Went well. Steve showed up to give me a free estimate on time. He provided me with some different options for systems. I selected the :middle of the road" system. The other guys who quoted me did not do this. He was responsive to my follow up questions. Steve and crew arrived on time and got the unit installed in very tight place. I was glad that I selected Accu-Temp.

Got it up and running again, in one hour.

I would recommend them for their professionalism and promptness. I just think they're very thorough in what they do. The company I was using before was a lot higher, so I would definitely give them an A on price for the preventative maintenance.

We asked Steve to install the UV light into our A/C. Rafael from Steve team came on the agreed day, was very courteous and installed the light as agreed. Before the installation I needed to check the maintenance cost. Tina was very responsive and referred me to a place where I can buy the bulb. So far we used AccuTemp twice (so two reviews from me). Thank you to Steve and to his team.

I highly recommend AccuTemp. I woke up Sunday morning to our first cold spell and no heat. I called AccuTemp at about 9:30am, who I might add was highly recommended by a neighbor, and left a message not expecting a return call until Monday morning. Much to my surprise I received a call back within an hour and was told they would try to get a technician out on Sunday. By 1:30 the technician had arrived, troubleshot and repaired my system. The next surprise, no extra Sunday service charge, in fact the service charge was deducted from the price of the replacement part. Their response, timeliness, professionalism and fair pricing means they will be my first call for any future heating or air conditioning need.

Our A/C stopped cooling. The service provider I used in the past was swamp with work and we called different providers found thru Angie's. Tina at AccuTemp was first to return our call and Steve came to our rescue that Saturday. Steve (the owner, as I later realized) was very courteous, reasonable, knowledgeable and just great to deal with. He found three issues (worn wiring in the outside unit, plugged drainage and too dense filter, causing the A/C to freeze), fixed them all and returned on Monday to check the unit and to do an additional drainage pipe blow. The A/C runs as a charm since that. I will definitely be calling AccuTemp again when needed. Thank you, Steve, thank you, Tina!

Last week our A/C started to go on the fritz - not cooling like it should. The unit outside was only 2 years old (installed by AccuTemp), so I checked the attic. Sure enough, condensation pooling everywhere, zone control board not appearing to function properly. I called AccuTemp, as they had been wonderful two years ago, and was THRILLED to see Steve standing on my doorstep once again. He is friendly, approachable, reassuring, and not the least bit smarmy or looking to scam you into anything you don't actually need. After showing me the problem in the attic (control board no longer talking to the dampers), he quickly determined the board was no longer good. As it has to be ordered, he went ahead and did a stop gap fix (cut into venting and manually opened the dampers for so the air could start flowing through). When I asked him what the damage would be for the work, he just laughed and said don't worry about it, just glad we have some cold air for you right now. He is ordering a new control board and will be back next week when it comes in. I expect that visit to be just as wonderful as the others. If you live in the Austin area and have HVAC issues, I cannot reccomend AccuTemp and Steve highly enough. Call them with confidence.

Steve and another gentleman arrived right on time. They evaluated the issue I told them about and flushed the lines and cleared the blockage. They also inspected the entire unit and let us know that it was in good working condition. They found several small leaks that we did not know about and repaired them. Steve is going to research my second issue and promised to get back to us on pricing and availability.

From start to finish the experience was great. The bid was honest and fair. They were respectful and on time. The work done was fast but professionally done. I had several bids done and a few got greedy and a few lied to me about this or that. Accutemp was the only company that was honest and fair. Thanks for a great job!!!!! Highly recommended.

Our heat pump turns itself off and won't turn back on. Sometimes, we shut the breaker and pull the fuse and it will restart, but not today. We've had 4 different companies out to 'fix' it. AccuTemp diagnosed why the heat pump wasn't working. Found my 2 stage heat pump was wired up to run on only 1 stage. As well, the temperature differential in the compressor was set wrong. So, if the difference between the actual temperature and the temperature the thermostat is set at is large, the 2nd stage is supposed to turn on. But, the 2nd stage wasn't wired up so the AC stopped working. Plus, when it was on, the compressor wasn't pushing air through as quickly as it should. He fixed these things and now not only is my heat pump working, it is working correctly. I'm looking forward to having more cooling power as well, since the 2nd stage has never worked. An added bonus to this fix, is that now the heat pump will also be able to heat the house. Since the 2nd stage didnt work, the autoswitch over from ac to heat didn't work. In the winter, we set the thermostat to heat. In the summer to cool. If we set it to autoswitch, it just stopped working. In the winter, the heat pump did no heating at all. Instead, the emergency heat strips did the job. I think our bills will be lower in the winter now that the system is working properly. Best money ever spent! So glad we found Accu Temp. Do yourself a favor; bypass the rest and just get the job done right the first time by hiring these guys. Friendly and polite repair man. Willing to explain the problem. Reasonably priced.

Very well. Only minor hiccups, which they took care of. Also very helpful with paperwork and inspection for Austin Energy Rebate. Very responsive by email.

