The service with Dial One Johnson Plumbing was both good and bad. They were professional in every way. They gave me a quote on every aspect that they did before they did it but they were extremely pricey. For example, what I had to do was there was a leak inside the wall, just to cut inside they charge $90. Now, they said it would have been better to go where the washing machine was, to remove the washing machine and get back there and put the washing machine back was $462. he was here an hour, almost no supplies because with a leak he may have used $3 or $4 in supplies. They did real good work. They got out there within an hour.

James is very polite, knowledgable, happy about his work, courteous, cleaned up nicely, quick & prompt. I also signed up for Diamond Club with James to make our household a priority for appointments in the future. I just made an appt for a whole house inspection. Great service and I will this company and this master plumber to friends and family.

It was great, called on a Saturday @ 5:30pm and it was fixed in 45 minutes...Fast, Skilled , and Professional.

PHENOMENAL! I logged into Angie's List at about 5:30pm on 4/26 to place my order for plumbing help I found on the Deal's page. Instantly I got someone on the phone who said a specialist would call me back "same-day." I didn't expect 10 minutes! 10 minutes later I had Tony M on the phone and he said he could be at my house within 30 minutes. Tony showed up as he promised and quickly diagnosed the problem. He quickly wrote up the quote and all he needed was the coupon code from the Angie's List "Deal." We collaborated on a couple ideas and I basically left him alone. Within one hour the vanity was installed, running with NO leaks! Tony was amazing in explaining the quirks of old homes and how the water outlets were installed very low back in the day. I clearly didn't know this when I purchased the vanity. Not only was Tony M simply amazing, Dial One as a company took excellent care of me. They are fair, fast and EXTREMELY professional. I rave about Angie's to all my friends but Tony and Dial One hit a grand slam today and really saved my day. Simply amazing guys! Keeping their card on the fridge from here on out!

Overall, Dial ONe Johnson did a great job but it is pricey. Maybe I'm just poor. LOL

Overall it was wonderful. He did everything I needed. He had a few things he came back for and even added a few things that he did that he didn’t charge me for.

The plumber was very good and listened to everything we had to say. He was the third plumber from the third company we'd had out to deal with this issue, and the first one who seemed to really understand the issue and know how to fix it. We were very pleased with his work and his attitude. He was honest and straightforward about the issues he found. He could have easily told us the problem was ours to fix and charged us the $5K he estimated for the repairs, but he made sure we knew how to speak to the city crew and get them to fix it and save us the money.

We called Dial One because the plumber who was scheduled to do the work never showed. It went well. I got the 119 Angies List and called the same day and the plumber came out the next Monday. He was thorough told us what the problems were and the cost. He did a great job on the calking and new faucet and cleaned up before he left. The cost was more than I expected but they did good work. We did have to call them back out to check the toliet because there is a back-up in one of them and they are coming out March 14th.

Called in to Dial One Johnson, explained the history and problem. Explained that I had bought the Angie's List coupon, but that my printer was having issues. The office representitive was very personable with excellent customer service skills. She explained how to manage not having a paper copy, and was able to schedule the next day as the second appointment, 9:30 to 10:00 AM, with a call about 15minutes ahead of arrival. Mr. Brian Hill was on time and explained his approach to the problem, and got right to work. He came to me several times during his visit, explaining the progress of his work. The drain was cleared. No fault was found iin the line.There was concern about a possible blockage further in the line under the street. This would require the City of Cedar Hill to survey the line. Mr. Hill was very knowledgeable about how to communicate effectively with municipal services. He gave me his personal cell number in case I needed help or clarification to Municipal Services. I left a message with the City. Thanks to Mr. Hill's careful tutoring, the line was examined and cleared the next day by the city. Mr. Hill was outstanding in customer service, and I will use no other plumber now.

When company technician came he said that the cost will cover only one drain and for any other work required will be an additional charge. Also when asked if the work performed will unglog the drain he said that he will not garranty that. The whole businness looks like a classical "bait and switch". I have told the technician to leave since the company has lied to me and will request the full refund since the order was prepaid thru Angie's list. I have wasted 2 hours of my time and I will not use or recommend this company to anyone else. No work was performed

The gentlement arrived promptly and gave a complete explanation of the work necessary and costs anticipated. As the work went along there were a couple of issues, which were explained fully and options (and associated costs)given. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the detailed explanations given throughout the job.

I had an emergency and did not hear from them in time, so I ended up going with someone else and got a refund for the Deal.

I hired Dial One Johnson Plumbing, after an overflow from my washing machine drain. The price was right, the comments on Angie's List were excellent, and they used a TV camera, something municipal governments have employed for years to inspect sewer lines. The techs arrived right on time, were professional in both appearance and demeanor, cheerfully accepted my close supervision, and explained each step. When they were finished, they adjusted the mulch, so I hardly knew they were there! Quick, professional, and reasonably priced! What more would you want in a plumber?

