that is prompt, customer oriented, and interested in finding a workable solution that isn't necessarily the most expensive one. So many companies these days just look for a way to make as much money from the customer as possible. I intend to use this company for any future garage door problems that might arise. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to feel assured that they will get quality service, at a good price, and won't have to worry about being sold something they didn't need. I got a new garage door for my shop. No opener or sound insulation was necessary, and Cedar Park Overhead Doors provided very prompt, professional service and good workmanship for a fair price. The installer did not try to talk me into more than I needed (which was minimal, since the door that needed replacing was to a detached shop, not my garage). When my garage needs new doors, I'll look to them.

Excellent. They sent a repairman the same morning I called. He evaluated what needed doing and gave me a price to do it. Had all the parts on his truck and installed them in short order. Very satisfied with the result. The garage door works better than it ever did in the last 10 yrs.

Called at 8:30am and they were there by 9:15am. Door was fixed within the hour (major damage to one of the sections. I had an extra section left over which they used to replace the damaged one) Technician was very professional and efficient. Price was very fair. no up-selling on anything. Tech. checked the operation of both doors after repairing the damaged one. Cleaned lubed and oiled all tracks and even fixed a piece of wooden trim that was unrelated to the mishap. The whole experience was excellent, from the phone getting answered on the first ring to shaking the tech's hand as he left.

Garage door closed on my car and kept trying to close. It tore a hole in the door. I called C.P Overhead Door for a quote. Took me calling them back to get a response but after that thing went great. Great people, excellent service, showed up quickly and on time. I suggest to them that they respond faster with quotes. It is not good when a customer has to call you and remind you that they are waiting for a quote. Love this company. Excellence service. I received same same response, which was good since I couldn't open my garage door and my car was trapped until the door was repaired. The repairman called soon after the appointment was made to let me know when he would arrive. He was prompt, polite, and efficient.

Very good experience. Don (owner) came out to measure and help me select the doors. They were delivered and installed by Dwayne Brown, who did an excellent job as well. Both of them clearly believe in providing excellent customer service.

One of the (two) springs on our 18 foot wide garage door broke, and it could no longer be opened. This was the original equipment that was installed when the house was built 9 years ago. I called Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors at 8:05 in the morning, Rick answered the phone, asked a couple questions to learn more about the problem, and then gave me an estimate of the repair cost. He said he could send someone immediately, and sure enough, Chad arrived 40 minutes later. The work was finished in about 35 minutes, and the door now operates more smoothly and quietly than it ever has. Chad was professional and efficient, and the final price was exactly as quoted. The work includes a 3 year warranty on the labor and lifetime warranty on the springs. I'm very satisfied with all aspects of this repair and the company.