Excellent service from the initial call to the office and prompt, professional service from the technician. A/C stopped working and they were able to get the tech. out quickly between jobs. He replaced the failed switch and got it running immediately. Going to use them for regular maintenance/checkups on the A/C from now on.

I can't say enough good things about this company. We had a coil that was only 3 years old that already needed replacing and the company that originally installed the unit wanted to charge a fortune for labor. I wanted to get another estimate and had heard that Accu-Temp was a very reputable company and read all the stellar reviews on Angie's List and they are all true. Tina was always so pleasant getting information and setting everything up. Steve called and came by to get model numbers when he said he would and his price was much much better than the others. The crew that installed the coil was also on time, very professional and insisted on cleaning up every little spec of dirt. AC works great and we couldn't be happier. We even received a thank you note from the company for choosing their service. How nice is that! Accu-Temp will definitely be my go-to company from now on.

My experience with Steve was extremely good! He immediately knew what to start troubleshooting...didn't pull any "salesman-like" tactics to sell me anything I didn't need. He was extremely patient with my questions regarding the capacitor and how he went about of checking it.

I came back from a business trip, at the start of the Memorial Day weekend, to find my air wasn't working. Knowing it was a holiday weekend, I called AccuTemp and left a message on Steve's voice mail letting him know of my situation, that it wasn't urgent because the weather was very agreeable, and could he give me a call back at his earliest convenience. After the holiday, we made an appointment and Steve came out promptly at 5:00 PM as agreed. I was very pleased that they were willing to work around my work schedule and set the appointment at the end of the day. Steve was very nice, very professional; he took his time to make sure I understood everything he was doing, and why. He quickly and efficiently diagnosed the failure as a bad control board and motor-started capacitor. He took the model & serial numbers from the control board, let me know he would have to order the replacement, that he would pick it up the next morning, and asked when would be a good time to return to install it. Having been through this same scenario with another furnace, in another house, with another HVAC company, I had a good idea what I was looking at in terms of cost: Control board: $225 Capacitor: $60 Labor: $150 Total repair cost: $435 We agreed that repairing this as soon as possible would be best and scheduled the follow-up appointment for 10:00 AM the next day. Steve arrived promptly at 10:00 AM the next morning with parts in hand. He installed everything and checked out the whole system in about 90 minutes. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got Steve's bill, directly via e-mail to my cell phone: Control board: $216, nine dollars less than expected Labor: $168, eighteen dollars more than expected Total repair cost: $384 Steve didn't even charge me for the capacitor! So all told, I payed about twelve percent less than what I was expecting to pay, based upon comparable service with another company. Add to that Steve's friendly, thorough, patient explanation of all the considerations with my system and I'm always going to call Steve at AccuTemp for any HVAC work I need in the future!

It was excellent! I highly recommend them. They are super nice. I dealt with 2 guys, one of them was the owner named Steve. They were both super friendly and they gave me some tips on how to keep the unit running because of the age. I would definitely use them again. I have a friend who had air conditioning problems and I referred them to her.

Unlike the other 3 contractors we called out, Steve gave us several money saving options to consider and we did end up saving money by going with Accutemp. Steve (when he came out to do the bid) & Rafael (when he came out to perform the service) were both prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and super honest. They seemed to really care about our situation, and didn't treat us like just another customer. I highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services. We're confident that our new mini-split system was done right, and we will be calling them back out for yearly maintenance. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Accutemp! Called on a Friday needing service on a Saturday. Arrived on time, performed service timely and charged fairly for the service call.

Their service was excellent. I woke up that morning and my heater was not working. I tried several things but could not get it started. When I called, the young lady, was very sympathetic and said she would try to have someone out that afternoon. If possible earlier. They were able to send someone out that afternoon, it took him about 30 minutes to locate the problem and fix it. I had them out this past spring to check my AC unit and I was very pleased with their work at that time also. I will definitely call them first for any Heating anc AC problems.

He was professional, came on time, and did a fantastic job. Other companies (Precision Air& 1 other company) told us that the evaporator coil was not under warranty and bid $1200.00 more. Steve looked at the unit and determined that it was still under warranty. He completed the job quickly, was extremely humble and polite, and worked in 100+ degree heat in the attic. We would definitely call Steve again. I wonder if he repairs cars; we could use a great mechanic! Thank you, Steve!

He was outstanding. I have used him again and he is the best. AccuTemp Air Conditioning & Heating is a highly trustworthy, excellent guy. He took his time. He doesn't charge. He is very honest, upfront and clean. He is fully trustworthy. The experience is so good that if anything happens, I will call him again. Once, he misdiagnosed something and he did some work and he ordered a new part and put it but he didn't charge for it because he said it's his own mistake. It was a very honest acknowledgement. He didn't charge for the time he spent and for the replacement he did, he did it all free of cost. That is just hard to see in this industry especially when you don't have knowledge of what they're doing. For someone to spend so much time and not charge for their time is quite nice.
