B&L Hardwood Floors

Did just what they promised. On time - on budget.

B&L, along with 4 other local companies quoted our project. We have an 1840's house with many rooms of antique pine floors, which can be very tricky to properly sand, stain and seal. Their price was good and we liked Jeff so we went with B&L and we're glad we did. The floors came out great, and they were very responsive to our requests during the work. They were also very willing to work with us on stain colors, etc. All in all, it was a great experience and we would certainly hire them again.

At first it was a little hard to get in touch with the owner, Jeff Groat. But once we got our communication lines cleared, he was responsive. It took longer than anticipated because when the wonderful worker, Travis, reconnected the refrigerator before putting on the last coat of poly, there was a leak all over the new floors. A small area of flooring near the refrigerator cupped. Travis was back the very next day and sanded the floors again in that area, over the next several days put three coats of poly on the newly sanded area, and finally put a 5th coat on the entire floor. It looks incredible! Travis was a delight to work with - -reliable, cordial, smart and clever.
