Cedar Park Overhead Doors

Arrived the day after contacting them on time and serviced the garage door. The only thing was you have to call them as they didnt respond to email.

The technician, Jeff, was punctual, friendly, responsive, and efficient. Cedar Park Overhead Doors' response time was excellent. I went to their website really late Saturday night and was able to communicate with a young lady. I received a call from CPOD on Sunday and they even offered to come out that same day. Since it was not an emergency, I declined and told them that Monday during regular business hours was okay. I did not ask if there would have been an extra charge for service on Sunday.

They did a very quick job. They are very good at explaining what you need . I have I have not had any problems with my garage door since they fixed it.

Top notch service! Office staff and technician were very helfull and friendly. They sent someone out the next day and the technician called to come by earlier than scheduled. They drove all the way from Cedar Park to Lago Vista for a relatively inexpensive job, knowing I will call them in the future for any other needs. And I absolutely will!!

So Cedar Park Overhead Doors told me what was wrong, for free. And they were right. I did the work they suggested and things work great now!

The installer was able to come sooner than scheduled. He was very personable, answered my questions, then went to work replacing the garage door opener and servicing the tracks, rollers, and springs. The work went very quickly. He then spent time showing me how to program the remote and the outside keypad. He also had some suggestions about maintaining our wooden door and regularly lubricating the door's mechanisms. We were thoroughly satisfied with the professionalism and helpfulness of the installer and with the quality of his work and of the replacement door opener. One other impressive fact: our garage door is wide, old, and wooden. Early in his visit, I asked the installer if we needed to consider door replacement (since his company also sells garage doors). Not only did he not try to sell me a new door, he actively discouraged me from replacing our existing door. He also gave me a few suggestions about protecting the bottom of the door from standing water.

When I called for an appointment they were able to schedule me for the following day! The technician arrived on time, did an overall check of the garage door, garage door opener, springs, etc. Everything was oiled or greased and the old rollers I had were replaced with a quieter synthetic roller. The technician was professsional and explained some of the things he noticed as he was working on the door. He was skilled at working on garage door openers and was able to make some recommendations about my older opener. He found the spring to be exceptionally dry, which it always seems to be so he worked a little extra on making sure it was lubricated properly. I have used Cedar Park Overhead Doors in the past and they have always done great work for a fair price. That is why when I saw the Angie's List Deal with their name on it, I purchased it without hesitation. I will use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Without going into great detail, we put a big dent in our garage door today and pushed it off the track at around 5:30. Since Cedar Park overhead door had installed the door just over four years ago, we gave them a call to see if they did after-hours repairs. They were able to get someone over to our house within two hours to make the fix. Within the two hour window, the tech, Cody, called twice to let us know exactly when he'd be here and showed up on time. From the time he got here, he was extremely professional and got things fixed extremely quickly. Despite the fact that we got someone out on such short notice and after hours, the price was extremely reasonable. As long as I'm living in the area, I never have to look for a garage door company again. These guys are great.

I liked the fact that they got out here very quickly. There was something that didn’t go perfectly but they did make it right in the end, so I was happy about that. They have a good reputation. They had the Angie’s list special price, they worked really hard to meet us fast, and the quality of the installation was very good. It was a very good package and I would highly recommend them. They installed the garage door and came out a week later to fix some issues.

I rated the price "B" because it was more than I expected to pay for an opener but it is exceptional. Certain there are less costly machines on the market but not this quality.

I ended up not using them not because I didn't like them but the deal was for replacement of all rollers and when they came, I didn't need the rollers replaced. They said I don't need the rollers replaced and that everything was in good shape. They were very honest with me in telling me that they didn't have to do it and that everything looked good. They said I didn't need the work so I got with Angie's List and told them to cancel that coupon for them and that is what they did. They were very honest with me in telling me that I didn't need the rollers for the garage door. I would recommend them just because they are so honest. I didn't have a job for them but I just wanted to use their coupon to get my doors checked. They didn't charge me anything. They know what they are talking about because they are very good at what they do. I bought my original doors from them and I hadn't got it checked since then. I know from previous experience and the first time I used them was actually when I bought the doors. They are very knowledgeable and they don't try and sell me something if I don't need it. The price was fair when I bought them but I don't remember what the price was. They didn't sell me something I didn't need. When I called them, they called me back quick to set up an appointment and they were on time. I sure would use them in the future. They do a good job.

