Dial One Johnson Plumbing, Cooling, and Heating

Earlier on the week, the toilet in my bedroom was clogged up so I called a company that does a lot of advertising and is locatd close to me to unclop it. They came out and said the entire house was clogged up and I would have to have cleanouts installed and even that may not work, so they gave me an estimate that I thought was very much too high.On top of all this, My Mom had just passed away and a holiday weekend was approaching. So I decided to read the reviews on Angie's List and call Dial One.They explained very thoroughly that if they came out over the holiday weekend I would have to pay time and one half and if I could wait until Tuesday it would save me money, so I made the appointment for Tuesday. James, the plumber they sent out, put me at ease from the moment he got here by assuring me he would be able to get the job done.After he located the sewer line, we discovered that my home ( which was built in the 1970's) was built with the water line on top of the sewer line, so it was going to add a couple hundred dollars to my bill to move the water line. The estimate was still a few hundred dollars cheaper than my original estimate, After James got the cleanouts installed, he discovered there were two blockages, one under the house and another from the front yard to the street. He unclogged the one under the house, but it took him more time and effort to unclog the one going to the street. I was beginning to think I would have to check into a hotel just to get ready for my mother's funeral and have a place for people to come by afterwards., He assured me he would get it fixed. I wasnt as confident. He then got the other portion unlogged, but it clogged up a few minutes later when we were testing everything inside the house.Still, he wasnt giving up. After a couple more hours, everything was finally working and the job was done.I cant thank Dial One, and James enough. They truly saved the day. I have a few other non-emergency plumbing issues to fix later, Dial One has now won my businees hands down. And a special shout out to James for never giving up!!!!!

I was very happy with the professionalism and service level. They were very prompt and it appears everything was done correctly. My only complaint was that the price seemed awfully high for the work done. I almost said no and was going to get a second estimate but went ahead as one faucet was leaking badly and couldn't be fixed until the main shut off valve was fixed.

Great.. The service tech corrected the problem and then said that all we needed to pay was a service call ($49). He suggested we request a refund of the $124 for the $200 worth of work since we are getting ready to travel and will not be back until after the expiration date of the coupon. I highly reccomend this company.

I read and youtubed several how to videos it seemed easy enough but being a new home owner I didn't want to possibly do something wrong and flood our house so I decided that I better call a professional on this one. I researched a few companies but Dial One seemed to be the best bet they have a local office and were reviewed well. I called Dial One and they were able to schedule someone same day which was great. I work so I asked that the tech call me thirty minutes before he arrived. The tech was very courteous and called 30 minutes before. I met him at my house and since someone was home he had already begun to look at the issue. He then informed me that the Valve had gone out and showed me the part in question. He then gave me two options, Option 1 was to replace only the outer valve which would cost $375.00 or Option 2 go into the wall and replace the whole valve and pipe assembly which was in the $800.00 range. I asked his opinion he said he thought option 1 should last just fine since the house was not old. We went ahead and had him do the work. He asked me to verify I was happy with the water temp setting he had put it on. I was so he completed the repairs The total was $375.00 + the $49.00 service call. I used a coupon I found online for $75.00 off a service of $350.00 or more which saved me the service call fee and then some. The tech was in and out in a total of about an hour and half. I thought the price was a little steep but the fact they Dial One was able to get me in so quickly and all the Employees I dealt with were very courteous and professional would make me definitely use them again.

I scheduled an appointment and was told there was an additional trip charge in case services were not completed. Since I had pre-paid I would need to use the services and did not think additional fee should be required. This big deal is not really $124 for $200 of services.

Purchased plumbing deal on angie's list for $200. Plumber was on time and finished the job quickly. Had to get garbage disposal replaced. The Plumber was patient as I had many questions about the replacement. Did a great job, will use them again.

The additional costs for materials, etc. were not worth it.

They sent out on of the best techs that I have ever seen. He was absolutely excellent in every way.

Called to have water heater replaced but was told a tech would have to evaluate what is needed. For this there was $48.00 service call charge. Asked if the call charge is waived if I were to go ahead and have the water heater replaced by them. Told no but they have a coupon for $35.00 credit that will help reduce the cost. Asked even if I already know I want the water heater replaced? Service charge will still apply. Told to look for a coupon. I called them to replace the heater and had already made my mind up to go with their services because of Angies List reputation and I am not going to try and track down coupons. Most companies will waive the initial service call if the work is performed by them since they are already on location.

I had bought a new water heater that replaced same type of heater and wanted it installed/hooked up. Plumber refused to do it unless I agreed to have $1700 (estimated) worth of electrical work done as well. He claimed that electrical is not 'up to code'. I still had to pay for a service call but received no actual service. This form does not allow me to put in actual address where service was to be done because it was not at home where I live.

