Everything went great. It was easy to schedule and they communicate very well. Most importantly they cleaned our white grout! We had previously heard from people that it wasn't worth getting grout cleaned because it didn't turn out well. But they got the white grout looking white again! They were also friendly.

I am always hesitant to hire people to work in my house, and procrastinate because I don't know who to hire or exactly how the job will be done. On impulse I bought a special from Angie's list for grout cleaning and sealing. I'm so glad I did! I had good service from the moment I first spoke to Christine at Snyder's Carpet Cleaning. She is very personable and explained the process to me before scheduling an appointment. She reconfirmed two days before and then came right on time. She and Jessie worked quickly and my floors look great. It only took 2 hours, I should have done this a long time ago. I'm planning to use her for carpet cleaning too, and for laying laminate in my hall.

Christine Snyder was the coordinator for the project along with Alex Cortez and his crew who did the actual demolishing and rebuilding of the shower. The first tile we picked out had been discontinued and we were promptly notified of this. We were sent several links to ceramic styles (comparable to the discontinued tile) and when I was unsure by looking at the pictures, Christine collected samples of the different tiles and came to our house so we could see the actual samples and make another choice. When this was ordered, Alex and his crew came in and started the demolishing of the old shower. I will say that they made every effort to keep the work area clean so that we did not have any mess tracking through the house. Our shower was 36 years old and was in terrible shape so there was some additional work to be done and this was handled promptly. The drain was cast iron and needed to be replaced so Alex brought in a plumber who did the replacement and the work proceeded with little delay. We are very happy with the shower; it looks fantastic.

I wasn't pleased with his professionalism. He did not do a good job. It was smeary, unclean and sloppy. I paid for three hours and he was here for 1 year and a half. I don't think he had my best interest at heart.

We could not be more pleased at the job they did. The tile looks great and the carpet is amazing. We saved anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500 on the carpet over what we would have paid at one of the major hardware stores. I believe the quality of carpet that we received through Synder's Carpet Care is better than we we looked at in the store. Their installation team did an outstanding job and was finished in about 5 to 6 hours. I highly recommend Snyder's Carpet Care!

Synder's Carpet Care arrived today (March 21, 2012) at 10:15. Our appointment was scheduled at 10:00 and I spoke with Christine prior to our appointment and she said she would be at my house between 10:00 and 10:30. So arriving at 10:15 was great. Christine and Brent began work immediately measuring the floor then providing an additional cost estimate. The additional cost was due to the area be cleaned and sealed was just over the area for my coupon and the additional cost was $10.00 (in my opinion that was a great price). In less than 2 hours the work was completed and the floors look wonderful. I helped with the time by having everything on the kitchen and bathroom floors moved prior to their arrival. The only item that had to be moved was the refrig and Brent moved that forward to clean and seal that area. During the cleaning Christine had a little mud on her shoe that left a mark on the carpet. Minutes later the mark was gone with no trace of it ever being there. Overall a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Had to move most of the furniture off all tile area. Snyder's came in cleaned all tile upstairs and downstairs, then went over every grout line and sealed them working there way to the door. Very quick process. My grout looks wonderful and I don't have to worry about my grout getting dingy anymore. Snyder's recommended I have it cleaned in about a year just to maintain. But they also mentioned it is guaranteed for three years, which is awesome since I have three dogs. Definitely worth doing.

