Description of Work: A friend referred them to me. Called them to ask about Over the Range Microwave install with a vent going out the wall. They responded very quickly and in fact were able to come over and install the same day (I was lucky!). Very professional, friendly and courteous. I will recommend them for anyone!

Description of Work: My dryer was not drying properly so I called Vent Craft to clean the dryer duct. When they came they discovered that the dryer was actually not venting outside but had been venting into the wall probably since the house was built!!! They were very professional and the price was very reasonable for the work done. Definatley would recommend them for remodeling work as I might use them myself in the future.

+ -1 moreThe secretary did not sound friendly in the initial phone call. But the technicians were friendly. They did their job efficiently - I think from having a lot of experience. They cleaned up well. The new range hood and duct work very well.
Description of Work: removal of old unducted range hood make a hole in the brick wall just above the the new range hood wil be. install new ducted range hood. install duct to connect new range hood to opening in wall. install external cover for hole in wall - including damper

+ -1 moreWe called Vent Craft - they came out the same day - two men performed the clothes dryer vent clean-out. The repairment left the laundry room and roof in clean condition. No complaints.
Description of Work: Vent Craft cleaned out a very clogged clothes dryer vent - accessed the vent on the roof and at the dryer itself. Everything seems to be clear and open now.

+ -1 moreElectrician was able to install the new cook top and wire it, but the existing downdraft duct work was not compatible. Called Vent Craft on a Friday, and they had a tech out on Monday morning to re-do the ducting. Took about an hour to completely replace the duct work from the exhaust fan to the exterior line, and install the new vent motor. The lead technician actually did the original duct work on the house when it was built in 1995 and remembered the home.
Description of Work: Replaced ducting for new glass cook top and installed the new vent motor assembly.

+ -1 moreVent Craft was very professional. The two installers worked carefully and it showed. The hood was perfectly centered at the height I requested and they demo'd the controls for me. Another contractor declined to do this install because he was unfamiliar with chimney hoods and didn't have the tools to drill into the ceramic wall tile. They cleaned up well and polished the hood before they left. There is one scrape on the hood which they pointed out, but did not offer to do anything about. Their price was TRIPLE the price of the contractor who referred them, but then that guy couldn't do the job.
Description of Work: Installed a new 36" chimney-type range hood in my kitchen.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE A GREAT COMPANY, HAD GREAT FOLLOW THROUGH, GAVE US SUGGESTIONS THAT SAVED MONEY, AND IT NOW WORKS BETTER AND SAFER. THEY SUGGESTED AND TOOK CARE OF THE STOVE VENTILATION MAKING SURE IT WAS UP TO CODE.
