Jeff, the tech, arrived in the scheduled window of time. Balanced door, tightened bolts, lubed hinges and ball bearings, replaced a roller, tested the beams, inspected the chain mechanism. Comprehensive tune up and fast!

The guy was great. Arrived when he said he would. Described what he did. and finished very promptly. Very nice to deal with. I will use these guys from now on.

Called on a Sunday, and tech was able to repair. Went fast, and painless.

Gary is a very professional guy. He called me before coming and asked me if he could come in earlier. He then came in and started to work right away, replaced garage door rollers and wells as lubricate all the door parts. My door seems like new and its not as noisy as it was before. Gary also explained how the doors work and what should be done to keep them in good shape. Overall very happy with the service.

I changed originally scheduled work date to one week later. Service tech called on original date to do work. Then one week later tech didn't show. Apparently, the dispatcher didn't get work of the change. But when they did finally show, work was done very well.

2 of 4 panels were dented upon arrival. They offered to install the new door panels temporarily and then return with 2 new panels, as they had already removed the old garage door. Making the situation worse, they installed the new panels using the old brackets, mounts and even the bolts. Despite spending $1,500 they chose to use the 20-year old rusted hardware already in place rather than using the new ones that came with the newly purchased door. Lazy. Now they are dragging their feet on replacing the dented door panels. Nice people during sales process, but incredibly unreliable follow-through. They seem to have forgotten who the customer is.

My springs actually broke at 9 pm on Monday. They came at 9:30 and fixed it. There was no charge for after hours. I appreciated their service a lot.

The garage door is very quiet now and we have used them for service in the past as well. They will be the only provider we use if we can get away with it.

Casey from Cedar Park Overhead Doors came out to do some repairs and maintenance on both of my garage doors. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and courteous. I will definitely use this company for all of my future garage door needs.

They came out and performed a tune up on both of my garage doors. They tightened bolts, greased the hinges and replaced the rollers with sealed bearing rollers. It's been almost a year and we haven't had any issues. The doors go up and down when they're supposed to and still quiet. Thanks, Mike

We had a door malfunction and the top panel was a little bent and the roller wheels needed to be fixed. Then we saw the Angie's List deal for roller replacement and Garage door tune-up for one door. Cedar Park Overhead Doors sent out one of their technicians to service us. He was friendly and did the tune-up work as promised on one of our two doors. He said the top panel was bent and it would cost just as much to order and replace the panel as it would to put one of their new doors in. I took that into consideration. Yet, after he left, the door that he did NOT service just mysteriously broke, the roller mechanism, and would not go down. The first thing I thought was that he did something to break the door because we never had any trouble with it. This happened before Christmas last year (2013) so we waited until after our Christmas vacation to deal with it. We also called Cedar Park Overhead Doors to tell them about it but no one called us back......that worried me! We actually called another company to come out and look at it as a second opinion. This other company said it could be just a fluke because our doors were a brand that builders put in and the roller mechanism was well know for breaking. With parts and labor it was expensive to repair our door, as much as buying a new one, so we should just buy new ones. The same advice we heard from the CPOD technician. Not happy at the prospect of paying at least a thousand to replace both doors because we needed them to match, we called Cedar Park Overhead Doors back. This time we got someone to talk to us! And one of the owners came out to look at the door. Where as the technician said we should just buy a new door, the owner said he could replace the manufacturer's internally loaded spring roller mechanism with an external spring roller and put reinforcing steel bars on the top panel of both doors for a lot less than replacing the doors or buying the manufacturer's roller mechanism! He also could not explain what happened with the door that broke other than saying that it was just coincidence.....which we accept because there is no other explanation than the possibility of falsely accusing his technician of breaking it. Whereas we were skeptical about Cedar Park Overhead Doors with all the events that happened, the owner came out, fixed the door and made both doors much sturdier without having to buy two new doors. As a note, I would suggest using the owner and not a technician.

My Lift Master garage door opener hadn't worked in 5 years. Thinking that replacing or fixing our opener was going to be very expensive, we hesitated to move forward in doing anything about it. After manually opening and shutting it all this time, we finally decided to call a repair company for a quote. Being a fairly new Angie's List subscriber, you guessed it, I searched the listing for a good overhead door company. Cedar Park Overhead Doors was on top of the listing and had outstanding grades from other Angie's List subscribers so I gave them a call. Rick answered the phone and ,after hearing me describe my problem, and after telling him that I was an Angie's List subscriber, politely welcomed my call and said he'd love to take care of our problem. It was obvious to me that he valued Angie's List subscribers as I'm sure a lot of business heads their way as a result of our reviews. Anyway, Rick said he would send out a service truck the next day to perform a free evaluation of the system and to give me a quote for repair. Free diagnostic? How could I go wrong with that? The next day Casey, a service technician, arrived as scheduled. I explained the history of the opener, including when and how it quit working, and he immediately offered up a solution; to install a new gear kit. He explained why it was necessary and then gave me a quote. To my surprise, and I do mean to my surprise, the cost of repair was very reasonable! In fact, it gets better! He gave me a nice discount for being an Angie's List subscriber! I was still a little skeptical. Surely he's gonna come back and tell me he was wrong with his diagnostic and quote and that it's going to cost a lot more than he'd figured. Well, an hour later I heard the sound of my garage door opener working like it did years ago. And when Casey showed me the invoice, it was exactly as he had quoted. I am a happy customer!
