Two Men And A Truck

The movers stole my $600 Trek bike. They said they could dissemble my furniture but showed up with NO tool bag. I had to leave them in my apartment by themselves to go buy a part to take my bed apart. I had no choice. I’m so upset this company did this to me.

After I fed them well, tipped them EXTREMELY well, paid for their overtime charges - I discovered they brought in boxes that were scattered everywhere! 1 or 2 boxes may say "bedroom" but the rest on that handcart stack might be for the kitchen or living room. It appears they were cutting corners so they could hurry up the move instead of doing it properly. We're still trying to find things months later. Never would I hire them again!

It went really well. They were just very friendly and really helpful. We weren’t like super organize and they helped just get everything into the truck. It was fine and great.

They came on time. There were two guys, very friendly. One was real talkative but they came in wrapped everything up, moved everything very quickly and moved it up to my new apartment on the third floor. They never complained at all. They did a very good job. The only bad thing is that one of the workers saw that I had a motorcycle and I told him I was thinking of getting rid of it. So he went into this long story how he had to get rides to work because he did not have his own car. So that's what he talked about most of the time. I ended up giving him my motorcycle. He said he would give it to me for five hundred dollars and he never paid me the money. I called the company and asked if he still worked there and I was not sure if they were telling the truth because they said he didn't work there any more. I even thought about taking him to court but. It was too much of a hassle. I never used them again because of that. It was a good company but that experience turned me off. The service was great. They actually wrap everything so nothing got scratched and they moved me very quickly. The price was reasonable.

We moved about 5 miles away, they are VERY SLOW, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They needed to call for more people to help... it took ALL day to move us. We did not have that much stuff. They overcharge... and we will never use them again.

We had asked for 3 movers as per their recommendations, but they had some call in sick, and they only had 2 available. THey worked incredibly hard, and stayed for about 10 hours doing the move. 3 bedroom sets of furniture went up 12 foot stairs. Nevery complained, did a good job protecting the house and the furniture, as the house is not particularly easy floorplan to move large furniture into. Overall, they did a good job, and would use again.

It went so fast; I only needed the minimum time allowance. The weight of the furniture was so heavy - a side board, a large Persian rug, and a combination pool table/game/dining room table. They were very respectful and made sure they didn't track anything in or through the house. I would highly recommended.

We got an estimate for 4 men and two trucks to move us across state. When the movers arrived, there were only 2 men with the 2 trucks. When questioned about this, the drivers told us and quot;that is the way it is.and quot; It took 7 hours to pack our furniture because of the limited number of men--which meant we not not able to leave town until late in the day as opposed to noon as originally thought. The movers had to stay overnight at the destination, then took 5 hours to unload the trucks. It was a nightmare trying to keep our antique furniture protected, both during the initial packing and the unpacking. Although we supplied cloths (we did not want to pay an additional $15 a piece for packing material) to cover furniture the movers didn't think needed wrapping, the movers stacked metal furniture on top of our antiques when the furniture was unloaded into a storage building. The resulting scratches can be repaired, thank goodness, but this should never have happened. We had to request multiple times to have the furniture taken care of properly. We would advise anyone seeking movers for antique furniture, in particular, to BEWARE of Two Men and a Truck. Or expect to spend the entire time of loading/unloading monitoring every detail to ensure that your furniture is handled properly. Also, do not expect that this company will honor the contract quoted. You will NOT get what you paid for.We filed a complaint with the BBB on this company. The owner's response was that we had requested a lower price than the original estimate, so they had to go with just two men--an absolute lie. This is mentioned just so any others can know the lack of integrity by this company's owner

I used Two Men And A Truck for moving our belongings from one home to another. The employee who provided the quote was very professional. We packed our own boxes and they were responsible for moving them. We were told by them that if we moved our boxes and items closer to the front door for easier access that the price quoted would be lowered. We did move the items and they stood by their word and the price came down. We will absolutely use them again in the future if needed.

I thought they were very professional, on time, and hardworking. They told me upfront that if I did some things I would be able to save some money. I did those things, and it saved me a lot of money. I would absolutely use them again in the future. I have already recommended them to some realtors that I work with.

Overall....great. The one complaint I have, and I have to admit I was pretty angry, is that they "underestimated" the size of truck for our posessions. They were not able to fit about 1/3 of our paintings, and none of our pots for plants (most of which were nice ceramic pots). We literally have to leave them on our lawn, and our SUV was completely loaded down with stuff they couldn't fit. I complained and begged, but literally he said "there is nothing we can do". But to be honest, we've had some horrible experiences with other companies, and outside of this one issue, the rest of the move was flawless - and we felt reasonably priced. I wish I had pressed for reimbursement on what they made me leave behind, but otherwise was very happy.

They left a box behind. They were able to get it back to me eventually.

They were easy to work with. They were local and everything was easy to schedule and set up. They seemed to be pretty conscientious. They seemed to do a good job. I was real happy with the work, and they were real careful with everything. It was more expensive than I thought it was going to be, but that always seems to be the case. They were on time. I wouldn’t have any issues at all with using them again.
