MaidPro Plano

When I called to speak to the manager (Janet) and let her know that I would not be in need of her services any longer because her employee was late, I was met with an attitude. I was told "There isn't a contract; did you sign something? Did I?" - not exactly the tone to set with a potentially new customer - and mind you, HER EMPLOYEE WAS LATE but SHE HAD MY CC #. I told her that a) the intake specialist had not sent me an email expressing the time, date and amount that I needed to pay to which I was met with "That's the home office, not my office". B) that the initial time window I was told would be between 11 and 3 and that I would receive a courtesy call that day (Thursday 5/26) from the local manager to confirm my appointment for tomorrow - FRIDAY 5/27, 9:50am, STILL NO CALL or CONFIRMATION EMAIL. I called the office and was told by the representative that "My manager says that we will have someone out between 1 - 3pm (but the manager did not speak with me herself - good business etiquette). C) 3:15pm on Friday - I have not received a courtesy call from the manager or one from the cleaning person. When I attempted to call the office (I went to voicemail 7 times) I had the privilege of being told by the MANAGER that we didn't have a contract, regardless of the fact that I had not received a confirmation e-mail that "The price is already locked in" (curious statement because I contacted this company to PAY someone to clean my home.... not to receive services for FREE or at a discount) and that she was "Trying to do me a favor by squeezing me in today" (I didn't ask for a favor to be made, If she didn't have the time, don't book me for that date - offer me another or ask when would be a better time for me as the customer). ALL OF THIS WITH AN ATTITUDE! Absolutely hands-down the MOST HORRIFIC CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.

We employed MaidPro Plano for 8 months. While their housecleaning was better than average, their office apparently schedules them to the point that they can't meet their agreed arrival times over 50% of the time. The last straw was when they failed to make their scheduled time before Thanksgiving, and we were told it would be an additional 2 weeks if/when they could return since "our other customers really want maid service this week, too". After cancelling, we received a "please give us another chance" email from MaidPro National. When we contacted the local office December 2 to try to get on track with them again, the franchisee, Janet Sklar, told us that we "weren't understanding enough" of their scheduling/staffing issues and, despite National's email, she really didn't want our business.

The two ladies showed up very promptly. They did a good job of cleaning our rather cluttered house. They were both friendly and worked effectively. I was impressed that we have not found anything out of place after they finished, despite our clutter. I definitely plan to use this service again and expect to request the same ladies.

Bernice is very professional and a delight to work with. We are very picky and we are very pleased with her work. She comes every other week.
