We were very pleased with them. They were very responsive. Their price was very fair. They came out when they said they were going to come out and quickly did a good job.

I had a dripping shower faucet. I chose BFP because they had a coupon in Angie's List. I thought it was going to be a replacement of stems and washers, and cost at most $150. The plumber showed up and wanted to replace the whole shower unit for $500+. If I just wanted the stems and washers replaced it would be $300+. I declined his advice and told him not to perform the work and payed him just the service fee of $59. I called Austin's Best Plumber and he replaced the stems and washers and payed a total of $95.

Overall experience was positive. They have a receptionist who receives calls and books appointments (very helpful as some plumbers don't have this at all). They explained the process up front and provided a three hour window to arrive at my house. I did receive a call the next day and the service was done right away. Dave fixed my drain issue and worked on my leaky faucet and gave guidance on when I should replace the faucets. Very easy process.

They were prompt and came out quickly. They gave us an estimate. They were willing to do the work while other companies didn't because of the type of plumbing. I was satisfied to an average amount. I wasn't completely satisfied. I thought the job could have been a little bit more neat. There was a couple of items that they over looked but when it was pointed out to them, they came out and fixed them. The prices were a little higher than I expected. The parts looked like they had a high mark up on them.

They are timely, professional and they take time to explain what they are doing and what it will result in. They are excellent.

Their work has been very good and we have had no problems. We will continue to use them and would highly recommend them.

The plumber was polite and explained things to me. It took him about three hours. He spent a lot of time and was very careful. He cleaned up after himself.

He did the work, but charged me an outrageous price! Then signed me up for some kind of news letter, without telling me. The guy who came did not show any pride or professionalism.

The service person arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He suggested rebuilding the tank with better components which would last longer. We agreed and he performed the work. The repaired toilet has been working great. The price seems high, but I haven't had this type of work done before, so perhaps it is OK. Next time I would ask for an itemized bill to justify the high cost.

Two words describe this plumber, "Excellent & Expensive". After having one plumber "no show". I called BJ and they immediately scheduled me the following day and gave me an estimated ETA. The following day plumber called to tell me he was on the way, when he got there he gave me a quote, then he completed the work. Very professional, neat, organized, (this was not his first rodeo) a real "pro".

Charged $59 for a quote. Not that I have a problem with that directly, however the quote was over 3X as high as my other highest quote. I ended up going with the 3X lower quote (obviously) from a licensed plumber who is pulling a permit with the city. Don't waste your time paying for a quote from this company, they could stay in business without ever turning a wrench.

I initially called another plumber I had used before, and a phone company message notified me that the number had changed. When I called the new number, I got Ben Franklin plumbing. They had someone available in the time slot I wanted, so I went with them. The plumber showed up on time in a van with large custom graphics; first indicator of high price. He brought in a price book; second indicator of high price. I almost choked when he gave me the price quote, but my wife and I had been without a kitchen sink for a month (waiting on countertops), so there was no way I was going to delay the sink installation to save a few hundred dollars. I was happy with the results, but I am certain I could have found a plumber to do the same work with the same quality for half as much.

We've been having problems with our faucets for some time now. We were very happy with this company. They are very efficient and completed the task in a timely fashion. They are honest and hard working and we would recommend them to others.

They were very professional and on time. The plumbers were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was needed. I was a little disappointed in the price considering the work they did but they prices were fixed and they showed me the price sheet so I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off.

We needed to schedule the toilet replacement at a particular time, as we were having tile installed and needed to coordinate with those installers. We were attracted to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing because of their "on-time" guarantee. They arrived when promised and did an acceptable job of installing the toilet. They, however, charge a non-refundable $59 fee just to come to your home and provide an estimate. If you do not select the company to complete your project, you are out the $59. Their price was more than twice the price of the plumbing company we used for a second toilet replacement in another bathroom the following day. Benjamin Franklin charged us $288. The other company (Clarke Kent Plumbing) charged us $110 for identical service, they arrived when expected, and they provided the cost estimate over the phone.

They came when they said they would. They did a good job. They came back when the pipe clogged again, and after re-clearing the drain, they revoked their warranty. Given I got two cleanings out of them, I guess their initial price was OK. But they charge $200 just to remove and put a commode back - that is outrageous in my opinion.

First off, Angie's List RULES. Angie had a coupon for $59 off the service call, so that made the whole thing less crappy. I only had to pay $129. But I didn't price the job out, (guest took morning shower with bucket), so I don't know if I got completely robbed or not. Dispatcher was wonderful, giving a three hour window and telling me to go run errands and he'd call me to let me know exactly when the plumber was coming. I'd have about half an hour to get home. I missed the first call to my cell! But no problem--they just had someone pop up unexpectedly so they were going to send him. So I took a later appointment. The plumber was sweet and my dog liked him. *And* he climbed into the attic to turn my water temperature down for me. My guests and I were out of the stone age before the evening. Great experience.

The service was fast, friendly, and professional and I liked the plumber. Of course they didn't tile up when they were done. My biggest complaint is that the price was exorbitant and I was just so frustrated not having a shower that I paid them a ridiculous sum of money.

These guys came out the next day after we called them. They were able to do the installation of our new system fairly fast. They treated us very good and we would highly recommend them to other people in the area. I feel that they are very experienced in their field.

The workers were very professional and friendly to work with. They always clean up after the job is done. The workers were reliable. They were here when expected and also reasonable in their prices. I am very satisfied with the work that they did. I would recommend them to others.