After the floor and grout was clean, Christine asked if we wanted the grout sealed at $80. We said fine and they started the sealing. However, the sealant was spread across the entire floor, grout and tile by a mop. She told us if there was a film left after everything dried, it would come up with soap and water.We were advised to stay off the floor for 4 to 5 hours which we did .After coming home from going out to eat dinner (9:00 p.m.) which was 5 hours from completion of the work, the floor looked like someone had spread paste glue across the whole floor.I didn't panic tho, and broke out my Hoover Floormate floor scrubber. Even tho I used the regular amount of soap and water I usually do in my machine, I couldn't get up all the streaks and film left of the sealant. My husband called her and she called right back saying that they had never had any problems with the sealant with any other customers. They offered to come by on Saturday morning (the next day) and clean up the problem.They arrived with a five-gallon bucket and some rags and cleaned the whole floor with some "special chemicals". From what I could tell, it took off most of the sealant and they left. We have a white floor that has a shiny finish on it and it was had to see the film unless you were looking with a light shining on the side. I asked before they left, what I could use to remove any streaks we would find later and was told diluted vinegar should work. Of course, after they left and upon closer inspection, there were many more tiles that had a film that did NOT come up with even straight vinegar.We ended up having to use a Black and Decker hand-held scrubber with a nylon scrubbing pad attached that is usually used for scrubbing barbecue grills and Simple Green to get this stuff off the tiles. We spent an entire Sunday afternoon on our hands and knees scrubbing about 75% of the kitchen floor because it is a very large kitchen. Had I known that paying to have the grout sealed would have left such a mess I would not have done it. I wanted to call Christine to come back and take care of this problem but my husband didn't want to wait another day with the kitchen being all torn up and trying to stay off the floor in a kitchen isn't an easy thing. The whole reason why I hired this work was because I didn't want to be scrubbing the floor on hands and knees nor did I want my husband doing this either

We used their coupon for 300 sq ft of tile floor cleaning & sealing. They showed up on time, measured the areas to be cleaned (their measurements were accurate), and because we were slightly over the area in the coupon, it added proportionally to the cost (to which we agreed). They did an excellent job cleaning two original tile bathroom floors from 1940 as well as some newer floors. We have consistently failed to get similar results ourselves, using various mops/scrubbers/steamers, so we definitely feel that this was so worth it. In the end they sealed the grout between the tiles. They also did a nice job removing sticky tape residue from one floor. These are good people - nice, easy to work with and hard working to get great results.

They were about a half hour late. They seemed to be in a rush. The carpets were cleaner but it took a long time for them to dry. It took 12 to 24 hours for the carpets to dry and that is with fans blowing on them. I was just wondering if they pulled enough water out of the carpets for the drying to take that long. Maybe they should have taken a little more time and not be so rushed.

Fabulous, she also did ,my mom's house the same day. I never dreamed the carpets would clean up so well. WE would both recommend her to anyone and use her again.

Excellent service...prompt, professional...carpet is much cleaner than doing it myself.

This was my second time using this company. I was quoted $165 to do the four rooms and a hallway, which was acceptable. I was also hit up with the option of adding Scotchguard at $30 a room-after first declining I decided to get the two highest traffic rooms done- $165+60= $225+tx. On this visit I did not follow them around while they did the work-their first time here in 2011 was excellent-though they did use some other kind of machine they had touted on an Angie's list Big Deal. At the end of the cleaning the head woman Christine pulled out her cell phone which had a credit card reader attachment and said "the total with t-- was $288.56. I say t-- because I thought for sure she must have said "tax", but quick math in my head said that was way off. When I questioned she replied that was with a TIP-YES SHE HAD ADDED $45 AS A TIP! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I was and still am shocked. She obviously saw my surprise and back-tracked with the "Oh, you can make it a different amount of remove it all together if you like" guilt trip they teach you in used car salesman 101 class.... I mean, it's not like she walked me around the house, showing me the amazing job they did running a big vacuum cleaner... nothing. Did they go get our cat out of a tree or something while I wasn't looking?? (which would been worth at least twice the $45 as I didn't know we had a cat) No, she just thought I had a $45 Sucker look on my face and tacked it on automatically, like I just walked into Applebees with a party of 8. Oh, but it gets better.. So I tell her to go ahead and run that amount, thinking this might not be the last time I use them. She has to run the card through her machine multiple times to get it to work. How many times, do you ask? I didn't know either, as she had to take my card and that crack Wal-Mart phone outside in the heart of suburban Plano to get it to work. Place your bets Ladies and Gents....the winning answer is THREE-which I found out this morning by the three different emails from their CC service each saying they charged my card $288.56. So, let's go to the map: I just got off the phone with Wells Fargo getting THAT straightened out, and now as I'm sitting at my computer typing this with the sun shining in I see a couple of obvious spots they didn't get up.-- I guess getting those out is only included at the $60 tip level... Even with al this, it could be worse: The last carpet service I used before Snyder, one of their guys actually turned on my home theater system because he wanted to see the awesome picture he'd heard about on my new 60" Sony HD. Yeah it ROCKS, but that's not the point here, is it?. It's because of those clowns I joined Angie's List and found these folks. Looks like I'm 0 for 2 but I'm not giving up...Who'd of thought finding a good carpet cleaner would be so hard? Can't WAIT to get my master bath redone next year.. Oh, BTW, I don't recommend using Snyder's Carpet Cleaning

