The person arrived on time and quickly cleaned the gutters. The deal was also for some gutter adjustments and fixes if need. I was very satisfied with the cleaning of the gutters. I would have liked to have feedback on any adjustments done but did not receive any. As a matter of fact I followed up to be sure it was/would have been done. I would have thought that the gutters would need some work but was assured that minor adjusting was done and any 'fixes' were completed. I would suggest that an invoice always be provided as a sign off and that any notes regarding the full work listed on the big deal be noted as well as an indication of what work was done.

We got three quotes from Angie's lists providers, and TX Gutters was significantly cheaper than the other two (a combination of competitive base pricing and a 20% off special for Angie's List customers). Despite the low price, we did have a few concerns about using them for our job. Of course, there's always the concern that low price would equal low quality. Also, Blanca and her husband were both at our home for the estimate, and they had some disagreements regarding the best solution for our house that gave us some hesitation regarding their level of professionalism. That being said, they seemed very knowledgeable regarding best practices of gutter installation, and the points of disagreement were primarily around the grey areas. I am so glad we put those minor concerns behind us and chose to work with TX Gutters, because they provided some of the best service of any home improvement contractor I've ever worked with. Blanca somehow timed her follow-up perfectly, calling me just when I'd planned to call her to schedule the work. They worked until nearly 8pm on the first day to complete all of the washing and painting. They even painted the trim on a 36-pane bow window that wasn't in the original scope (but not until confirming the color choice with us and going out to buy a new can of paint when we chose something different than what they'd used on the soffits). The next day, they put up all the gutters, and they looked great. Unfortunately, the rain barrels I had ordered online didn't show up until late that evening, so they came back the next day for that installation. When I decided I didn't like the rain barrel where I'd told them to put it, they came back and moved it. Despite a few minor expansions in scope (rain barrel installation, painting of trim of bow window, etc.), the invoice I got was actually slightly lower than their original estimate. (Just as I was writing this review, I noticed that they did add line items for the rain barrel installs but they also reduced the cost of the leaf guards by $0.25/ft and increased the discount.) And, when (two week later) I realized the spigots on two of the rain barrels had broken due to poor manufacturing, TX Gutters came out and replaced them with higher quality brass spigots at no charge. Although I had purchased the rain barrels and bore full responsibility for their quality, Blanca assured me that they already had the tools for the repair and would be happy to take care of it for me. By the end, they'd gone out of their way for me so many times that I almost felt I was taking advantage of them. Hopefully, this review will help them win some business, because I still feel like I owe them.

Congratulations, you found your gutter people! I'll be honest, I hated the idea of spending money of gutters, but I'm so glad it allowed me the opportunity to meet Blanca and Nico. I talked to 3 different companies for bids. I ultimately chose with TX Gutters, and I'm so glad I did. They were knowledgeable, professional and incredibly thorough. They were also very responsive to my concerns and answered all my questions. These are good people who offer excellent service at a great price, and they make it very clear they that they will do whatever needs to be done to be sure YOU are happy with the work too. Its funny, I only met them a week ago and they already feel like old friends. I wish every contractor I've dealt with on this house were as pleasant to do business with as Blanca and Nico.

I purchased one of the savings coupons for gutter cleaning. The company called me to schedule an appointment, They arrived on time. Eric was very professional. He cleaned all the gutters and fixed a gutter that had been bent when we took a tree down. He also gave me pricing for wire mesh to go on top of the gutters to help keep debris out. He gave me two quotes bnut told me I did not need the most expensive because I do not have any pine trees around my house. I was extremely pleased with this company and with Eric and will be using them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well. They did a really good job and they were very polite. They communicated very well even when they were running late.

Blanca was great on the initial call to schedule our service. When she was running late, she called to let us know and was very apologetic. She gave valuable assessment and input on our guttering issues upon arrival and followed up with a quote for additional services that we requested. Her technician was great!

She also called me the day prior to the appointment to confirm the time and the day after to ensure everything went well. In 2008, they constructed and installed a beautiful wood fence around my backyard. The installation was precise and the end product was beautiful. In the past 5 years this fence has stood up to the Texas weather and looks as beautiful today as it did when first installed. In 2011 they remodeled a bathroom for me and once again the end result was beautiful. I had all the surfaces in the room replaced, with travertine tile on the floor and tub area walls, new lighting fixtures, sink and faucets and the wood cabinets and vanity refinished to a beautiful cherry from the orginal walnut. All the work was first class, and again, they showed up when they said they would and completed the work on schedule. The only thing that's preventing me from having additional work done right now is finances!
