Very well. The provider was very helpful, reasonably priced, and completed all repairs needed! I needed to complete the repairs by a certain date to complete the sale on my home and the provider worked with me to support this request. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

It never went... never responded to my emails and, when I tried to call, I got a generic answering machine message... Left message but no return phone call.

It was fine. He knew what he was doing. He was honest and helpful. Scheduling was hard but I understood since it's a small shop. Once he was able to come out he did a great job. You have to be accomdating to schedule because it’s a small shop. It took him 2 hours to do the work. He said he would gladly come out to do the 2 hours for the rest of the work which is unbelievable.

The deal expired. I contacted the provider and thought ip we could work something out, but it never happened. I ended up using Jesse's Painting from Angie's List. Probably the best thing that could have happened because Jesse was fabulous. I did not use his deal but just contracted with him the normal way.

We contacted TLC due to an Angie's list deal of buy 1 double-hung window & get 1 free deal. I looked up TLC's history and they had good reviews so I called them for an appointment. Wayne Martin, the owner of TLC, came out to our house on time and was really nice. He listened to our concerns and what we were trying to accomplish with our severely inefficient home (you could fee the wind coming in from our 25 yr old windows). We wanted new windows but weren't looking to spend the $$$$ we were quoted from several other companies. It was such a nice experience to have someone that listened and was willing to do as little or as much as we wanted. Wayne was a no pressure personality, stating he was there to earn our business for a lifetime, not just one job. He readily provided all his background information and proof of proper insurance, etc. He moved at a pace that was comfortable for us given the large decision and he didn't require us to commit same-day. After working through several options we had laid out ( one where we replace a couple windows, one where we replace all the windows and added fancy styles, etc, and one that was all windows but not fancy styling), we chose the 3rd option as we felt it gave us the most for our money while accomplishing what we ultimately wanted (nice home with no drafty windows). This ultimately lead to the replacement of all 22 windows in our home, add one window, remove 1 window, and change 4 large sliding windows to double-hung windows so that our home now has 26 windows. The nicest part was Wayne didn't require us to pay until we were happy with the result. He wanted us to trust him to do good work so he would trust us first. I thought that was an honest sentiment you don't see with many companies anymore. After Wayne measured and ordered the windows, it took about a 6 weeks for them to arrive from the manufacturer. Three windows arrived incorrect (Wayne showed me the order and it was a manufacturer mistake) - Considering we ordered 26 windows, it wasn't a surprise to me. Wayne inspected the order when it arrived, caught the errors and had the replacements ordered right away. Since we were getting custom built windows it took about 2 weeks for the replacements to arrive. Throughout the window installation process, Wayne keep great communication with us. As Wayne is a small business contractor, it was actually a gentleman named, Sammy, that performed the removal, construction (to add one windows and removed another window), and installation of all the windows. Sammy really just as friendly and would answer any nosy questions I had while remaining professional and staying on task. Sammy also adjusted easily when we asked Wayne to add few additional tasks (re-trim our front door to match the windows). There was only one hiccup, Sammy had two young guys helping when he first started the job but then they stopped showing up and he had to fire time. However, it didn't effect the schedule and Sammy was able to carry on without them. Being a DIY person myself and watching him work, he really demonstrated craftsmanship, such that a year later, I'm still impressed. I highly recommend them to neighbors and family so I'm writing this review to show my thanks.

It didn't go. I was effectively, at this point, ripped off.

They did a good job. It did take them quite a while to get out to do the work and they went over in time to compensate for it taking so long to get out to do work. This was a big deal because there was a deadline for insurance purposes.

After several delays and postponements, some my fault, mostly his, we managed to speak on the phone and set a time for a representative to come and look at the job. Two men arrived approximately on time. I spent about a half-hour with them, discussing what needed to be done under the Angie's List coupon and what extras needed to be done in addition to the basic service. We set a date and time for them to come and do the repairs. On the day, about fifteen minutes before they were due, I received a call saying that the "technician's" truck had broken down and that they would call and set up another appointment. I never received a call. I did find a message on the AL site saying they would call. No call. I sent several messages requesting they contact me to set up an appointment. No call. It will soon be a year later and no one has shown up yet to do the repair. I want the money, $149.00, returned so I can go in search of someone who would actually do the job!