Christine was super responsive after I bought the big deal - I really enjoyed speaking with her, felt very confident that they could do the job and we set the date. The crew arrived on time. I already had the tile purchased and had the tile adhesive, grout and caulk for the job. They brought the tile cutter and the tools. I didn't realize at first that 1 person 8 hours was equivalent to 2 people for 4 hours - and they sent 3 people. On top of that it turned out the floor iin the bedroom wasn't level so they had to level it before they could even begin. Dumb me finally realized that 3 people was not even 3 hours worth. And I realized I didn't have a fixed cost price TO finish. Day 1 began to stretch into hours and I called the project manager requesting a fixed price for the whole installation, and registered a concern that 3 people weren't necessarily doing 3 people's worth of work. The project manager (Alex I think?) took awhile to call me back and then said he'd have to get back with me on a price...and hours began to pass. At this point I was beginning to freak out as we were approaching the 8 hour mark (=24 with 3 people) and we weren't nearly done. I did my internet reserach and figured out approximately what the job *should* cost based on market price. Alex and the team lead spoke and he finally called me back and gave me a reasonable offer, but I did express that the job shouldn't have been begun without that quote and just because I was too dumb to think about it didn't mean they didn't have a responsibility to recognize and advise me that the job was going to take *well* over the 8 hours of labor I'd bought. The team worked well into the evening and was back early the next morning to grout. Had I known what it was going to cost me up front I wouldn't have done it, because I really didn't have the money at the time. Good thing they accepted credit cards! All things considered, I'm glad I had the work done - I'm very pleased with the quality of the work. I would have them back for more tile work, or for their carpet cleaning/tile cleaning, etc. because I really think they are dedicated to doing the job right for a fair price. THAT SAID, I strongly suggest you get ask for a fixed price quote for the completed work up front to be able to evaluate if you're really getting a deal or not.

Christine is very friendly and gave me some advice on future grout cleanings. Very professional. I would definitely call them again.

I purchased the $99 Big Deal for tile and grout cleaning a few months ago. Approximately half of the flooring in my house is ceramic tile, including 2 hallways, a small galley-style kitchen and a family room area. I have pets and after 5 years, the grout was looking pretty icky, especially in a few areas. Snyder's Carpet Care was very busy from the Big Deal offer so when I called to schedule, the appointment was about 4 weeks out, which actually worked really well for me. The Big Deal I purchased was for 250 square feet, so when I made the appointment, she told me the price per square foot to clean additional areas and the price per square foot to seal the grout so I could think about that. The morning of the appointment, Christine called about an hour before she planned to arrive, as promised, to give me as estimate as to when they'd be there. She and her co-worker were prompt on arrival. They walked through and measured the area to be cleaned (I'd already emptied the family room of most of the furniture and the rest stayed) and I showed her the "trouble" grout spots. She set my expectation that they'd do their best to get the grout as clean as possible -- she couldn't guarantee they'd be able to get all of the spots completely clean and gone -- and when they were finished, I was amazed. There are some areas where my pets have had consistent accidents that were just awful and most of the stain is completely gone -- you can see a faint trace, but now it just looks like normal wear and tear. I also had them seal the grout, which has already paid off. Because I have pets, I mentioned that I wanted to replace my carpeting with laminate, so she gave me some advice on vinyl vs laminate and their price per square foot to install. She said when I was ready to discuss that, I could let her know and she could bring samples. It was all very conversational - no pressure.They were finished in approximately 2 hours -- maybe less (I wasn't watching the clock) and above the Big Deal I purchased, it was another $125 for the additional square footage and sealing, which was less than I'd expected it would come out to when I made the appointment.