Two highly professional repairmen walked into my garage, told me to stay away from the fallen track (could get hurt), diagnosed the problem immediately, and proceeded to fix it. There was no, "Oh, you need a new door," or "Oh, you need a new motor," or "Oh, you need new springs." A minor problem remained a minor problem and was fixed in no time at all. Furthermore, these two men took their time to explain to me the care and maintenance of a garage door so that I could advert future problems. Many thanks to Dwayne and his co-repairman.

Cedar Part Overhead Doors came out and serviced my garage door and did a fine job at very little cost so I decided then I would call them the next time I needed help. I call them recently to service my sisters garage door and to provide another opener. Loren came out at the agreed time and did excellent work. I will certainly will use the in the future without considering other businesses.

My garage door was not closing properly. I called this service and they came out the very next day to my home and fixed it completely. Creat price and create service. Person was very knowledgeable.

Arrived on time and looked at the garage door that needed reinforcement. Gave an estimate for repairs. Came back out to do repairs (reinforcing brace) and did not have all of the necessary parts to do job as outlined in the estimate. I was charged a trip (fuel) charge which was fine since it was part of the original estimate. However, was told that I would have to pay another fuel charge for them to come out and do the job as proposed originally. Not thrilled about that, but the brace is working as installed for now....hope it lasts since it is not as strong as it could be if it had been done as promised.

I've used CPOD 3 times over the last 8 years for garage door openers, new upgraded garage doors and most recently a broken spring on a Saturday. The repairman called me back within an hour of my call on a Saturday, showed up 30 minutes later and replaced my broken spring. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Our wooden garage door is 24 years old. After using another service who told us no further repairs could be made on the door, and that it needed to be replaces, the Cedar Park Overhead Door technician got it working more quietly and smoothly than it has in years. He also told us we did not need the $98 full tune-up we signed up for, and charged us only the service needed. I will use them again. Great service!

I called them on Saturday morning and they were able to work with my schedule and send someone over at 5:30pm the next Monday. They gave me a courtesy call about 30 minutes before they arrived which was very helpful. My service person was Loren and he was very informative of my options for the work I needed done and the pricing of the job. He worked diligently to get the work done even though it was getting later into the evening. The garage door is working much better and is even operating more quiet now. I was very pleased with the honesty and diligence Loren operated with and felt comfortable throughout the whole process.

The service guy showed up right on time and quickly assessed that the gears were broken in the 13 year old door opener. He did not have a replacement opener with him so we had to schedule the following day for the replacement. (I was expecting that they would arrive with a replacement door opener as an option). The following day, the service guy's truck was burglarized and I didn't find out until an hour before the scheduled appt ... so another day passes and he arrived late (just as I had to leave the house). In the end, the new door opener went in perfectly and works great. The service guy serviced the door itself to reduce the noise and threw in a second remote control to offset some of the inconvenience of the multi day repair. Overall a very nice outcome at a reasonable price, but the extra days of delay forced me to rejigger my schedule several times and thus the "B" grade.

I was most impressed with their responsiveness. Other companies wanted me to be on their schedule but this company met my needs.

Started when a spring broke on my old wood garage door, rendering it non-functional. I experienced a bit of sticker shock to get multiple phone bids of ~$300 just to replace the spring. Especially since I had been planning to replace the door in the near future. (It was 26 years old and sagging.) So, I didn't want to shell out $300 now, just to buy a new door later. When I told my dilemma to Rick at Cedar Park Door, he offered to replace the spring for free, if I would later buy the new door from them. I agreed. Ted came out the same day to replace the spring. The next week I went in to meet with Rick and price out a new door. I was satisfied with their price for a steel insulated door. Plus I selected one of their LiftMaster belt drive door openers to replace my old opener. Took a few weeks for the door to arrive. Then Cody came out and installed everything, showed me how it worked, and advised my on how to do future maintenance. Great experience overall.

I have used them before and always had good service. I called on a Saturday and they replaced the door opener and associated parts on Monday, so they were very responsive and the work was done on time. They helped my sync my car's builtin door opener with the garage after the installation, too.
