I called many carpet people trying to get someone to come out to put down new padding and tack down carpet I had lifted up after I had water soak about a 6 by 4 foot area of carpet. No one would come because the job was so small. I called Snyder's Carpet and Christine said she would come out for her minimum of $150. I was just grateful someone would come out for that little since most wouldn't for at least twice that amount. She told me over the phone to go get new padding and bring a sample of it with me to the store to match up thickness. We set up a time convenient to me to come out. She called 15 minutes before arriving and her assistant did a wonderful job. She was nice to come do it because she really is sticking to just carpet cleaning services. She offered me the deal she had for Angie's List to clean our carpet, but I didn't have time to do it then.

Vendor was very punctual. They sent me an email shortly after my purchase to confirm my availability. I bought this service for my mother's birthday and the vendor squeezed me into her next availability date so I could see my mother's reaction while I was in town visiting. They came on time and the service took about 1 to 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this company.

They measured the surfaces. It was more than the deal included, however the additional surface was charged at the same discounted rate, so there were no real surprises. I am satisfied.

One of the two service providers had a very negative attitude. They came in and immediately asked if we had ever used any type of floor wax on the floors- which I hadn't , but I'm not the original home owner. One of them kept complaining that because the floors had a sheen to them, there had to be wax on them, and they shouldn't do the cleaning. They perfomed the service despite his complaints, but I didn't notice a significant difference after the cleaning. Still looked like there was dirt in the grout, and I was disappointed.

Arrived as scheduled. Took a look and went right to work. I had everything moved and ready for them. I had one piece of furniture too heavy for me to move alone. They moved it so they could clean and re-seal that area. no problems with their service

floors were cleaned. The grout didn't turn out as I was hoping but are better than they were. overall cost - a little disappointing. The additional cost for over the overage I feel was more substantial than I thought it should have been and in comparison to other companies. After receiving their additional estimate, since they were here, I felt almost obligated to pay the additional cost and have the service completed that day. will I use them again, I don't know. I for sure would ask more questions up front before having them back.

The carpet cleaning was just phenomenal. My carpets were truly cleaned better than they have ever been cleaned before, but it did cost more than I thought it would. The lady and her helper were really nice. She counted my big den as 2 rooms and we didn't know that so we ended up paying a little bit more. We will probably do the same thing again. She also cleaned my area rug very satisfactorily. We were pleased that they could clean the rugs. We had a special rug, a silk rug and some more rugs that we didn't want to take them and leave them because they were special rugs that we purchased raw. It was really good that she was able to take care of cleaning all of those. We had purchased the plastic tarp to put on the floor of our garage. We backed all of the cars out so she was able to clean them there so that really worked out well. I purchased it for $120-130 and I did have one extra room, and the den which is a good sized den which I am happy as it is. She said that it counted as 2 rooms. My husband and I, as much as we could, moved all of the furniture away from the walls because we wanted all of the floors as much as the carpeting around the house completely vacuumed. We moved a lot of the furniture. We got those little teflon thing and moved them out. They helped with their limited degree on moving furniture and it was clear that that wasn't part of what we were paying for. I think they may have worked a little bit further because of that. They did a lot more cleaning than they normally would have. She said that if we moved the furniture, they would vacuum behind and so we did that. She is a very, very nice lady. I told her how many square feet it was on the phone, and then when she got there, there was additional pricing. I thought that the price was for so many square feet, up to so many rooms. There was some confusion on my part. I thought more was included in the price than what she actually did, but I would absolutely do it over again because I am just so proud of my carpet. They are cleaner than they have ever been before. We've had other ones that had cleaned before and that was a really superior one. It looked so clean and looked almost new, and they are almost 12 years old. Even though there was some confusion, I feel like I ironed it out. It makes me a little reluctant to use Angie's List in the future because I have to pay upfront for a service that hasn't been performed,and normally when I hire somebody I pay after they have had everything ironed out. I rely on reviews. She is a small businesswoman and she did a good service. There was some confusion on the price but that was alright. She came out exactly on time and very quickly after I ordered the service on the website. She called me initially very quickly. It was within 24-48 hours and set a date that was really close and convenient and she was there on time. It didn't take her that long. She and her co-worker did all the work in a reasonable amount of time. Their professionalism was definitely good.

We had ordered through Angies in early part of the year, but got delayed because of ice stuff. We worked well together to postpone to a mutual time we could get it done. Very straight-forward business. She was very honest and open about what they would and would not do here. E.g., would not move furniture and would not match competitor offers. I like that the person I speak with is the one who does the service--very little chance for mix-ups. Seems like the roto-vac technology does about same level of cleaning as other technologies so you're just paying for the excellent services with this vendor. They worked all day and the carpet took a long time to dry, like other services.

Christine was very friendly and accommodating. She arranged to shuffle her schedule due to a conflict I had later in the day. She also agreed to add the kitchen cleaning at the last minute. This turned out to be very expensive ($168 for ~100 sq. ft. including grout sealing), but my wife and I were very impressed with the results and thought this room turned out the best. They did a fantastic job on the tile, and restored the grout to its original color - it looked like new. The shower was $129 and looked a lot better than it did before, though not quite the like-new look of the kitchen. On the carpet cleaning, they were not able to use the Rotovac due to our low-pile carpet (which Christine had mentioned might be the case on the phone) & instead used the wand. On the areas that weren't visibly dirty before, the carpet looked great afterwards. However, we were disappointed with the results in high traffic areas. They gave us the standard disclaimers beforehand (as all carpet cleaners do) about not being able to get up every stain, and we completely understand. However, we try to get our carpets cleaned professionally at least once a year (though 1st time using Snyder), and they've always been able to get up most of the high traffic area dirt. But this time, it almost seemed like it was pulling the dirt to the surface where it was more visible than before, and then not removing it. I will say this is not for lack of effort - I was impressed with the effort they did put in, going over the soiled areas multiple times. Not sure if it was because of their equipment not being strong enough or maybe because they weren?t able to use the Rotovac. I pointed this out as they were finishing up and Christine said they did the best they could (which I believe). With the exception of the high traffic areas, they did a great job.

they did a great job. The grout was really dirty I didn't think they could clean it. But they cleaned it probably about 90%, I was really impressed with how clean the grout was. Tile looked great also.

Paid for grout cleaning and scheduled on line for service 2-3 weeks out. Gave 3-4 possible dates and never was contacted. Now to get my $$ back.

They arrived on time, were able to remove a paint stain from one of the carpets, then they cleaned all the carpets. They were friendly, professional and efficient. I will call Snyder's Carpet Care next time we need the carpets cleaned.