Tony came out and installed my new garbage disposal and sink pipes. knowledgeable and efficient. He also offered suggestions for other work that might be wise to do. About a week later I wish I had taken him up on his suggestions, as I discovered an old shut off valve supplying water to the dishwasher no longer functioned. I discovered it when replacing my dishwasher. had to turn off water to the entire house! This happened the day my wife was sent to the hospital by doc to have her baby. So, my wife with a new baby, in-laws arriving and no water! A-1 helped me out again and sent James to the rescue the next morning (on a Saturday). He was very professional and conscientious; he examined the situation, explained my options, gave me estimates, and then took care of the work in less than 2 hours. We had very good experiences with Tony and James. will seek out A-1 again in the future.

He gave me the estimate. I looked at it and said, "No way." He was really professional, direct and honest. He just packed his stuff up and went on his way. He said they charge you for each item separate. They didn't make it one package. He was dressed professionally. I ended up using a handyman I've used for some other work and his estimate was less than I paid him actually. I ended up giving him more than he charged me.

Everything was great! Timing was great and all repairs were explained very well. Thanks for all the work!

I paid for this deal and felt the vendor should have disclosed the $48.95 service fee in the Fine Print section of the deal. The vendor's deal stated no refunds so I never asked the vendor for a refund out of respect for having read that particular rule. I called Angie's List to offer my feedback and was prepared to simply let the vendor take the $124 and not use their service. Fortunately Angies List agreed the $48.95 should have been disclosed in the fine print section of the deal and offered a refund to me of the full $124. I appreciate the refund from Angies List. I do hope the vendor responds to this concern by disclosing the $48.95 service call fee in the fine print of their offer. Since the vendor did no work for me by my choice I have no way to rate their actual work, but my grade relates to the issue with the lack of disclosure of the $48.95 service call fee in the Fine Print of the Big Deal offered. I work with other vendors who charge a fee to come out, but if I choose them to do the job when they are there at that time, they choose to credit the service call amount to the price of the job. My discussion with this vendor was that they would not do this. I did try two additional occasions to reach out to contact vendor representative Michelle Johnson who wrote me in response to my purchase and who had specified the $48.95 service call fee in that initial response. I tried twice over a few hours, but was unable to speak with her. It was after these two attempts in a brief period of time I decided to call Angies List. Thanks Angies List!

It went great! He was on time and did what I needed him to do. He was helpful in fixing my running toilet. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work.

I was very pleased with the technician's knowledge of a problem with my sink faucet and was able to remedy it. His name was James. He's a young man and I was very impressed with his knowledge and ability, even though the builders couldn't fix it under warranty. He was very helpful and gave me lots of information. Very efficient and reasonable, and I will definitely use Johnson Plumbing again.

They were timely, professional and friendly.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the gentleman's name. However, he was amazing. We purchased the hands-free Kohler faucet. Although he hadn't installed one before, he ACTUALLY read the instructions. He installed it with no hiccups. In addition, the thing that most impressed me was that he saw that the door on the sink was crooked and straightened with a screwdriver. He also showed me how to do it myself.

I had a toilet back flowing and a tub that wasn't draining. I had a company (well known/popular name) out before Dial One Johnson-Heritage Plumbing came. They quoted me about $1700 and that also included jack hammering my slab foundation to get to the main line to fix the problem. I would also be incurring more charges to have that cleaned up. Dial One came and said there was no issue that they saw with my main line, just needed to have a new ring placed around my toilet that the old one was just plain old and they blew out some clog in the main line. $400 later and 3 months so far no issue at all.

I had previously been told by other plumbers that there was no outside access. So the plumber went up on the roof to clear the lines, but he soon discovered water bubbling up in my front yard. It turned out there was an outside access, which was covered over by grass and dirt. He was then able to work from the ground level to clear the lines, which were clogged with tree roots out near the curb. He did an excellent job, kept me informed as he progressed, and completed the entire job in about two hours. He was very friendly and professional.

Our experience with Dial One couldn't have been better! I was greeted with a cheerful voice when I called on New Year's Day with our toilets, tubs and shower drains backed up. I was told the technician would call soon to schedule his visit. James called within minutes. He informed me it would be time and a half because of the holiday so I could decide if I wanted to wait until the next day. That wasn't an option for us but we appreciated being informed about the additional charge. James came at the scheduled time, performed the service and directed me to Dial One's website to see if there were any coupon offers, which there were so that saved us $75. James was a very nice young man, professional and we were impressed with him. We will definitely use Dial One again.

James was punctual and very professional, yet personable. He explained what was wrong and explained the charges. He augured out the stopped up pipe for no extra charge. I am very pleased with his work.