I was incredibly impressed with their correspondence response time (even on the weekend of New Year's Eve), punctuality, friendliness and professionalism. Small touches like wearing booties inside the house - especially since it was raining that day - made the customer service experience even better. They cleared the blockage in our pipes and reported that they found roots growing inside them. Their suggestion was to replace the metal pipes leading into the bathrooms with PVC pipes, with an estimated price of $2800. As we do with most service calls, we got a second opinion. The second plumber was able to clean the roots out completely (stopping a second round of backup that had begun because of the lack of root removal) and recommended waiting to replace the pipes, as they weren't cracked or leaking. We chose not to do the replacement suggested by Dial One, but I'd like to stress that they did call it a preventative step.

They did just what they said they would do. Nothing more nothing less.

I called this morning and they arrived at my door within a couple hours. Professional, courteous and very careful not to make a mess in the house. They cleared the line and gave me the news that my pipe is shot. They took measurements / info and will be contacting me with the cost to completely replace the line. For the second time, this company has responded quickly and professionally. I am very pleased with the service I received.

Setting up the initial appointment was easy. When they first came out they determined that I needed a new disposal. I was given the option of purchasing a disposal on my own or purchasing a disposal from them. I decided I would purchase on my own (since it would be cheaper) and just paid the Service Call fee for the first visit. After I purchased the disposal I called about 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening and talked with a lady to arrange for them to come out and install. A guy called back within 15 minutes and scheduled me for Thursday between 12 & 3. Thursday about 1:00 I had a bad feeling, so I called to make sure someone was coming to do the job. Sure enough, they did not have me on the schedule! I was disappointed and a little aggravated. We ended our call so I could review my calendar and get back with them on a good day/time for me to arrange to be home again. A few minutes later I received a call from them and they were able to squeeze me in that same day after all, near the end of my scheduled window of 12 - 3. The guy from the first appointment and the two guys from the second appointment were all pleasant. My Total Cost: I paid $119.00 for a Big Deal Coupon worth $200.00 Plus I paid $54.68 directly to Dial One Johnson Plumbing I provided the garbage dipsoal

This ended up being an estimate only. The sales rep explained that their bids would be similar to other companies with high overhead.

Everything went pretty well, the drain was cleaned

The job went extremely well. You can't even tell that a major repair took place in my home. Professional, upfront, job done quickly and professionally.

The inital problem was a plumbing stoppage in my house. The plumber from Dial One Johnson Plumbing, Brad Bookman, unplugged the right-side of my house (main drain and 2 bathrooms). However, the other half of my house had rotten cast iron pipe so it could not be cleaned but had to be replaced. They ran a camera and found that about 20 ft. of pipe under my slab had to be replaced. It was also suspected that the line from my kitchen sink to this branch would also have to be replaced (about another 10 ft. or so). Brad provided an estimate of $15K that same day. After calling around I chose Brad to do the plumbing work on my house. They started the work that Friday, October 12, which was great because I hated being without my plumbing too long. They had a team that did the tunneling under my slab so they could replace the bad cast iron sewer lines with the black PVC. They did an excellent job of keeping the large mound of dirt under control. They completed the tunneling by Saturday morning and the plumbers started working on Monday morning. They explained everything they were doing, took pictures of the old pipes, showed me samples of the bad old pipe, and pictures of the new pipe they installed. As it turned out they had to do some additional tunneling as the entire sink line had to be replaced. This extra tunneling only took a couple extra hours. They completed the entire job by Wednesday, October 17th. They performed some work under my sink (to repair some damage done by a previous plumber which is another story) and verified that everything work. They ran the water from the sink, ran my dishwasher, and flushed the toilet to verify there were no leaks. They also verified everything drained to the main line and the main line also drained properly out to the street. They did this for about 30 minutes just to make sure everything worked properly which it did. The next day the tunneling crew filled the tunnel with the dirt they had removed. The ground was level and any debris was picked up and removed. You couldn't tell that anyone had tunneled under my slab after they were done! What I liked about Brad and his crew: 1. Very professional and knowledgeable. They could explain everything in terms I could understand. 2. Worked very hard. They started about 8 am and worked until about 5 or 6pm. 3. Never made a mess but cleaned up a mess left by a previous plumber. 4. They were friendly, courteous, and very easy to work with and talk to. 5. Spent some time verifying their work had no leaks or other problems. Verified all my lines were draining properly. It's been 2 months since the job was completed and everything is working great! None of the issues that I'd been seeing before (slow draining or gurgling) have reoccurred which is fantastic. I've very pleased with the work Brad and his crew did!! I would highly recommend that you at least consider using them for your plumbing needs.

He just turned the hot water heater on. Something we could not do at the time. Now we know how to turn on the hot water heater.

Very thorough and professional. We had some problems with smells coming from our drains. Another company said that we would have to replace our hot water heater ($$$). He let me know some DIY solutions and those have worked out great. He didn't try to upsell us at all

We called them on a Sunday, which they had emergency service on weekends, we schedule an appointment for Monday. They came out at the time of appointment. As they proceeded to check the drain they ran into problems that we did not expect. The main drain to the sewer line was destroyed by tree roots breaking into the pipe. They came out the next day prepared to address the problem which they did. My father was so impressed he asked them to work on our toilets so they would work better.
