They are a tile and granite company and are terrible, just terrible. I used them for two projects and they did terrible work. I had to call them back and they left the house filthy. They left windows open at the farm and would come in and steal things. I have never seen such bad work in my life. I have documents to prove this stuff and I have still saved my text messages to them. There is a part of a bar that is all cockamamie. Those tile and granite people are supposed to have these things pool table level. They refused to honor it and would say they were out of that marble or granite and they thought it would break if they moved it. I told them that was not my problem and their problem was to fix it. I told them I did not care how much marble or granite they had to buy to fix my problem. I called and called them and would talk to anybody to get them to make any amends. I had to hire somebody myself to fix it. I was able to fix it simply without cracking any marble or anything like that. Their work is substandard and they used the wrong type of cloth. We had to call back again and again to try to get somebody to fix it. This was on two properties and I probably will have to take them to small claims court. They finally fixed stuff, but you don't leave a vacant farmhouse that anybody could go by with a window open with all this new cabinetry and a stainless steel refrigerator in there. Each job was about $5,000.

DO NOT USE TEXAS GRANITE if you can help it. My contractor chose them and the price was pretty good. The sales person, Jennifer, was nice during the sale and I thought everything would go well. I was wrong. When they came to get the final measurements we figured out they had forgotten to measure the granite for the bar in the kitchen. It was not in the estimate so that had to get added. When it came time to install, they said Tuesday but it ended up being Thursday. The bar top they left off was 4 inches short on both pieces making it unusable. The island piece was 1.5 inches too long on both sides causing it to stick way over the island. Since it was a hand chiseled cut, they had to take it back and install later. They also had to cut some additional because it was handing over a piece of the cabinet where the range went. They came back and installed everything and we thought we were through. When we went to put the range back in it wouldn't fit due to the uneven cut of the granite. This was not that big of a deal until they said they would be out to trim it for three days in a row but didn't show. Our new range had to sit in the middle of the kitchen all that time because there was no where to go with it. Finally after several heated phone calls and a threat to stop payment on the check, they came out to trim the granite for the range. During the three no-show days, however, we also realized the island granite was not shimmed and was not level by 1/2" causing a major slant that was visible to the eye. All is now well but they have been here 7 times to finally get it right. Be careful and realize you might have to pay a little more with a top rated company but I will NOT stray from Angie's list again.
Description of Work: New granite in kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms with new sinks. We picked out the granite, got the price, and they installed.

We went into Texas Granite and tile after my spoke with Shelly letting her know what she was looking for and the price range. Shelly said that yes they have that stone and gave her the price. We hurried down to talk with them but found out the price she gave us on the phone was not correct. We were informed that we had chosen a premium high quality stone that had just come in and the extra veining was what we wanted. We discussed how we would like it cut throughout the counters to show the veins. Shelly said no problem. Signed the contract even though it was more than we had planned on spending. Chose a slab to be delivered took pictures of it and waited for delivery. They showed up 3 hours late with no phone call to inform us that they would be late. I had to call to find out if it was still coming. I was not home when it was being installed but after it was all in, we noticed that it was not the same stone we picked out. WOW, no veins! So much for all the time we spent picking it out. We had made arrangements with her to have the installer take back my credit card info. I asked him as he finished if he had the paperwork for me to sign and he said no. My wife got a call 30 minutes after they left by Shelly letting us know if we didn't get her payment asap that she would have to go to her supervisor and take further actions. My wife had not even gotten home from work to look over the install. Unprofessional! We also noticed after they left that one of the pieces was cracked. Called Shelly and got a run around for over a week to get an answer about replacing the cracked piece. They finally brought by a piece to replace the only one that had some veins through it with a plain slab. Shelly was so excited that she had found the exact piece. Lie! The slab they delivered was a different shade and had a broken corner in front. We finally decided to keep the cracked piece and never to go back to them. We were threatened, lied to and also deceived by this company!
