Description of Work: I had a simple job to install a bathroom faucet with exactly the same model as the original. I would not have normally called a plumber over a handyman for this due to the typical $60 service fee just for showing up. I received a card in the mail to get a free estimate. I was unable to get a general hourly cost over the phone. They insisted that someone needed to see the job. That was fine by me I just thought it unnecessary to get a ball park estimate. The gentleman was prompt, courteous, and quick to assess. The estimate however was outrageous at $250. That was without the $59 service fee. I had my handyman install it for an 1/8th of the cost.

Description of Work: replaced pipe flangs

Description of Work: Plumber replaced toilet parts inside of tank and new toilet rings for 2 toilets. Set up gas hookups for the kitchen stove and the clothes dryer. We also paid for next years annual inspection. Felt like the work was good no leaks and toilets all in working condition.

Description of Work: They did some plumbing for us. They did a great job. They ended up being in our neighbor and didn't charge a service call because of that.

Description of Work: We did not hire Benjamin Franklin to do our plumbing job for the bathroom makeovers we were doing. They are a large company with a lot of overhead so I imagine that drives their prices up. Other plumbers gave us estimates for at least half the amount Ben Franklin estimate. They seemed very knowledgable and polite, so if price is not a major concern for you, they are probably still a good option.

Description of Work: We had cut into a cement slab foundation and required experienced plumbing expertise to re-route copper pipes. The service was fast, on time and completed quickly at a fair and reasonable price...although why I had to pay another 20 minutes while the plumber wrote up the paperwork is beyond me.
