Leo and his crew showed up when promised. Took the time to properly protect the areas around where they were working... They matched the stains, glaze and paints perfectly! They cleaned up after the work was done so well you couldn't tell they were even here except for the fact that you could see what a wonderful job they did! Three days in I liked the work they were doing so much that I called Kent Franklin and expanded the scope of work... We agreed on the price and the guys came back and finished the additional work... I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. They were a little higher than the other two bids I had but you get what you pay for! They used SherwinWillams paint...Quality all around.

These guys are AWESOME. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. My wife and had surgery and we were unable to move/clear out items for them to paint the outside of our house and our shed. Kent was AWESOME. Told me not to worry that they would handle it. He's a great communicator. We are remodeling our home inside and out and I wish I had met these guys before, I would have given them the contract for the inside as well. Kent's guys came and did the power washing last week, preparing for painting. Then they came and replaced boards which needed to be replaced - and started painting. They also came on Saturday. It was close to 100 outside -and I don't know how they did it - but they did it and did a great job in the process. They cleaned up after themselves and I didn't even really know they were here. They came Monday and finished up. They also did some work inside Monday and Tuesday - tearing down wallpaper and painting. Again, they were super. They cleaned up and did a super job. I would use them again and would suggest that others do the same!

We are satisfied with the work.

From the beginning to the end we had a great experience with Southern Painting. After we gave the approval they started as quickly as they could considering the crazy Texas weather we have had this spring. The workers were great and took every precaution they could to make sure paint didn't end up where it shouldn't be. We were invited to walk around the house and let them know if we could see anything that needed attention before they left. When we found a spot that needed a little more paint they took care of it immediately. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend Southern Painting to my neighbors.

This was the second time I used Southern Painting and I have been very impressed with the job they do and their communication. They textured and painted my guest bathroom (after a handyman destroyed the texture). They are very polite and do a great job. We previously had them paint an exterior door and garage door. They did a great job on this as well.

Other that what I put above, I agreed to let them put their sign in my yard - and would not hesitate to contact them again for painting. The person who actually came did a super job, cleaned up before he left, and it was super. I would give them an A+++++ rating!

At the end of October, Kent came to the house to provide a free estimate to paint the exterior of a one story house. We were very impressed with the detail that he placed into the estimate. He asked us if there was anything that we would like to focus on so that they could put extra care into those spots. He actually printed his estimate out on a printer that he had in his car and was able to hand it to us within 20 minutes. Everything was clearly labeled and very detailed with what they would do if they got the job. Also, there was no deposit or payment until the job was done. When the week came for them to paint, Kent texted me with when to expect them, and if there were any changes, he would let me know. Communication was really good, and they worked with my time schedule too whenever I requested anything. Leo and his team came the first day to power wash. That took about an hour. Two days later, they came to caulk, which took about another hour. They really took their time prepping the house, and that was very much appreciated since it had rained earlier in the week and temperatures were in the 50s-60s. They were really wanting to make sure that the house was dry before painting. The painting day took about 6 hours total. The end result and the amount of detail that they placed into the house is absolutely amazing! It really looks like a brand new house! I would highly recommend Kent, Leo, and the painting team.

Kent Franklin works miracles!! His crew at Southern Painting (Leo and the guys) are incredible. They work quickly, neatly and when I was truly in a bind in my schedule...they came through. These guys are truly professionals. Kent assisted me in selection of colors for the outside and inside. I love it! The house was truly transformed - Thank you - Kent and Leo!! I would recommend Kent/Southern Painting for any painting needs! I will definitely use them again for the next paint project.

The three man team spoke perfect English, easy to communicate and they were anxious to please us. The supervisor kept us informed daily of what was going to be done and also made it clear we had to be satisfied with their work. No up front money, paid when the job was done.

They were timely, professional, courteous and hard workers! They went above and beyond my expectations.

Contacted the owner, Kent Franklin, for free estimate. He responded very quickly to the request and provided a thorough work description and estimate. He explained that no payment would be required until we were satisfied with the quality of the job. It consisted of wall preparation and taping and application of two coats of a lighter shade of paint over an existing deeper terra cotta color wall surface in two areas: a powder bath and a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is adjacent to a dining room which remains a terra cotta red. The corners are rounded and required special care in taping to insure clean straight lines between the two room colors. The new color had to blend and match the paint applied four years ago in an adjacent room. We provided the source and reference number for the pint used in the adjacent room. Because of an impending social event, we asked to schedule the work in one week. On the agreed date, Mr. Franklin, another manager, and two painters arrived as scheduled. They brought with them paint mixed to the color specifications we had provided. After a brief discussion and review of the work, the two painters began their work. They laid plastic sheeting to protect floors and carpets, carefully taped around cabinets, etc., and painted. They spent most of the day. At the conclusion, my wife was shown the work for approval. We are very pleased with the outcome. The work was better than that done by the painting contractor when the house was built four years ago. We found Mr. Franklin and his crew easy to work with and very professional. We believe the price was very reasonable for high quality work and.

From the time of the quote to the end of the job, these people were great to work with!. We asked for a quote in March and told Kent we would not be selecting a contractor until May and he respected our wishes and waited until May to follow up. Once the papers were signed (no down payment required), he and his crew reported for work at the exact time and on the date they said they would. The work progressed the way we were told, with updates by Kent and Diego (the crew chief) several times a day. Diego and his crew are professionals and did a great job. After five days of living in a house covered in plastic, we are very pleased with our "like-new" interior.

The work was all very professionally done. The crew arrived on the agreed date and powerwashed all the surfaces that were to be painted. The next day a small army came and began the prep work of repair and stayed to finish up the primer coat of paint. I was very impressed that they worked a 12 hour day. The crew was back punctually at 8:00 the next morning to apply the paint. Besides the excellent work, the owner, Kent Franklin, was very responsive to my request to fix part of the soffit with new wood after the painting was completed. I really appreciated the timely manner and the number of men on the crew so that the job could be completed in three days. I certainly can highly recommend this firm.

The general manager of our project was very helpful from the first day he came to provide us with the estimate to the day after they were finished. All of the workers knew what they were to do and did such a great job. Thanks to Southern Painting we now have a beautiful home!
