Prompt response for estimate with knowledgeable representative. Work very well done - including clearing trees and stumps that had grown into old fence. Followed up as requested. Casey (project manager) dealt with neighbor's concerns regarding fence replacement.

I let this review sit for a couple of months, to make sure I had cooled down. I chose BC Fence because my conversation with their project manager made me feel like he would stay on top of the details of the project. In return, we paid top dollar among the multiple bids we received. I’m not sure we could have had a more frustrating experience. I think you should be prepared for little or no supervision, an under-equipped and sloppy crew, and several niggling issues that will take time to crop up. You may reach a point where you live with flaws because you worry that return trips will cause more problems than are solved. Specific pain points: -The project started at least a week later than expected. -The work was not done correctly the first, second or even third time. We found issues two months after the new fence was erected, and BC Fence has not addressed those issues a month and a half after notification. -They had to disassembled part of the new fence to cut down a tree we paid to have removed. (After I warned the project manager that it was still there before the pickets went up.) -One of the new gates was installed the wrong direction. -Metal edging that was pulled up when the old fence was removed was not pushed back into place. For one section of edging, they cut a notch in a new picket, and ran the edging into my neighbor’s yard where it was left flopping loose. -All 2x4s and 4x4s were cut with a chainsaw. The cuts are less than smooth. -Where old post were removed, some of the old cement was removed, but almost all holes, with or without old cement, were left wide open providing a hazard for dogs and people. (Make sure you specify expectations on the old cement at the start, and that the crew has a jackhammer!) -When the re-work was done for the tree removal, hole filling and gate correction, the crew left my gate to the front yard wide open, a hose running in the backyard, and my pool overflowing. -At least one board was nailed into place so that it overlaps the next board, instead of fitting flush. -The fence was installed in September. In November, I discovered that two boards were never nailed into place, and notified BC Fence. It is now January, and they still have not made time to come drive eight nails. I can’t think of a more basic fence building task than nailing the boards in place, but it still went undone. Choose BC Fence at your peril.

I've hired B.C. Fence before to replace a section of the same cedar privacy fence. This time, another section showed signs of weakening (rotted and wobbly support post), so I decided to replace the entire section instead of doing a patch job. Wayne was my contact this time. He was prompt to the estimate appointment. Like last time, I did have to call and follow up on scheduling. Due to the holidays and weather, the work was delayed by a couple of weeks, but the repair was well done by Eddie and his crew. Unfortunately, the pickets they installed weren't flat topped, so Wayne had to call them back the next day to trim them. I greatly appreciated Wayne's responsiveness. He came by in person to check the initial work, then again the next day when the pickets were trimmed. Based upon this experience, I would be happy to hire B.C. Fence again in the future.

It was good. There were a couple of fence pickets that I would have had them replace if I had been present, but not worth calling them back in. I asked for a receipt to be mailed to me, but it never was.

Needed a quote for a gate adjustment. While the other guys were giving estimates, Casey grabbed his tools and had it fixed before I could blink. No charge.

I am a first time homeowner and this has been an experience I will never forget! Thanks for Eddie and his hard working crew I have a new and beautiful fence I am very proud of!!

This October 2017 we got 3 quotes to put up a wrought iron fence around our yard. After reviewing all quotes with choose BC Fence and their representative Casey, who was professional and very knowledgeable about the fencing we wanted. He walked the area where the fence was to be put up and explained the time line for the project so there would be no surprises. Casey was flexible with the scheduling because we needed approval from the association and city we live in. We had great communication throughout the project and when all approvals were in place we were ready to start the project. Casey and crew arrived on the agreed day and we knew that it would be a two day job because of the size of the yard and we also wanted three gates. The crew was courteous did a wonderful job and cleaned up the yard each day and at the end of the project. Casey was there to again walk the area of the fencing with us. The project were very smoothly and we are very happy with hiring BC Fencing and Casey and we would highly recommend them.