Christina returned my call promptly to set up the appointment. She confirmed and then called prior to arriving for the appointment. My carpeting looks very nice now. She and her assistant finished in about half an hour, but I did not request spot cleaning or scotch guarding. She also offered tips on the best way to help the carpet dry out, such as appropriate temperature and fan control for the weather on that particular day.

I had never used this company before, and it was a good experience from start to finish. Christine called to remind me of my appointment the day before, and also called when they were on their way. Chris and Brent were very friendly, made an assessment of the work to be done, asked questions as to whether the tile had ever been waxed, questions regarding the grout, then began work promptly. They were here for two hours, working the whole time. Everything was cleaned up nicely, and I was pleased with the job they did.

All in all, the project looks great. However, the only reason I used them was because I purchased 2 coupons for 4 hours each of labor (on Angie's list). When they came to look at the project, I was informed that the amount of time/work provided by the coupons was insufficient and then provided me an actual quote. They would reduce the final invoice by the amount of the coupons. I felt this was a typical bait and switch, but I was over a barrel because I had already spent $400 on the coupons. Their field supervisor (Alex), was great, but he really worked his tail off to compensate for the shortcomings of their subcontracted installation crew. Alex had to clean our bathroom floor because the crew didn't. Alex had to arrange for the crew to return after the installation was "complete" to do some very important finish work that wasn't evident when the crew "completed" the project the first time. I don't want it to appear as if I'm not happy with the finished product, because the tile work looks great. However, I think Alex worked really hard to keep us happy.

Good job on all work and would use again.

This was the first time doing business with this company and it was a very awesome experience. My project was through Angie's List "Big Deal"and the savings received was a tremendous bargain. Alex Cortel with Synder's Carpet Care did the job and I have to rate the quality of his work as 5 stars! In addition, Alex was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable in performing his duties. He did the necessary caulking in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms and I was more than satisfied with the overall results. I had the pleasure of conversing with Christine Synder before and after the job completion and she gave me the impression that she firmly believes in excellent customer service and top-quality work by her staff. I will definitely use this company again in the future for caulking, grout restoration and carpet cleaning when the need arises. "Thumbs Up" to Synder's Carpet Care!

Christine called me the morning of to remind me. She gave me a 2-hour window that afternoon of when they would be there. She called 40 minutes before to let me know they would be there in 40 minutes. They were very friendly, quick and efficient. A very good experience!

I purchased the Big Deal for $99 for 3 hours of tile/grout repair and service. I just moved in to a new (to me) house that had been a foreclosure and needed quite a bit of TLC. The bathtubs needed serious grout and caulking help, so this seemed like a great purchase for me. Instead of one person for three hours, I got two servicemen for an hour and a half. They each took a bathroom, and they had them looking as good as new in no time at all. They even repaired the caulking around my bathroom sink area, because they had a little extra time and saw some cracking. :) The deal was for labor only, but since I had some extra supplies from prior tile work, all I needed from them was some extra caulking- only $6 extra. Overall, it was an A++ experience, and I would definitely call Snyder's again.

They did an excellent job and I would most definitely use them again. I received an email through Angieslist.com with a coupon for carpet cleaning 4 rooms for $99.00. I purcrchased the service on-line and received a phone call right away to schedule my service. The service was performed on schedule without any issues and I was very pleased with the outcome. The owner/contractor exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of carpet / upolstery cleaning.

I called Snyder to clean the commercial carpets at my office. I originally chose them because the use the rotobrush to clean. They were very easy to work with and came on a Saturday when my office is closed. When they arrived they explained that the rotobrush does not work well on glued down, commerical nap carpet. I agreed that the steam cleaning was OK. They began by pre-treating practically the entire carpet, not just a squirt here and there. Mr. Snyder and his wife worked efficiently and did a great job cleaning the carpets carefully. They have never looked better. I am very pleased with the results. They were on time and answered all my questions.
