Cedar Park Overhead Doors

Description of Work: The garage door opener was performing erratically, and the wooden door was too noisy. Cedar Park OD fixed the unit and explained in detail its workings and parts. The rollers were replaced and moveable parts were lubricated. Result: everything is MUCH quieter. Very impressive!

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List tune-up special offered by Cedar Park Doors. My experience with this company was great, most especially because while I had some initial problems with the service, their determination to go above and beyond to "make it right" was truly admirable and impressive. So, what happened was that I was told all the grease on my nylon wheels was bad and I needed new tracks. I would need to have them come back with the new tracks to put them in. Fine. One of the men came out the very next morning to do just that. I was already impressed with the speed of service and desire to accommodate my weekend schedule. Unfortunately, he installed tracks that were incorrect for my particular door, and when I pointed out the jerkiness and noise with the new tracks, he then suggested I would need a new door. Well, at this point of course I was beginning to wonder if the "special" was a sales pitch for a new door. I called the company after he left, kind of expecting to get the run around, but no, I was told a lead tech would be out to see me in a few days. Sure enough, Matt the wonder man, arrived at 7:00 pm after a long day of working and installed the correct tracks and even some new cables because mine were frayed at no extra charge. End result: I have new nylon rollers, clean new tracks suitable to my door and new cables, plus general inspection of the system for a price I consider incredibly reasonable. Great company, and total honesty!

Description of Work: Price is money spent over 1 1 /2 year and include initial new motor, Tune ups and repair of my accident which broke a door panel. A couple of tune up visits were free - as part of warrantee l Have 14 year old garage door - noisy and jerky overhead door made of composite. Started repair work over a year ago with new motor, which I suggested. Turns out I should not have asked for new motor as door was still noisy and jerky and started to lose hinges, really proably need a new door Had few calls over last year year & 1/2 to fix. Each visit was by different guy and was - to me - done professionally and quickly. IN between the fixings i I had a golf cart break the bottom panel. This was fixed - they had to find a replacement panel which as hard to do - and fixed that problem. Problem of noisy and jerky door continued - not helped by the breaking of the door. Had additional tune up work done Finally a supervisor came and stepped back and looked at the overall problem and said the door was just to too heavy and overall construction of original installation was poor and was getting old. He took time and was very nice and professinal and has - hopefully fixed the problem more permanently at no additional cost The door in still noisy and jerkier than I would like but- it is old and of compoiste - but the repairs appear to have taken this time. Should have just replaced door over a year ago- but then of course the golf cart would still have hit a new door

Description of Work: My garage door opener was acting up and the door would close only about half the time. I tried to adjust the electric eyes, to no effect. I called Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors after checking Angie's List. Dave arrived with a smile within two hours, fixed the problem, put one of their stickers on the inside of the door so I would know who to call next time, and charged me $59.00. I am very satisfied.
