Britton Service Group is a local family owned business in the Greater Austin and San Antonio areas. We service, install, and provide maintenance for all Residential and Light Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating needs. We were founded in Austin,TX in 2012.We will continue to grow our business honestly, working hard to earn one customer at a time, one referral at a time. It is the honest way. It is the Britton way. We have 11 employees. Billing is due at time of service. Leasing is available. (10% off repairs)

Description of Work: They came out to check my ac unit. They were on time, thorough and professional. Once all my other remodeling things are finished around my house, I hope to have them back out to fix the issues they found with the unit.

Description of Work: The company was very responsive when I purchased the service. They were punctual the day of service. However nothing was really done. The tech examined our system and basically told me that our system needed to be updated. I already knew this much, but am trying to make it last as long as possible. He told me he couldn't add freon. He did offer other services at additional cost. I don't mind paying for the service call. I understand the cost of dispatching the tech and compensation for his time. I don't, however, feel like we received what we paid for.

Description of Work: Initially inspected A/C and noted the outside fan motor was drawing too much current plus it was very noisey - recommended a motor replacement by summer and checked into whether I had a warranty on the motor. Informed me the motor was covered by warranty and he gave me an estimate of $297 to replace the motor. Although I thought the remove and replacement cost for a new motor was a bit high, it was worth it to me to not have to deal with removing the existing motor, going and getting a replacement, installing the new motor, then checking out the overall AC to ensure it worked properly. I trusted the Britton workman enough to give the go ahead. Repair was quick and effective. I'm satisfied.