They were prompt and professional. I purchased the 2 hr service off Angie's List and I was very pleased with the help the company provided.

The service was one person for 6 hours or 2 for 3 hours. They called in advance and showed up in time. I showed them 4 items that I wanted them to work on. (1) Repair a cracked garage door window - I thought it was plexiglass but it was really glass that was cracked. He was able to take out the glass and then had to go to Lowe's to pick up the replacement glass for garage window frame. Once he returned he put the glass with frame back in. This took longer than expected and was two man job. I am glad I did not try to do this myself. I was very pleased with results. (2) Drywall repair - I had a hole in my garage wall and the helper replaced the drywall and taped/floated. This job was done pretty easily and was OK to my satisfaction since it was in the garage. If it was inside, I would have probably wanted a little more precision. (3) Loose tile - He repaired the once loose tile by gluing it back down and then re-grouted. This came out great. I was extremely pleased. (4) Add electrical outlet in closet - He was unable to perform this task because he was not a licensed electrician. Overall this was a pretty good deal however in hindsight, I would have had more handyman tasks for them to complete. Since he was not able to install the electrical outlet, I didn't have more tasks to fill in my time.

I purchased this Big Deal April 24, 2014. I had an email from them a few days later asking for my phone number which I sent. I have heard nothing since then and now I am seeing bad reviews on them on Angie's List.

OK after we were finally able to get a good day to complete the work

The team was excellent from start to finish. They contacted me promptly after I purchased a Big Deal to let me know they were backed up for a couple of weeks, which was fine, then called again to schedule the job. They showed up right on time and did exactly what I needed. The workmanship was first-rate, and they are very polite and professional. I will definitely use them again for any handyman or contractor services in the future.

The reason I bought this was because I thought the company would contact us within 3 business days, and I never received a response. This defeated the purpose beacuse I needed to have this resolved within 3 days. I contacted them numerous times on multiple occasions. They always had an excuse as to why they couldn't stop by. It went very well. Texas Leisure worked quickly and professionally. The owner, Mr. Martin and his assistant did an excellent job on replacing and painting the wood. My chimney looks wonderful. I would use Texas Leisure again without hesitation.

Contacted Wayne to get an estimate to move a wooden gym set from my neighbors yard to my yard. He came and gave an estimate of $200 to move the set. On Wed, Apr 30th I contacted (via text )Wayne to ask when he would be able to move the set.I want to be very fair so I will included the text messages verbatim: Me (Apr 30th) Good Morning. Will you be able to move the set this week Wayne (Apr 30th) Good Morning how about saturday morning? Me (Apr 30th) Saturday is good. What time Wayne (May 1st) Regina...missed your last text...between 8 and 8:30 am on Saturday Me (Sat, May 3rd) Are you still coming? Plz call me I made several attempts to contact Wayne by phone. He called me at 9:38 to tell me that I never confirmed that Saturday was good. My text clearly states that I told him that Saturday was good. he told me that he would call me on Monday to let me know if he would be able to move the set either Wednesday or Thursday because he had a big job they were working. He called on Thursday and left a message saying that he would be able to move the set on Saturday morning. Unfortunately, that was Mother's Day weekend and my children were in town so I was not available. I decided to seek services from another provider that is more dependable.

They didn't finish. They came out one time and they're supposed to come back but didn't. I'm a little bit upset about getting Angie's Lists for referrals because it usually ends up happening. Whenever there's an Angie's List special it just brings on some new customers or smaller businesses that kind of over run. They're not ready for it. I tried actually three times. The owner came out and left what I've needed to have done. It was several things that were needed to be done. He did send somebody out but there were things that haven't been done. When he calls me back to check the work, there were trim pieces. We had an exterior door trim and they were re-doing some spots that had run so he was supposed to replace those but then I had a couple spots so his going to replace those at one time. When they finally did get out, they didn't complete everything so I was a little bit disappointed.

