The provider, was prompt, polite and professional. The work was done timely and was exactly what we agreed to have done. I would recommend them to anyone and I would use them again.

They charged my card again after already paying. The price wasn't what they advertised. We weren't real happy with working with them. They did correct the second charge. I would not recommend them to anyone. The guy that came and did the work was very nice but the owners and administrative staff weren't very professional.

I have used Dial 1 several times and called them immediately and they had a technican just finishing a job. Their technican, James Watson, got here in about 45 minutes he was on the other side of town. Recognized the problem immediately and went to work with Roto Router equiment and camera. Once that was done everything emptied out of line. He made sure everything was working like it should before he left and their office even called to see how everything had gone. Really nice people.

James came out and ran the auger in the line. He ran water in the line to make sure it was clear before he left. He had to run the auger once more and also put a camera in the line so I could see where the issues were. When he came inside to flush the toilets (he asked permission first), he put shoe covers on. He took his time, was very kind, polite and professional and totally committed to being sure I was satisfied with his service. I would definitely refer them to anyone!

They called back within a half hour on a Sunday and showed up within a half hour to 45 mins - they were totally professional - fixed the problem easily and quickly and did not charge an arm and a leg - very happy with the technician, the company and the price - will use them again and again.

He solved my issue over the phone and did not charge me a penny.

The company made an effort to get to me today which I appreciated. The plumber who came was polite. HOWEVER.....I was quoted from 400 to 888 dollars depending on whether he had to remove a copper fitting from the cast iron drain pipe. He agreed the total time would be around 2 hours or so for the work to be completed and parts wouldn't be more than $20 or so. So....I did the math and it comes out to from $200 to $420 dollars and hour for labor. I was told that there was flat pricing as opposed to pricing based on time and materials....I could accept that, if when I converted the flat pricing to a time and materials price it was reasonable.....I will just do the work myself. It will likely take me longer than 2 hours, but I can do it on the weekend in my spare time. I will give them credit for one thing.......at first I was going to be charged a $48.95 service charge for 7 -10 minutes of looking at the problem and writing me a quote......The gentleman did waive the service charge which I appreciate considering that they would have collected nearly $50 dollars to walk in the door and do essentially nothing at all.......Had the pricing been reasonable, I would have used them.

It was great. He was a fine, young man with good manners that worked hard. It was a great experience. Couldn't have been better. It was the best experience I've ever had with a plumber!

I had used James earlier to unstop a clogged drain, and was please with the service. He arrived during the time indicated, was professional and explained multiple options to address the problem and the corresponding cost and left with the assurance that I could call them any time I had a problem. Would definitely use again.

The tech was very curtious and efficient. He showed us what needed to be done and explained why it needed to be done. It was a very good experience thank you.

Couldn't be happier with the level of service. Tech was incredibly honest about what was causing the issue, and even offered to let me repair it myself and refund my money after describing what was wrong. Even answered un-related plumbing questions (about tankless water-heaters), and answered them honestly without trying to up-sell. Will definitely use again if we have any other plumbing issues.

I need a valve body replaced in my shower. The only option Dial One gave me was to replace all the plumbing in my house to the tune of $7,000. I understand that in the future that would be a nice thing, but seemed a bit extreme seeing as the only problem right now is the shower. I will say that the scheduling girl and the technician James were very nice. Just be aware that this company isn't into small fixes or working with old houses with galvanized plumbing... they want to make the big money. I took the quote and called another plumber who was willing to work with my old pipes...

James came - we had called three plumbers - they were the first to get back to us in a very timely manner and came quickly - within a 1/2 hour - on a Saturday and a holiday weekend. We were very grateful - and James was very professional - the office personnel as well - and we learned that this a woman owned company - which pleased me. Overall very reasonable - well done - very very pleased.

spent quite a bit of time ..came out three times. replaced regulator twice... and charged us for it In the end we hired someone else

James did a great job. He arrived when expected and informed me of everything that was going to be done. He picked up the new heater and installed it quickly. He answered my questions and helped me locate the best coupon to use.

I have an older house with some sub-par drainage. The draining is OK at best but not good due to poor build. The drain was clogged and I was unsuccessful trying to unclog it myself. I hired Dial One Johnson because I had used 2 or 3 times in the past with other plumbing issues. They are always very responsive and ontime. In this particular situation, they didn't resolve the problem the first time so they had to come back later in the day. Upon return, two technicians came with some new tools and did resolve the problem. I was very pleased with their service just as I was the first 2-3 times using them. Top notch company.

The service went fine. I had them repair some seals and replace a water heater. I paid an additional fee to have them do some other plumbing work while they were at my home. I thought their pricing was reasonable. One technician came out for the job and did a good job. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service.

The plumber was on time and courteous, and explained the service and price list, however the initial big deal service was misleading, Had I known all the fact, that I would have to pay an additional $50 for diagnosis, and the $200 savings was for amount off not two hours of service, I would have realized that I was paying $200 to save $25 off the total cost of service. The big deal is misleading and needs to be reworded. Also the $50 diagnosis needs to be included in the big deal offer.

I called because of great Angie's List reviews. My grade is on cost alone. The part cost less than $10 and the labor would be 1-2 hours max. They want to charge $630! (and be sure that they will try to sell you on additional services on top of any quote). I don't mind paying for great service, but this is just beyond reasonable. I think its criminal because most people probably don't realize how cheap the parts are. Luckily, I will repair it myself for $5. But I would have paid up to $300 just for the inconvenience of doing it myself. Their service technician said I can't get a plumber out for less than $600...hmm. Maybe not, but I will try someone else in the future. Dial One prices are for their excellent service and the desperate and unknowledgeable customers willing to overpay for it.

I bought a Big Deal coupon for a tankless water heater flush and had Dial One come out to do that.

This call was to perform a simple insurance inspection. They wanted to charge me $225 for a one hour inspection!!! This company charged me $50 to explain a charge of $225. An inspection they have performed several hundred times. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. I would tell anyone in Cedar Hill to find another business to find a more reputable plumber that charges reasonable prices.

The service technician arrived on time and was very friendly and personable. We chatted about the details of the job. I was very disappointed to find out the their pricing for most general work was a base sticker price of $289. I had changed plumbers recently because the last work I had done was at a rate of $219, so this made my old plumber seem like a bargain. I was very grateful for the coupon because it did save me some money, but to still have to pay over $200 for just installing a kitchen faucet (which took all of about 30 minutes) seemed over priced to me. The service was great, but the cost was extreme! I will not be calling them again - I hope!

Brian looked at the area where I had already dug up the plastic pipes. They were not fully exposed at this point. He went back to his truck and came back with an estimate of: $538.12 to repair the leak, $323.44 for "major limited accessibility (roots), and $48.95 service fee for a total of $910.51. I told him that was way too high. He said these were "book" rates and he had to quote the maximum prices because he did not know at this point if there were going to be any special difficulties to the job. He said he would possibly be able to lower the charges when he completed the work. I told him to go ahead thinking that he would lower the charges significantly. Brian spent two hours digging out more dirt to expose the "T" joints, cutting away a 6" piece of a 2" tree root that had pressed on the pipes, cutting and gluing in new pipe sections, and waiting for the glue to harden. He then pressure tested the lines and put the dirt back. I had an Angie's coupon for $75. He subtracted the $48.95 Service Fee and applied a 10% discount for a total bill of $707.79. This was for two hours work and I had done the initial digging to locate the area of the leak. On further checking on typical rates on the internet I believe this charge should have been about $100 lower.
