Description of Work: Replaced hot water heater. Plumber told us if we purchased our own it would save us what they were charging, $800 for theirs. We purchased our own and they only discounted the original quote $200 instead of the full $800 which clearly stated hot water heater cost. Plumber told us he would have manager call to discuss with us and he never returned our calls.

I am so sorry that you were never contacted by our Service Manager! That service manager is no longer with us but I would be more than happy to discuss your concerns with you. I have looked up your invoice and I think I see where the confusion is. Based on the pricing of the water heater, it looks like you received approx. $600 off the installation. However, when we provide and install a water heater, there are several things that we include at no additional charge as a value add for our clients like the installation of a new ball valve, a gas flex line, a gas stop. These are things that most water heaters need replaced at the time of installation. I see here that because we did not provide the water heater and these items were needed that they were additional on the invoice. I see that there was another change that was needed on the gas line for it to comply with your city plumbing code. I am sorry for any confusion in communication about the pricing and what it was for. I only see the final invoice and not the written estimate that the technician gave to you so I would be more than happy to discuss this concern with you in detail. Description of Work: I called and asked for a quote to install a dishwasher and was told they don't quote over the phone that a tech would have to come look at the situation. I was told there was a small charge for them to come look and quote. This small fee was $50. Not so small. The tech was rather rude to my son and would not explain the quote to him. |