I'm very pleased with the outcome. Jerimy, the Project Manager, was very responsive and answered all my questions. He came out twice on the day of the install and called afterwards to follow up to see if I was happy with the finished product.

Project manager was very professional and answered my calls and questions when I needed help or understanding of the process. The crew did an excellent job on the fence and it looks great. Very, very satisfied with the office department, manager, the crew and the work they did. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. I have not disclosed the price because everyone’s situation is different, but they were more reasonable than other companies I contacted.

Excellent work, extremely professional, good price

BC Fence submitted a bid for a lengthy perimeter fence around my yard. Their project manager Eddie came to the site to examine what he would be dealing with and prepare a quote. He gave me the address of a recently completed job which I inspected and found to be a super bit of work—neat, no knot holes, pickets all lined up, and top quality ¾” thick pickets. Eddie was really attentive at returning phone calls and Emails and responding to my questions and concerns. However, I also obtained bids from other contractors whose work was not up to what BC Fence did but were less expensive and I decided to go with one of them and live with a lower quality of work. No reflection on BC. I just decided not to go first class.

Great. BC Fence repaired the fence so that it was sturdier than it had been before the storm.

I compared different companies and they had the best price (with Angie's List coupon), and seemed very professional. We had to go back and forth with dates because of Hurricane Harvey and a trip I had, and they accommodated to the date I preferred. Casey explained the job clearly, and José did an excellent job installing the fence. It looks wonderful!

Casey listened to my requirements and explained my options in detail. The quote was a modest one of three I got, and his presentation made the difference. Both fences were constructed of high quality materials and meticulous attention to aesthetics, by a skilled crew of two in a day. Minor misunderstandings were quickly resolved. The cleanup was complete and a detailed acceptance inspection preceded payment. This was the most pain-free construction job I've ever contracted. Thank you, B.C. Fence!

Eddie managed the job wonderfully, promptly provided an estimate, kept in contact during my decision process, scheduled a quick and quality job. After the fences were built, no one could tell they had been built from scratch that day.

Estimate was prompt and on time. Price was higher than competition but assumed from discussion the quality was a little higher and I liked their ideas to address some quirks in the job. Once the job started on mutually agreed upon date they got in and out, property sealed in one day. Change order for the new gate operator wasn't as smooth; took longer to get started than I'd have liked and the operator box had defective locking mechanism that disintegrated when touched. Fixing took several calls but they never questioned the need to return to fix. All that said, their work increased property value and curb appeal.

Casey was very quick to respond to my inquiry and came out to look at the issues and offer a solution. From the first phone call to the completion of the work was less than 6 weeks. The team that came to install the fencing did an exceptional job. Edwin, Noe and the rest were very courteous and friendly and even helped me with removing some branches that had grown over the fencing. I would highly recommend B.C. Fencing.

Beautiful high quality fence done right away and quickly.

The Fencing they replaced was a good job. Tree stumps were cut and new posts were installed. Good attention to detail. There was some issue with trash left on the site and a wood gate was damaged. After consulting the company rep, these issues were corrected in a timely fashion and to my satisfaction.

Excellent. Randy was a terrific project manager, kept me informed about timing as they got a little behind on other projects and started two days late, but they finished on our schedule. Alfonso and his team were incredible! They worked very hard and very fast.

It was a little high, but I am happy with their service.

I had a very good experience with B.C. Fence. They were prompt about responding to my initial inquiry via Angie's List. Casey came for the estimate a few days later and was on time. Their price was a little lower than estimates from two other fencing companies. I did have to call Casey a few days later to confirm when the work was scheduled. The job was done approximately three weeks later. The crew did most of the fence replacement but was short of a few pickets to finish, so Casey came by that afternoon to install them himself. The replaced fencing looks great! Based upon my good experience with B.C. Fence, I would call them again the next time I need repairs done.

Met with B.C. rep to discuss what the options were for a privacy fence covering a slope next to our pool, one that could be 8 feet tall. He showed some samples of their recent work and we went with one we found visually appealing. Two weeks later the job was started and then completed on schedule the next day.
