The Dirt Doctor

I was very unhappy with their services - way too fast they were in and out in about 15 minutes for 2 story home - too fast to get a good clean, my carpet still felt dirty, dog hair still all over the carpet and they were 3 hours late. Cost only 80 due to groupon deal.

When the technicians arrived Eddie the lead tech went into my attic to check the AC unit. He told me it was full of mold and said for an additional fee they could clean it. I agreed and they cleaned it and unclogged the condensation drain line also. When they unclogged the drain line they had to take the plumbing under the sink in my guest bath apart. When they finished they did not put the plumbing back together properly and I didn't notice until several days later when a bad smell started coming from under the sink. We took everything out and I was able to get the pipes put together properly and stop the leak but the whole bottom of the vanity was soaked. I contacted them asking them to come back out to try and get the odor out but was told by the technician Eddie that there is nothing he can do for me. Also the manager/owner Asaf Abuksis will not take or return my phone calls and the lady who answers the phones will not tell me who they are insured through. It's been over a week and a half and the vanity still stinks I'm going to have to replace the entire vanity. DO NOT use this company.

I let the dirt doctors in then went back to work. Neighbors came in the house and stayed until the workers left. They were here less than one hour to clean carpets in a 3300 square foot house (3 bedrooms, hall, 2 living areas). The carpets were mostly dry when I got home, so it was obviously there was no deep cleaning done. All the stains in all rooms were still visible. The neighbors recommended a carpet cleaner they had used for years. He came out and did a great job on our carpets. Groupon gave me only a partial refund for unsatisfactory results. Dirt Doctor did not return my requests for contact. Don't use Dirt Doctor for cleaning your carpets unless you want a malpractice suit to deal with.

Pet stains were not removed. So much residue was left in the carpet that every room looks much worse than it did before their "cleaning." Before I hired them they assured me their process left on residue. They worked very fast - may be why so much residue was left. Overall it was an F-. Price was inexpensive but rec'd an F because it wasn't worth the discount.

RUN FROM THIS VENDOR! Read the OTHER reviews! What a scam. Appt was for 12-3pm. Vendor finally called at 1:08 to say the team was running late and we needed to reschedule for 2-6pm. Team finally arrived at 1:45 pm, and the team leader was surprised to learn they were late! He "explained" to me that the 12-3pm window for the appointment was for their "arrival time". I "explained" to him that NO ONE had ever said that in scheduling the window of time for the appointment, and that IF that were true, why would someone call at 1:08 to say they were running late? What a joke #1. Team leader counted up rooms and then said my Groupon coupon was for only three room and a hall, so for the 4th room I needed to pay an additional $20. I gave him my card and he ran it. THEN, he asked to see my coupon for the reference number...which I had already given to this vendor at time of reservation. I finally reprinted the coupon from the Groupon site, and it was for "an entire house up to 2500 sq ft". We agreed that I now DID NOT owe another $20, so he credited my card, and then explained that it might be an additional billing cycle before the company processed the credit. What a joke #2. At 2:18....38 minutes after they arrived, they were done. Four rooms and a hallway. There are still stains all over my carpet, the carpet is wet, and the house is hot from having left the front door open the entire time for their equipment hoses. What a joke #3. I'm already so tired of being angry and frustrated that I'm over it. Don't say you weren't warned.

What a SCAM! DO NOT USE! Cleaned 1,500 SF of carpet in less than 30 minutes (includes unpacking and repacking equipment)....no way!! I can't vacuum that fast. Complete waste of money. Would have given them a C, but they refused to move a couple of chairs/smaller items. I understand they don't want to take responsibility, but my wife, who is 9 months pregnant (I was at work), had to move them. Then they joked about her going into labor because of what she was doing. Very unprofessional!!!

I called to make the appt and they had available times right away - it was not one of those where you get a special offer then have to wait for weeks to get an appt. When the guys came, they did not hassel me in any way to get more money out of me. They asked did I need anything else like pre-spot treatments and when I stated I just wanted what came with the offer they said no problem and were very courteous. They gave me a 3 hour window when making my appt and were there in the first 30 minutes of that window with a call before coming so I could be ready. I have 3 dogs so did not expect a miracle - just freshen things up a bit and was pleased with the results. They left everything as they found it when leaving. No issues at all.

I'm glad that I purchased the deal because they found mold in my air ducts. The overall cost ended up much more than I thought but it worked out well since I had the mold problem taken care of. I'd had another company come out to clean my air ducts but they didn't do as thorough of a job as Dirt Doctors did. He even took me into the attic to look at the mold myself and he pointed out the areas of mold.

When he entered the house, I asked his name. He did not answer. He immediately told me that I needed a cleaning agent to go with the steam in order to clean the spots and traffic areas. He asked for $25.00 additional for the cleaning agent. I told him I didn't want to do that because it is not my house and I am only here doing a favor for my friend. He then said he would only charge me for two areas, giving me one area for free, so I could pay for the additional cleaning agent. I asked how much it would cost and he said $50.00. Not my kind of math. Plus the fact that I already told him it was not my house and i could not pay any more than the original price. I asked him if he could not provide for the cleaning for which he was already paid on the internet special offer ($59.00). He finally said he would do the steam cleaning only and that the carpets would not be clean when he finished. Since he was already paid I told him to do the steam cleaning. If it were not a prepaid order, i would have told him to leave.
