It has turned out very, very well!

After 2-3 weeks I noticed several sections of weeds/annual blue grass in the landscaping that had not begin to die. I called Scott's to inquire about this and learned that the company does not treat weeds in the landscaping, only the bushes and trees. No where in my documentation nor later services was this ever mentioned. Scott's claim was that the chemicals used in the yard were too strong for the bushes and may kill them, and that the tree/shrub landscaping services didn't include the surrounding landscape. Their suggestion was that I buy Roundup and treat them myself. My view was if I'm paying to have the entire lawn and tree/shrub service, why would I treat the yard myself. It was Scott's job to use something along the lines of Roundup to fulfill their services. I immediately canceled my services with Scott's and will not recommend them to anyone else. I also want to point out in the attached photos several areas of my front lawn/landscaping. You will see a lack of bushes in the same area's that Scott's claims they can't treat because of their chemicals killing the bushes. I had to remove those bushes several years ago due to scale, and is one of the reason's I agreed to add on their tree/shrub service last year.

I'm happy with the service. Our yard looks better than it ever has. We have used other, cheaper services, but weren't happy with them. If you aren't happy with something at Scotts, or if you see a weed, just email or call and they will come back out.

Scotts Lawn Services promised to give me a two day advanced warning before they would show up. The advance ended up being only one day. After ordering the diseased treatment I waited over a month before they showed up the first time. They were not on time, and I had a problem with scheduling. I am still currently using them and giving them one more shot.

Terrible communications and service.

Received analysis and hired in April 2007; lawn was generally weed free, but needed to be thickened. Rained a lot the next day; per their inputs called back in 14 days if the treatment did not take. Treatment #2 was aeration on 4-May; 7-May retreated for #1; Again, rained a lot next day. Treatment #3 24-May (Fertilizer and Grub control. By now I'm getting weeds and called to ask for retreatment; even talked to the technician. Promised retreatment; 2-July technician showed up for Treatment #4 - I stopped him and called the office to request they cancel this account. Significant weeds and weak lawn after 3 months. I spoke with a Manager (Brad) who would speak with the GM over my account. I heard nothing. 31-July received a call from Corporate CSR to pay, I was shocked. I called to rectify 1-Aug; 20 Aug and 24 Aug. Promised to have a manager call me. Now I have a collection agency writing me. I would not wish this poor customer service and neglect on my enemy!! Customer sat., right?

I am quite displeased with this company, basically because they are not very responsive and punctual. I call them more than I should and they rarely call me back. They also seem like they really just don t care. I mean they don t even follow up on my weed control. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

The first time they came out before it was supposed to rain and the treatment rinsed off, they spot treated my lawn and I thought they should have treated the entire lawn. They were courtesy, but I would not use them again.

I had a live oak that had fungus and some kind of worms, and they sprayed to keep them from getting more sick. They come out every six to eight weeks. They put fertilizer on to keep the grass green, do minimal seeding, and preventative work for the weeds. They call and let us know when they will be here. They'll come back and redo the service if you are not satisfied.

I will not call or recommend this company.

After deciding to use Scotts, I called their offices only to continuously receive their voicemail. After a good 30 minutes of hitting re-dial, they finally answered. I setup the service and scheduled the aeration for Wednesday, with the promise of marker flags for my sprinkler system. Monday night, no marker flags had been delivered. Trying to call them on Tuesday to ensure the flags would be delivered and to confirm the Wednesday appointment, I was told there was a problem, and they were short-handed, and the aeration would be delayed for 2 weeks. When pressed as to when they intended on letting me know about this, the lady on the phone shrugged off the question, and said it had been re-scheduled for 2 weeks out. After hearing this, I hung-up, but later called back and cancelled the whole aeration and fertilization treatment. They were extremely unorganized, and unprofessional. I'll go with a company who acts like they want my business.

THE TECHNICIAN WILL STOP AND ANSWER QUESTIONS OR GIVE SUGGESTIONS ANY TIME YOU ASK. THEY ARE ALSO QUICK TO RESPOND AND COME OUT TO THE HOUSE IF YOU NOTICE A PROBLEM WITH THE LAWN. THEY WILL ALSO CALL A SUPERVISOR IF THEY ARE UNSURE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS OR WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT.

VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH RESULTS ON TREES AND LAWN.
