Pilot Flooring

The company did an awesome job and left things clean as a whistle. But when we tried to call them today (9/27/16), the phones are disconnected. Their website is no longer available. What happened?

They overcharged me $100 and agreed to send it immediately. I also requested that they give me an estimate on my garden room floor. I emailed and called them a total of eight times. No one has contacted me.They have done a lot of work at my home and I am surprised that they have been so difficult to get a response. I have spent a great deal of money on hardwood flooring, granite tops, tiles, kitchen flooring as well as the utility floor. When they could not get workers to install it, my painter that was working at my house gave them two names of installers that came and finished the job. At that time they said these new men would be of great help to them.

They were great and would work with them again.

Overall it went successful. A couple of small snags though, I bought carpet on Tuesday and by Thursday afternoon I still did not have a confirmation that I was scheduled for Friday, for sure. I realize you give good prices because you don't have a lot of overhead for office staff, but every phone number I called I got voice-mail or the voice mail box was full. I found e-mail address on your site and sent to a specific person, which I had a call back within 15 minutes, so doing that route helped. The installers seemed to take longer than I expected due to the fact I didn't have a lot of furniture and three bedrooms and living room/hall. I had moved everything out but the core furniture before they arrived. They arrived at 9am and did not leave till after 4PM. They did a good job, however, they got cell phone calls approximately every 15 minutes, and stopped working to do that. I do expect some inconsistencies when working with several different parts of a company, so I would recommend them, just don't expect the flooring to be installed timely.

Installed laminate flooring in bedroom, we were very pleased with the whole process!!!

The initial installment went fairly well, with only a few issues with (the crew) used for the job, some of that being punctuality and pace of work issues. Several small follow up repairs were required and PF handled those very well, in a timely matter, using a different crew. The flooring had been installed for more than two years when the water and quot;eventand quot; occurred. As of that time, the flooring (hand-scraped wood-laminate) had held up very well, especially since I have two large dogs that move freely in and out of the house, bringing mud, water and wear with them. PF handled the repair to the laminate flooring. They provided the, estimate and repair in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Bruno for the installment work, as he did an excellent job on the first round of touch up repairs (two years ago), and then did an excellent job of installing the flooring (by himself) on the larger flood damage repair, recently. Overall, the process was very transparent and Collin, Robert, Zach and Bruno were a pleasure to work with. Finally, the estimate for the flood repair came in low due to a miscalculation in square footage of repair size. When this became apparent, I felt it appropriate to adjust the estimate (up) for the correct square footage, however, PF stood by the initial lower estimate, charging me less than required... So, in closing, I would highly recommend Pilot Flooring, and I will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Went great exactly has hoped. Arrived on time and went straight to work. Very friendly and didn't try to add on upsales which was appreciated!

Everything worked out good. They knew that they were doing. They went right to work and got it done on time. They were good with communication as well.

Price quoted was a good deal but when they started the job the price went up. Overall I would rate them as FAIR. We would not use them again as we can get better deals elsewhere.

The floor looks good and they did a good job. They were able to match it with the existing laminate. They were late because they had some problems with their truck. I might use them again if I decide to get quarter round put on.

I am thoroughly impressed with how the owner runs his company. There were some small snags as with any project, but they kept to their promise and price the whole time. The floors are beautiful and I can't recommend them any higher than to state, they are truly the only floor company I would trust. Pilot are highly recommended!!!

I looked it up for my sister and they are a disaster. Do not go to them. I had forgotten that they'd actually done a job for me at a house I had before this one and that too was a disaster. They didn't measure it enough and came back wanting another $800 and then they screwed up the flooring somehow with more measurement crap and it ended up taking twice as long as it was supposed to. Then, when my sister ended up talking to them, I didn't correlate the name 'Pilot' at the time, they told her that they had changed owners now, but she had problems with them too though I can't remember what it was. She ended up firing them right before they started and she went with somebody else. She was getting wood flooring put in her downstairs. With the counter-tops, they left a bunch of grout stuck all over my counters and the floor. It was a mess. I had to have them come back twice just to clean up all the crap they did. The first time they came on time, but not when they were to clean up their mess.

Over all it went well. Took two days because one room needed to be leveled. Heavy furniture could have been a problem but they handled it well. The cost was as quoted. The floor looks good. To date very satisfied with the outcome. Would use again if situation arises, and recommend them to anyone looking for Laminate flooring.

They were friendly and pretty timely. They got the work done very quickly. They were easy to communicate with. They ran out of the wood laminate e that I selected. They gave me an upgrade and let me select a higher priced product at the same price as the flooring that I originally selected. I liked that. I did have some flooring buckle. I called and sent a picture by text t them. They haven't gotten back to me and that was a couple of weeks ago. That is the one thing I would say that I am not very happy with. They had a contract to come out. They took out the thresh hold and then he never put it back in. He said my contractor that I had could do that. There are some things they did not put back that I would have to pay somebody else to do. I will use them again. The owner is easy to get in touch with and easy to communicate with. I would just be more in touch with the owner.

Robert with Pilot Flooring came out to prepare a free in home estimate. We were working within a budget and intended to only install the living room and master bedroom. After getting their all inclusive quote, we decided to proceed and add the office area as well. Pilot Flooring coordinated the installation and the job took two full days. The installation team was friendly and professional. We did have one issue with a transition but Pilot was quick to coordinate the repair. They did not close our service file until they knew we were totally satisfied. The hardwood floor looks beautiful and it is obvious that they were professionally installed.