The owner, Wayne, is a very pleasant person and competent at his job. It took several months for us to finally get together and meet up to accomplish the repair, which was disappointing, but once he got here, he did what he said he would do and seems to have done a good job. Apparently his ad on Angie's list was so successful that he got more jobs than he could handle all at once, leading to the delay.

Called the Texas Leisure Company to schedule a time to get an estimate. Wayne Martin said he had gotten an overwhelming response to the Big Deal offer and would get back to me. After a month with no response I called again and got the same wishy washy response - but polite. I figure he is doing the big jobs and people like me with little jobs are on his do not call list. I understand money talks and sympathize with his dilemma. Consequently, I want a refund.

I bought this coupon on nov 8. The day Mr. Martin came he explained to me that I was customer 34 of 35 coupon purchasers. He explained that it would be mid january before he could fo the work. The third week in january I still hadn't received an estimate. Fast forward to getting my estimate the middle of february. Mr. Martin offered me an option for applying aluminum siding over my homes trim. Still waiting for that estimste, never got a response to my request to start the work without the siding. Never got a sample photograph of the siding on a home even though he asked for my email address to send a photo to. In all, I was seriously disappointed in the response. And now theres another coupon for window installation?

Contacted the provider twice and was politely told both times he was overwhelmed with work because of the Angie's List Big Deal and would get back to me as soon as he could. As of now I haven't heard a peep from him for almost two months. I purchased this Angie's List Big Deal on 11/14/13 and the promotional value expires on 3/11/14 and I doubt I will hear from Texas Leisure Company before the expiration date. I was in no rush and would be willing to wait a while longer because of the good reviews this company does get once work is actually done, but with the expiration of the so called "Big Deal" almost here I can't wait any longer. I recommend Angie's List use caution in letting small family run companies advertise Big Deals when they aren't up to the task in handling potentially big workloads. For me personally, it put both Angie's List and Texas Leisure Company in a negative light for making what could have been a Big Deal into a Big Bust. Right now I am out $149 and I want my money back. Angie, I want my money back!

I cannot provide you with a review until the jobs are done. They won't be accomplished until mid-December. Thank you, Chris Rothe Wayne Martin, owner of Texas Leisure was absolutely wonderful, honest and professional. He and his helper, Lee, did an amazingly excellent job and I've asked him to return when he gets caught up (he's really swamped), to please do work on the back part of the house. There were days he worked till 8:00 PM to get everything right. I waited for him because it was wonderful to work with such a fine, diligent Christian who wouldn't stop working till the replacement work was done correctly and I know that no more will critters be able to access my attic. What a relief! I have other work, also, that I would very much like for him and his company(ies) to do. I wouldn't hesitate one bit to highly recommend Wayne Martin for wood rot restoration or construction work! I'm so glad I found him through Angie"s List. Thank you so much!

Wayne and Lee were fantastic. Wayne was prompt in coming out in November to survey the work I wanted to have performed and offered options. I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for 4 hours of work and knew it would be more than the hours allocated. Due to overwhelming response to the Big Deal, Wayne was a little backlogged but I was not in a hurry so we didn't schedule to complete the work until the first week of February. Wayne and Lee were professional and completed the work in very cold conditions. Wayne kept me informed as they made progress on the work and pointed out any issues they found that needed attention as well. Wayne will be coming out to estimate and do more work for us in the next month.

They were overwhelmed by the intial response from Angie's list. They came out to the house within a 7-10 days to do the survey. They inquired about how urgently I needed the job down and I said no hurry. So mid November turned into mid December and that turned into colder weather and holidays. It wasn't until late January before they were ready to start the work. When they did start the work they stayed at it over 2 days and finished it. It was much more than the original offer stated but I needed the work done. They were professional and very helpful in explaining what they were going to do and with what product they were going to install, cedar. I was disappointed with how long it took to get the job started but I am very plaesed with the job they did! Patience paid off and it was worth the wait! I plan on using them again!
